Its been months now without any resolution or access to my funds. Ive called and visited the Capital One branch numerous times only to hear the same thing, the investigation is still open and no further information can be given. My client did a wire reversal on XX/XX/2023 as per the advice of a capital one employee, but capital one did not return the wire to her. I have not received any of my money back, any resolution or any explanation for this account freeze. Please help.

They offered me XXXX and I agreed to use installed in the bank account app. I trusted this service as I trust most of Capital One 's products including a credit card Quicksilver. Unfortunately on XX/XX/XXXX, My wife and I suffered a scam A person hacked my aunt 's XXXX account and my wife got a phone call impersonating my aunt crying and screaming her asking for desperate help for her son in trouble in a different state where she lives. My wife texted me about the situation while I was at work. And I sent money through XXXX to the persons that were about to put in problems, my cousin. I sent {$180.00} to a person named XXXX XXXX phone number XXXX XXXX XXXX and {$500.00} to XXXX XXXX phone number XXXX. My wife sends also {$300.00} through XXXX with XXXX XXXX. After I tried to call my aunt with no luck we got suspicious then a parent called me about my aunt 's account on XXXX being hacked. I immediately called the bank to cancel these transactions after an hour but the security department at Capital One indicated to me that they couldn't stop the transaction and that I would receive a temporary credit for this amount till they investigated that a team would call me for more information the employee never ask me what happen he just proceed to open a claim. This never happened no temporary credit, no refund Nobody called me to see what happened. After almost 2 weeks they told me my claim was denied cause I authorized the payments. I tried to go and talk to a manager and he did the same didn't ask me what happened and just told me there was nothing to be done. I never received advice from the bank that there are not protection fraudulent situations. In the end pain, anger frustration hit my family, I contacted the persons to whom I sent money and I got to talk to them on the phone They denied everything and refused to give my money back. My wife got her {$300.00} back from XXXX XXXX Capital One refused to help or even notify authorities about this scam.I lost money and the bank gave no support and very little orientation about XXXX despite their being part of the bank consortium that owns XXXX.

Amidst the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, I proactively negotiated with Capital One and reached an agreement based on the pandemic 's impact on my financial situation. Despite this agreement, Capital One has consistently reported late payments to all three major credit bureaus, further exacerbating my financial difficulties. I respectfully demand the removal of these late payment reports from all credit bureaus. Given that my account terms have been adjusted as part of our new agreement, it's imperative for my credit report to accurately reflect this understanding.
