The dealership pulled my credit numerous amount of times on different dates. I am dealing through identy theft and this issue made things worst. Consumer Complaint: I am writing to address some concerns pertaining to my private information and its sharing by consumer reporting agencies, specifically XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. As a consumer, it is essential that my rights are upheld as stated under the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 USC 1681 section 602 a. This act emphasizes the need for fairness, impartiality, and respect for the consumer 's right to privacy. Furthermore, according to 15 USC 6801, it is the policy of Congress that financial institutions have an obligation to respect customer privacy and safeguard their nonpublic personal information. As a financial institution defined under this provision, ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) must adhere to these principles. Under 15 USC 1681 section 604 a section 2, consumer reporting agencies are only permitted to furnish consumer reports based on the written instructions of the respective consumer. I have neither provided consent to ( Furnisher of information to credit agencies ) nor XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX to share my information. Any previous consent, whether explicit or implicit, is hereby revoked. Moreover, according to 15 USC 6802b c, a financial institution is prohibited from disclosing nonpublic personal information to nonaffiliated third parties without informing the consumer of their nondisclosure options. I was never given the opportunity to exercise this right. I would also like to draw attention to the fact that 15 USC 1681C a 5 prohibits consumer reporting agencies from including certain adverse items of information in consumer reports, specifically those that antedate the report by more than seven years. It is evident that an adverse item is being reported without my permission, which constitutes a violation of the law. Additionally, 15 USC 1681s 2 a 1 a states that it is unlawful to furnish inaccurate information to consumer reporting agencies. XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX must ensure the accuracy of the information they provide. According to 15 USC 1681e, consumer reporting agencies are required to establish reasonable procedures to avoid violations of section 1681c and limit the furnishing of consumer reports to specific purposes outlined in section 1681b. It is clear that XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX are not meeting these expectations. Lastly, in accordance with 12 CFR 1016.7, I hereby exercise my right to opt out of the reporting services of all three companies ( XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX ). Consumer Complaint: this complaint is in regards to my Capital One Quick Silver Card ending in XXXX. Capital one keeps flagging my account for fraud when i make my CC payments every week or every other week to avoid interest. And of course get my 1.5 % back. they placed my card on hold on XX/XX/XXXX. l called them and had a 3 way call with my bank to verify it was in fact my bank account. Mind you, it's the same Cap 1 card and same bank that i have been making payments on for over 2 years. They placed my account on hold again for the SAME exact reason this week on XX/XX/XXXX. Once again, its the same credit card and same bank account. They are refusing to unlock my account. I asked the fraud department to look at my history. let them know I had already verified my account. but they refused. I asked for a XXXX and was not allowed to speak to anyone else. Employee I spoke with was XXXX. Employee number XXXX. I believe this is a ploy to get me not to pay my account so frequently so I can accrue interest.

Consumer Complaint: I made a puchase at Kohls on XX/XX/XXXX for {$52.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX, prior to the closing date of the billing cycle, I received a charge from Kohls for {$1.00}, which was accidentally charged twice, for a bounce back of my checking account. I had gotten divorced and opened a new checking account at the same bank because the bank was unable to remove either spouse from the joint checking account, but I don't use the Kohl 's card very often, and didn't realize that I hadn't updated the account number. I called Kohls and chatted with them online several times on XX/XX/XXXX, and they credited back the fee when I explained that this was an honest misunderstanding, I have never been late, and I have excellent credit ( score around XXXX ), and held the credit card account for over 10 years. I spoke to XXXX different people who said the account was now cleared, and I got a confirmation that the total of {$52.00} was paid. Nobody had mentioned that the automatic bill pay feature was XXXX, or that I needed to make a one-time manual payment. On XX/XX/XXXX, I receive a notification from several credit card monitoring services that my credit score dropped over XXXX points!! I have always had an almost-perfect credit score, always have automatic bill pay, and have never been late. I called Kohls to inquire what had happened, and was informed that the payment of {$52.00} did not process on their end. I immediately paid the total on the app while I was on the phone with the agent, and asked them to clear this late payment from my credit reports, as this was all a misunderstading, and I had already called on XX/XX/XXXX to reverse the charge, update the checking account, and had received an update that the payment had gone through. I was told by the agent that they can not update the credit reporting agencies, and that I will just have to accept an XXXX hit to my almost-perfect credit score that I have spent decades meticulously monitoring and cultivating. If you view my credit report, you will see that I have an installment mortage account, credit cards with a long history ( oldest account was opened in XXXX - XXXX ), and I have never had a late payment and pay all of my accounts off in full every month without fail ( except the mortgage - I cant afford to pay the entire mortgage off in one month, or I wouldnt need a mortgage! ). Please help. I have already contacted Kohls ' several times, and have paid the amount in full the MOMENT I found out there was a discrepancy. This is not equitable to suffer such a large blow to my credit score all because they didn't process the payment when I updated my checking account, after receiving a notification that the payment was processing. I am the farthest thing from a credit risk.

Consumer Complaint: OK, Capital One Has a Colored Picture of my Drivers License back in XXXX or XXXX of XXXX both sides. Now they wanted my new one it's the same as the other on and has the Very Same Info and same name & address So, I tried over XXXX times to do just that! At my Bank. They claimed it was too blurry most of the time then other reasons, meanwhile, I got their bill of all FEES {$67.00} for the month of XXXX last Month I sent them {$37.00} and I Do Not owe them that payment and I can Prove that and I did so by send them a letter with my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX Bank Statements for XXXX and it shows I had made payments every Month up until their Auto-Pay with Card ending XXXX Silver Card Stopped Working Due to their ID Presintation Idea And the payments I sent them by Check from my checking Account Shows my Sign as my license is singed the same way as the check! I sent them copies of my valid licence and my EBT card as well and bank statements I had to buy a new phone and cards and sim card the old phone XXXX is Dead! And they XXXX Fix this Thing ASAP! I am Not Paying them those FEES! And I Want my {$37.00} Back I Don't owe it period! And they caused me to Lose my Way to Open my Account with the XXXX I wanted to Retire I Just turned XXXX The XXXX has my old cell # that don't work anymore so the XXXX sends me their Codes to my XXXX and now I Can't get into my own Account Because of this Screwup!!!
