Consumer Complaint: A line of credit was set up without my authorization by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX OH XXXX. I have disputed this debt multiple times with the creditor ( by phone and in writing ) and with XXXX. Each time this company removes the delinquency but then reports it again as delinquent 60 days later. They have never proven that I authorized this line of credit because I did not. XXXX has failed to get them to provide any proof that I owe this debt. I have documentation from my insurance company that they negotiated and paid the charges so I dont even owe the amount being charged ( see attachments ). They have never tried to resolve this issue with me or XXXX XXXX XXXX despite me calling and writing to dispute the account.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/24 I went for a routine Dental checkup. I was told I have soft teeth and the only thing to prevent them from chipping apart would be to crown most of them. This was over XXXX total. My insurance doesnt cover anything. I told them I would call back the next day and book my procedure. As I stated looking online I noticed the rates were higher than other places. So I decided not to proceed. Then on XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill from Alphaeon credit for over {$300.00} in interest and late fees on something I never even got done! No service was rendered. They did not call to follow up or anything, I had decided to just go to XXXX for my dental work after I get my passport.

Issue: Problem with a purchase shown on your statement
Subissue: Card was charged for something you did not purchase with the card
Consumer Complaint: I went to an Ulta on XX/XX/XXXX where they said I was pre approved for a credit card. I accepted but never received a card. Three months later, I received a notice from my bank that my credit score had decreased because of late payment all of my credit cards are on auto-pay. I called Ulta and transfered me to Comenity bank. I told them that this charge was unrecognized and that I had never even received a credit card to this day I have never received an Ulta credit card. I asked to file a dispute with and they said they would investigate. It took them three months to get back to me about the investigation, but each month in between they charged me with late fees. The mail they sent said they needed more information such as a receipt. I attempted to get a receipt from Ulta but they said too much time had passed so the receipt was not in their system. I filed a complaint with CFPB about Comenity bank not resolving a fraudulent purchase on a credit card I have never received and their response was completely irrelevant to my issue. So I am here once again to re-explain that the issue is of an unrecognized purchase that I never made on a card I never received. The card has since been cancelled but I need the fraudulent charges and late fees reported to each bureau so I can get back to my 700+ credit score, which Comenity bank has completely ruined with their negligence and terrible customer service.

Section 602, I have the right to privacy, and 15 U.S.C Section 604 A Section 2 states that a consumer reporting agency can not furnish an account without my written instructions. Issue: Fees or interest
Subissue: Problem with fees
Consumer Complaint: My credit limit was recently decreased from {$2300.00} to {$100.00}, on my XXXX XXXX acct and from {$2400.00} to {$200.00} on my New York & Co Comenity acct due to an interest non payment oversight on my New York & Co Comenity acct. of {$8.00}. I paid off my XXXX acct back on XXXX, the full statement balance of {$400.00}. On XXXX I was assessed interest of XXXX unbeknownst to me and due on XXXX. On XXXX I was assessed a late fee of {$8.00} plus minimum interest of {$1.00}, which brought my balance to {$17.00}. Again, I was unaware my acct had a balance since I paid off the account in XXXX and never used the card since. Once I received the XXXX notice I called in on XXXX to pay balance. The representative, removed the fees & took the payment of {$10.00}. Both my accounts have been in good standing for many years, payments on time as well as the rest of my debts. To say my entire credit reporting was viewed in this decision is completely untrue and false. I have had XXXX creditors double my credit limit and XXXX increased significantly just within last month due to my excellent payment history. I have also paid off XXXX balances in full. My XXXX XXXX has increased on avg XXXX in the last month across the XXXX bureaus. The decision to decrease my credit limit on the XXXX referenced accounts was solely based on the late interest payment of {$8.00} on the XXXX acct because the XXXX acct has a $ XXXX credit from overpayment. This seems like a retaliation to the complaint I filed against Comenity back in XXXX, for non refund of returned merchandise. This is an absurd business practice & completely unethical. Apparently, this has happened to many consumers of Comenity Bank as I have read many of the same complaints online. The FDIC has also issued fines for similar practices to Comenity. The only negative impact on my credit in years is now {$8.00} of unknown interest, multiple fees from Comenity bank on interest and the dual decrease in my credit limits will also adversely impact my credit score unfairly.

Issue: Trouble using your card
Subissue: Account sold or transferred to another company
Consumer Complaint: I signed up for a promo card with XXXX XXXX XXXX when buying a laptop advertised with no interest for 12 months .. on XX/XX/XXXX of this year ( 2023 ). I paid the {$1700.00} with my new XXXX XXXX Account. Shortly after, I got an email notice saying the XXXX XXXX Accounts ( which I had just signed up for ) are being transferred to another company, Comenity. Since then, I have not been able to access my account. I'm not sure who to make payments to. I have read reports online that Comenity is charging interest and not honoring the promotion. When I call comenity or try to access my account online, they say they can not find it, even when I give my SS #. It's all automated, and I've found no way to speak to a representative for the bank. According to many people online, they have experienced something similar, and have been told that Comenity will only mail account numbers to account holders, but they aren't receiving them even after multiple requests. I don't recall ever receiving my account number in the mail. They don't provide it over the phone, and regardless, they are saying they can't even find my account. XXXX XXXX XXXX tells me they no longer have access after transferring the account to Comenity.

Issue: Took or threatened to take negative or legal action
Subissue: Sued you without properly notifying you of lawsuit
Consumer Complaint: This company sued me in the state of Georgia without notifying me. I was not properly served and Georgia being the horrible state that they are let this happen. I looked up some reviews for XXXX XXXX XXXX and they are re-aging credit and falsely signing served paperwork in defendants names. I had 2 credit card accounts that are still on my credit report from the original creditor Comenity Bank. I had a contract with XXXX XXXX through Comenity and was enrolled in a program that offered account protection services. Not only did Comenity and XXXX XXXX deny these services after paying for it but they handed my bill to second round. The services was suppose to provide me relief if I involuntary lost my job through the company XXXX XXXX. I was wrongfully terminated during the time I had these accounts and I even won a lawsuit for wrongful termination. After settling the wrongful termination with my previous employer, comenity still refused to take responsibility and contact XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding my account. It's been 5 years and they still refuse to fix any damages to my credit report. They also charged hidden interest fees in which they were sued for and yes I was one of the many people who was part of the class action lawsuit with XXXX.
