Consumer Complaint: Comenity Bank has been calling my phone everyday since I closed my acct. I had not used my lane Bryant but their new policy is to charge {$2.00} a month. When I seen that I just closed my acct because I dont use the card and it has racked up late fees from then charging {$2.00} as well as interest. I was never notified. I have asked them to stop calling. They called back to back and when I answer there is no one on the line and when I finally do speak to someone theyll act clueless. They are the only company calling so Im sure after calling several times in the morning Im receiving unknown calls in the afternoon. I answered one and the call was disconnected then seconds later they were calling again. I didnt list dates because this had literally been everyday for the last month weekends and XXXX included.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for months to receive a statement from the company. I've called and I've emailed, but still no statement. My last statement was in XXXX of XXXX and we're now going in XXXX of XXXX. I recently receive a letter stating enclosed was my statement, but no statement was included in the envelope. Basically I'm paying blindly with no information whatsoever. I need to be able to see my statements, either online or have them mailed to me. I was told that the statement would be available for XXXX and when I just checked, again the site is only showing my last statement which is again XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I received notification from XXXX XXXX that an account had reported me 30 days late on payment. Research indicated that this came from Comenity Bank, an account that I was not familiar with. It turned out that it was for XXXX. As I had paid off my off the remaining balance on XX/XX/XXXX, I was surprised as well as confused. I logged on to my account and noted charges for XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX for {$2.00} ( XXXX ), {$6.00} and {$14.00}. When I contacted the company, they told me it was for interest. I asked them to explain how when I paid the " remaining balance '' of my account that it did not include the {$2.00} interest on XX/XX/XXXX and so on. They tried to attribute it to when the payment is made, versus the time that it takes for the bank to process the payment. They remain adamant that the money is still owed.

Issue: Problem when making payments
Subissue: You never received your bill or did not know a payment was due
Consumer Complaint: I made a payment using the XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022. I usually do not use this card ( prior payment to that was at least a year ago ). I was not aware that the contact information for the store credit card is different from the XXXX website where you place orders for products. This is complicated by the fact that I no longer check the old email address and also moved to another state and do not receive any paper mail from them. Thus I was not aware that I had a late payment. However, it was not until at least 2 months after the initial payment day that I receive a notification from XXXX XXXX that XXXX noted I had a late payment. From my history, I had a strong credit of XXXX mostly due to paying bills on time or earlier. It wasn't until I noticed that there was a +60-day late payment for the XXXX XXXX. Had I known about this earlier, I would have made the payment earlier or changed my contact information. I have already paid off the balance that includes 2 late fees. I called customer service who said they can provide a late fee waiver. However, I still can not see this on my end so I am not sure if they applied it. They do not even have an option to email me proof of this. Finally, despite using the correct password multiple times, I can not log in to the website to make payments which I have also noticed in the past. The website and many other online users state that there persistently have been issues with logging in and reaching customer service, making it very very difficult to make payments on time. As a result of the late payment which is very rare for me, my credit score dropped from mid-700s to high 600s, which is very disappointing given one blip that I was not aware of.
