Consumer Complaint: A few merchants made repeated and fraudulent charges to our credit card account with Capital One Bank. Despite multiple dispute filings, phone calls, letters, and good faith efforts by us, Capital One did not resolve the disputes. They did not Block merchants from making repeated fraudulent charges to our account upon our request, and aided merchants to keep billing more fraudulent charges. All the details/documents for these disputes were provided to Capital One in XXXX and XXXX. We have paid all legitimate charges that we made to our account in full to Capital One. Yet they did not remove disputed fraudulent charges from our account, They did not Close our account upon our request. When we refused to pay disputed fraudulent charges to our account, Capital One kept adding Late Fees and Interest Charges to our account, We also discovered that Capital One fraudulently charges interest on Paid Balances. This is dishonest and unfair practice by Capital One and must be investigated by US Commerce Dept. and US/CA Dept. of Consumer Affairs. Their Customer Service Staff is the worst in the industry, The entire balance ( {$1500.00} ) on our account is in dispute with Capital One. We have decided to never do business with Capital One again. Please investigate this matter and report it to US/CA Regulatory Authorities , as appropriate. Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: I have a perfect credit history. Good credit score. Excellent salary of XXXX XXXX annually. Capital One consistently denied me an increase and only has ever ONE TIME increased my limit after I submitted a CFPB complaint. XXXX and XXXX have never done this. I get immediate results as well. I feel they discriminate against women and minorities by this practice and charge me a higher interest rate as well with no basis for the higher rate and no basis for not increasing my limit. I've even offered evidence of salary.

Consumer Complaint: In 2018 I called Capital One to report fraud and they told me I would not be responsible for the account. I am currently trying to fix my credit but the collection agency that bought the debt that I apparently " don't owe '', is giving me a hard time. You have to provide those documents to me or send it over to the collection agency so they can send it over to me

In XXXX I was approved for the card and began using it and making payments consistent with the 0 % APR perk in mind. I saw on XX/XX/XXXX I was assessed a interest charge of {$11.00}. I called up Capital One because I was shocked to see this interest charge. I spoke to some supervisors and they said that actually the card I had been approved for didn't have that feature even though the design is identical, the name is identical and is the same product. Totally evil and deceptive practice on behalf of Capital One. This company is totally predatory and targets the poorest people in society with these rotten deals, they are sick!

Consumer Complaint: This complaint is regarding 4 disputed charges from XXXX. On XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX, from XXXX confirmed via email my credit card on file was updated to my XXXX XXXX. Prior to this email, my Capital One card was on file for the company to charge. At this point, I remove authorization to charge the Capital One by replacing the card on file with the XXXX. XXXX was successfully charging my XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX via email notifying them to cancel my account and revoking all authorization to charge my credit card. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX from XXXX acknowledged my cancellation email. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX charged {$550.00} to my Capital One credit card. After my written notice revoking authorization to do so. I contacted Capital One, they successfully disputed the charges. I received the appropriate credit. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX charged my credit card again. Same amount. I provided the same documentation and Capital One closed my claim. I called them and pointed out in the documentation where I removed this card off file and it was confirm. I also provided receipt showing there XXXX was charging my XXXX card. Capital One has handled this incorrectly and I need intervention

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23 I received simultaneous emails of credit card accounts being opened under my personal information with XXXXXXXX XXXX and Capital One. I do not have any accounts with these companies. Called both banks to submit a fraud alert and cancelled both accounts. Also called XXXX and XXXX to put a freeze on my credit. Tried contacting XXXX and creating an account online but automation would not allow me to speak to a specialist. It directed me to the website which caused an error when I went to create an account and put a freeze on my credit. Was not able to freeze credit on their website. Tried calling several times. Took a screenshot for reference. Additionally, credit report is showing credit card transactions already one day later.
