This has negatively affected my credit history and ability to pay because they take 3-5 business days to process a payment. Whereas before one could pay with debit card instantly. This has negatively affects borrowers ability to pay easily and on their schedule. It is predatory to change methods of accepted payment like that without notification.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/23, I received a notification from my XXXX account, notifying me of a new hard inquiry on my credit report. I have not applied to anything new recently, and I have no idea what caused this. I believe it said the hard inquiry was made by capital one, which is especially confusing, because I already have accounts with them, and would not need to open any more. Please help me find out what this hard inquiry was caused from and if I can get it removed ASAP, thank you!

As I checked my credit report these fraudulent account is still reflected on my credit reports. I was expecting that I can count on them to protect my information and to provide accurate credit reports. There are multiple inaccurate information on my credit report the balances, date of late payments, payment status, date of last payment, and violation under FCRA policy. Consumer Complaint: Under the FCRA capital one violated my rights under 15 USC 1681 section 602 they violated my rights to privacy. 15 USC 1681 section 604A section 2 the consumer reporting agency can not furnish my account without written instructions. 15 USC 1666B the creditor may not treat payments on my credit card account under an open end consumer credit plan as late for any purpose. This happened on my XXXX, XXXX as well as XXXX on Friday XX/XX/2023. They marked my payment as late and it had a negative impact on my credit reports and XXXX score. I called and asked them to remove the late payments from the accounts under these exact same sections under the fair credit reporting act or that I'd file a complaint and the representative told me to go ahead with my actions because they don't have to do it. I'm not sure what other documentation that I should have asked for. I would like this removed from all of my reports.

Consumer Complaint: I was working with a mortgage broker to qualify for a home mortgage. Surprisingly, my credit score was just average- but it should be nearly perfect. To my knowledge, I have never missed a credit card payment, a rent payment or a bill payment. My student loans are paid off. The mortgage broker ran a credit report, and we learned that in 2017 somebody fraudulently took out a Khols Capital One Credit Card in my name with a {$300.00} limit. The thief maxed it out immediately and a payment was never made. For 5 straight years, without my knowledge this fraud has negatively impact my credit score. This situation needs to be resolved. I am hardworking person who tries to do the right thing and supports my wife and future child. This credit situation needs to be resolved.
