Consumer Complaint: This morning at XXXX, I received a notification from XXXX XXXX that an inquiry was made in an attempt to open a credit card account in my name. I called XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX and the fraud department verified that an attempt was made. XXXX provided me with the following information : New credit card or loan. Lender : ComenityCapital/SephoraV. Inquiry date : XX/XX/2023. Verification details : Business phone : ( XXXX ) XXXX Business name : Alliance Data. I disputed the inquiry with XXXX, and they recommended that I file a police report and a fraud claim with FTC. I called Alliance as well and they said the company was unable to provide me with details regarding the credit card application ; however, they did inform me that the application was rejected. Alliance fraud department recommended that I file a police report and send the report number to their department. Once received, I would be able to find out more details about the credit card application. I filed a police report with the XXXX, AZ Police department and waiting to hear back from regarding a complaint number.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX/COMENITY/IKEAVC Account number XXXX Account type Credit card I had two marks on this account for 30 days past due. They occurred during XXXX, and I was not receiving a regular salary during the shutdown. I had been in contact with the company, and they said they understood and would work with me. I had paid off the account and requested that the two marks be cleared since I did communicate with the company when these events did occur, and secondly, I paid the account off. Mailed a XXXX letter to the company XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. I received a response from the company on XX/XX/2023 declining my request. I did not think this was fair, but I did not know what else I could do.

I was shopping at ULTA Beauty Store back in XX/XX/2023 when a sales associate asked me if I wanted to open a credit card and I mistakenly said yes and I should have read reviews first. I made a HUGE mistake signing up knowing that I'll never get the card and I never received it despite having the account number. My Account Number is XXXX They kept charging me and they DID close my account. I was checking my credit score yesterday and somehow it was showing {$130.00} for COMENITY/ULTA on my credit score which is a scam, I did NOT buy anything for {$130.00}, my account is closed. please dispute and remove this fraudulent charge from my bank account. Consumer Complaint: I asked Comenity Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for an explanation as to why when I paid the entire balance in full every month was I also being assessed interest fees. They said because the 12 month interest free account had rolling dates that required different payment dates which was shown in a separate section of the bill in small detail. However, when you add those amounts up- which I did every month- they added up to the full interest free amount I paid by the due date. In the fine print in a separate section of the bill it says that amount had to be paid by XX/XX/23 which was a month PRIOR to receiving the statement. The bill closing was XX/XX/23 - after the date in fine print- and the bill due date to avoid any interest fees was XX/XX/23 which I honored. Then in XXXX I paid the entire remaining balance to {$0.00} before the due date and received a bill for {$41.00} for interest due. So, on those three months statements ( XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ) despite paying the full amount required to avoid interest in advance of the payment due date on the statement I was charged interest of {$72.00} ( XXXX ), {$61.00} ( XXXX ) and {$41.00} ( XXXX ) for a total of {$170.00}. I asked XXXX the Comenity Bank service rep to refund these charges since I had paid the amount needed to avoid interest in full each month prior to bill due date. She declined because the fine print in the separate section of the bill said I would have had to make those payments BEFORE I ever received the bill. How would I do that? I believe this interest fee practice is at best misleading and at worst fraudulent. I believe it is designed to take advantage of consumers who believe they have paid their bills in full ( to receive interest free credit as promoted ) in order for the bank to generate additional bank revenue when in fact there has been no added expense or purchases. My request is for a full refund of the {$170.00} since I paid my bills in full or ahead of time every month upon receipt of my statement.
