Payment bank card has funds available to cover full payment. No issues with payment card or bank account. Tried directly linking bank account routing and account number, still no success. Late fees continue. Credit being hit. NO PAYMENT STILL ACCEPTED. Tried to have someone else make a a payment on my behalf, again with no success. Was told by credit card company that my bank was the issue. It is not. Was told by credit card company that they had no legal department I could speak with. Was told by XXXX XXXX XXXX that they do not give out supervisors names. Was told by credit card company that I would not be able to access the voice recordings from our conversations. Still unable to make a payment. Still accruing late fees.

Consumer Complaint: I woke up this morning around XXXX Eastern time because I had heard my phone ding. There was an email from XXXX stating that there was a new inquiry on my credit report, when I logged in there was a hard inquiry from capital one today. I have no applied for a capital one credit card and I have no submitted a request for one. I contacted XXXX and filed a dispute, I also filed one with XXXX. XXXX advised me to contact the bank Capital One. I was told by a representative that someone did try to open a card in my name and that they would decline the application due to me letting them know someone had used my social security number unknowingly. I told them that if it werent for experian emailing me and letting me know about the inquiry I wouldve never knew someone tried to get a card in my name. Especially due to me not getting an alert from capital one or anything. I do not have any accounts with capital one and I have never applied for a capital one card.

I contacted customer service on XX/XX/23 which transferred me to the fraud department where I spoke to XXXX who was located in Virginia. I stated that I received a credit card from CapitalOne that I did not apply for in the mail. I stated I wanted the account closed and removed from my credit history as I did not apply for the credit card that CapitalOne sent me in the mail. She asked for my SSN which I did not feel comfortable to share with her so she then asked for my name. Upon giving her my name she said she would look into this and proceeded to disconnect the phone call.
