Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, I opened my 4th account with Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX. Specifically, I opened a Venture travel card as they are running a promotion where you get XXXX bonus miles when you spend $ XXXX in 90 days from opening the account. However, what I found was that unlike my other 3 capital one accounts which let you immediately use the card in virtual form when you open the account this Venture card suddenly " does not qualify ''. In other words, the only card with a time sensitive benefit attached they choose to not allow you to use right away. Also, all 3 of my other cards came incredibly quickly while this one opened on the XXXX I am not expecting to receive until the XXXX ( as per their app ). It would seem that the company is going out of their way to ensure a reduced amount of time to use the card and earn the bonus miles. I requested that they approve the virtual card for the account like my other 3, they said they didn't have any control over it. I requested they extend the date by which I had to spend the $ XXXX for the bonus to begin once the card was received, again they could not. I then requested any form of email confirmation of the conversation and documentation of the issue and was told they are unable to do this as well. The issue just seems to be the discrepancy when it comes to the single time sensitive card and I am willing to be that this happens to basically everyone else as well.

Consumer Complaint: I received a email ( one ) stating I was late paying on a capital one credit card. I never applied or used or owned a capital one credit card. I called customer service, lady stated that card was never activated. Assumed it was taken care of. I receive another late email months 4-5 later. I called spoke to a man who stated I dont see any of those notes on this account. I stated I want a hard copy bill or list of transactions on this so I can use my legal services at work to fight this. Never received anything, figured it was taken care of. Now Im trying to get a car loan. I have had perfect XXXX and over credit score that is now down to XXXX because of this capital one card. I have a mortgage thats my debt. I have paid everything car loans, credit cards, student loans on time in full. Why would I let {$2000.00} credit card ruin my credit? Ive disputed on all 3 credit reports. This is absolutely ridiculous. How can this be taken care of? Im a single full time working mother. I dont have time for this.

Consumer Complaint: I recently made a complaint against company for fraudulently accepting public debt is an obligation to The United Sates. Company refused to address violations. Company also send a letter to me stating there was an unauthorized person making a complaint through the CFPB and thats suspicious. Company has my information as its law for records to be kept 5 yr min. This is proof that I received companys letter. Company should now address violations and has been sent a cease and desist letter which includes no form of communication nor furnishing any information pertaining to me to anyone without not written consent.

Consumer Complaint: My vehicle was damaged in a hail storm. XXXX XXXX sent me a check payable to myself and Capital One for {$3100.00} which was more than the payoff. I endorsed the check and sent it to Capital One to payoff the loan. They applied the payoff payment for {$1700.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ; reversed it on XX/XX/XXXX ; reapplied a payment for {$2200.00} on XX/XX/XXXX leaving a credit balance ( overpayment ) of {$450.00}. They reversed the {$450.00} and sent me a check. The website also stated that a check in the amount of {$910.00} ( {$3100.00} - {$2200.00} ) was being processed to be sent to me along with my title release. On XX/XX/XXXX the {$2200.00} was reversed and they showed me past due. I spoke to Capital One on XX/XX/XXXX and they said the check had been returned unpaid by XXXX. I called XXXX and they stated the check had not been returned. I called back Capital One and after about an hour and speaking to 3 people - I was assured the return check would be mailed to me within 3-5 business days. In the meantime I made an additional payment for the last dues amount and the upcoming XXXX payment ( {$920.00} including a late fee ). Within that time period of XXXX days I have received the {$910.00} check which was previously mentioned and a letter stating my title was released.

The rep told me my account had been compromised and that they would need to issue new account numbers. This would take 3-5 days and I would not have access to my funds. I told the rep that I needed access to my funds to pay bills and provide lunch money to my kids. XXXX received an email stating my old capital one accounts have been closed. I called back in hopes of my funds being available. Rep and manager XXXX told me still not available and they would not expedite Please help me resolve access to my funds.
