Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute against Walmart for a large purchase because it was delivered to my neighbors house. They rejected this and claimed I violated their return policy and can no longer make online purchases. However, even though trying to reason with them and explain the situation, they didnt fix it. And they prevented me and other relatives who live with me from ordering online through their services. This is unfair, especially since Ive been a customer with them for more than 6 years and I have a card I can only use with them.

Issue: Closing your account
Subissue: Company closed your account
Consumer Complaint: Dear Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am writing to complain against Capital One Bank for closing my credit account in XXXX. I opened the account in XXXX as a secured credit card, and I made all of my payments on time every month. In XXXX, Capital One called me and said that there was a security alert on my account and that they needed me to verify my identity. I told them that I was on XXXX leave from work due to XXXX and that I could not go to the post office to mail them a copy of my ID. I asked if there was any other way to verify my identity, such as emailing or texting them a picture of my ID, but they refused. Capital One then closed my account, which was my longest-standing credit account. This has had a negative impact on my credit score, making it more difficult and expensive for me to borrow money. I believe that Capital One 's actions were unfair and discriminatory. They refused to allow me to verify my identity in a safe and convenient way, even though I was on XXXX leave due to XXXX I am requesting that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau investigate Capital One 's practices and take appropriate action. Thank you for your time and consideration. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Charged too much interest
Consumer Complaint: I have a quicksilver Capital one master card. I was trying to pay it off because of the high interest percentage rate. Capital one refused to give me a lower rate, even though I have never missed a payment, and have paid the card off more than once. So, I got a XXXX XXXX flex card with a XXXX percent interest rate to pay the capital one card off. It paid the card off on XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX day after my payment of {$130.00} went through. So, because XXXX XXXX did not pay the balance before the payment due date, it was an overpayment. Capital One, now says I owe another {$75.00} in interest from XX/XX/XXXX, to XX/XX/XXXX is {$75.00}. They say that my payment did not include that amount, as they are a month behind and that the interest I just got charged was for the next month. This does not sound right to me, I think I got charged an extra month that I should not be paying. I cancelled the card on either the XXXX or XXXX of XXXX. Could someone from your office please check into this matter? I do not believe what they are telling me.
