I tried to notify Capital One of the issue, but the prompts they have built online on reporting issue on your statements never go through ( screenshot attached of the first step ), and when I click " View Order '' button, it brings me to XXXX login screen with some strange email address on it that is not mine. I do not have a XXXX account and have not authorized this purchase, and nobody else that I know has access to this card or the XXXX account indicated on " View Order '' section.

Consumer Complaint: I received an updated report history on my credit file from delinquent to current on one of the accounts I previously reported as inaccurate ; however, the company closed the account immediately after this occurred but did not update the credit file on the second card as requested. I have continuously asked this company to update my credit file to current so I can resume payments on the account, even offered to pay the account in full to delete the negative payment history because this is affecting my credit history in an attempt to purchase a home. I would like for the remaining account that is open to be updated to the current so I can resume payments on the account. As stated before, I was under financial hardship due to my personal bank account being compromised, and have made every attempt to resolve this issue. Per the letter that was sent back in XXXX, the company stated they were going to close these accounts ; however, again one has remained open and constantly reporting late so this is an inaccurate reporting.

Consumer Complaint: In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act Kohls/Capone acct XXXX XXXX has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C. 1681 Section 602 A. states I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C. 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. 15 U.S.C. 1666B : A creditor may not treat a payment on a credit account under open end consumer credit plan as late for any reason. I respectfully demand these alleged late violations of my rights be deleted or changed to Paid as agreed/never late. I request proof that I was notified of such alleged late payments.

Consumer Complaint: Online access changed in the last 6 months. My ID and password will not work. Requested via email to update both, however no email ever was sent. Went into the store to make payments. XX/XX/23 called the service number to get access for online, but they would not provide unless I give them a cell phone number. I provided a land line but this was not available since a text could not be sent. They confirmed who I am based on all pertinent data with date of birth, SS number, and account number. No online access was given and no statement or notification has been sent. I would love to see how much income was generated from late charges from this company.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased items from Kohls in XXXX 2023- some that I returned. There was a {$10.00} birthday voucher ( not Kohls Cash ) that I used on the transaction. I was billed back the {$10.00} after I paid my bill in full. I got mad after years of Kohls and the Kohls Cash scams and didn't deal with it as promptly as I should have ( and it was only {$10.00} ), my brother was XXXX XXXXXXXX, and I work XXXX hour weeks. This was a low priority. The {$10.00} Birthday Voucher accrued {$2.00} additional in interest- all of which I then paid. I do not have access to any of the details as I was mad and disgusted after being a 20+ year customer - so I shut down my account. ( And I was in an emotional state. ) This TANKED my excellent credit score. My credit score shows no signs of improvement after 6 months. HELP!
