Consumer Complaint: I closed my Comenity Bank XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX card in XX/XX/XXXX. Due to my account being enrolled in account assurance after my account was closed, a charge was made to my card for {$1.00}. Comenity Bank continues to harass me, claiming I owe them money on an account that has been closed for over a year. This account has been paid off multiple times ; however, I continue receiving harassing phone calls and emails stating that I owe them additional monies. This account was paid its full balance of {$65.00} on XX/XX/XXXX in an effort to resolve the matter, even though I disagreed with being continually harassed and charged fees on an account that was closed. I wanted to put this matter to bed, and yet here I am today with a {$78.00} balance, yet again, on an account that was CLOSED in XXXX. I will not pay another single solitary cent to these XXXX. There is no reason I should be harassed and continuously receive bills on a closed account. I want a refund of all monies I paid AFTER the account was closed in XXXX. I demand a refund as Comenity Bank is a bunch of XXXX with illegal practices.

My card now shows a {$530.00} balance due XX/XX/XXXX and im completely fed up with this whole situation. I would like to have this dealt with as it's been on my mind since XXXX now. I will pay the original balance before all the added on fees from my payments not being processed as long as i can be guaranteed it will go through just fine. Don't want this to affect my credit as im surprised it hasnt yet.

Consumer Complaint: I filed a previous complaint in XX/XX/XXXX ( Complaint # XXXX ) for a payment in the amt of {$6100.00} that I made on XX/XX/XXXX during the time of their " upgrade '' that they alleged was missing. I began with filing a dispute with them in XXXX and sent them the Electronic Transmittal form in their secure message system XX/XX/XXXX & the same documentation again on XX/XX/XXXX per their request. They closed the dispute on XX/XX/XXXX stating they didn't receive the documentation & then reopened the dispute on XX/XX/XXXX. We resent the same documentation again & they wanted an additional 90 days. They sent a XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX still stating they didn't have the documentation. The 60 days response to the previous complaint was due XX/XX/XXXX. I receive a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that they located the missing payment of XX/XX/XXXX in the amt of {$6100.00}. They also stated they previously credited the late fee & finance charges that were assessed in XX/XX/XXXX. However, they failed to credit the finance charges on the other 5 months up until XX/XX/XXXX. A total of {$780.00} in late & interest fees accrued however the only credit I received was {$260.00}. Total still due is {$520.00}. I spoke w/ XXXX XXXX ID XXXX ) XX/XX/XXXX who agreed the credit wasn't issue at the time the dispute resolved & provided me w/ confirmation # XXXX & stated my credit would be issues in 48-72 hrs. I called on XX/XX/XXXX to find out that on XX/XX/XXXX the credit was deleted. The total amt due on my XXXX statement is {$840.00} which is {$320.00} in new charges & XXXX in interest. I will be paying by due date of XX/XX/XXXX to avoid any further interest charges. During the 6 billing cycles following this dispute, I paid my entire balance on new charges as I have since I have been a customer, I never carry over a balance. The only charges I didn't pay was the disputed missing payment of {$6100.00} and the interest charges from XXXX XXXX XXXX and the late fee of {$30.00} in XXXX. I reached out to comenity bank to inform hem of what happened and they assured me they would take care of it. I provided the store name and number which the fraudulent activity occurred and even presented the police report information. This account was paid in full and is now showing a balance of {$90.00} along with an XXXX status. A new card was to be issued and this one was to be closed and balance returned to XXXX. I gave proof and contact information to back up my claims. They are inaccurately reporting this account as XXXX and with a balance A new card has been issued which reflects a XXXX balance.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank card hasn't been used since XXXX of XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX charges were made totaling {$330.00}. I received a XXXX XXXX Card Account Activity from XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and shortly after a bill in the mail from Comenity Bank. I have called at least 6 times in the past XXXX days ( today is XX/XX/XXXX ) with no help at all. Comenity online service options does not have an option to report fraud or to dispute charges. Being on hold for over half an hour then to have the call dropped/disconnected several time is frustrating and brings to mind a scam company with XXXX XXXX customer care '' representatives who do nothing but read from a script to verify account information and transfer the call to some XXXX XXXX department XXXX XXXX to answer calls. Comenity Bank is reporting incorrect information to credit bureaus about me I demand that these fraudulent charges removed from my credit history and close completely close the account with Comenity Bank.

In XXXX the company added on a {$2.00} fee to my account without my knowledge and didnt send me a bill for this fee instead they added late fees each month and showed my account as missed payments from XXXX - XXXX XXXX have not used this card since XX/XX/XXXX and was under the impression my account was at a {$0.00} balance. I called they agreed to waive the fees and show my account as current and never missed a payment. But now I check my credit report and they are reporting {$99.00} balance and late payments. I called back and they told me it was nothing they could do to show my payments was never missed. They falsely report my payments as late from XXXX to now. They said they balance would reflect as {$0.00} until XX/XX/XXXX 2023

It seems they have may complaints about them online. I was asked by XXXX to file a police report a report with the FTC. The FTC sent me here. THis fraudnet use of my name has now opened a small credit card account, which I had no knowledge about, and it is impacting my credit score.
