Consumer Complaint: XXXX bank said I had a charge of {$20.00} that the payment was late. I called them to dispute the item and they kept giving me the runaround. I had no issue paying it but nobody seem to help they charged me a late fee of {$25.00} which brought the leap payment now or {$45.00}. I paid the item and they keep giving me a run around about the different dispute. Put a late payment on my credit report for 2 months. when I have excellent credit and no debts I want those late payments removed. I dont know what to do anymore

Consumer Complaint: I paid my bill in full to Comenity- Victoria Secret XXXX XXXX before the due date through my XXXX XXXX XXXX TD Bank. They didn't receive the payment. I received another bill from them in XXXX. I have not made any charges to this account since the XXXX time purchase in XXXX. I was directed to their website to upload proof of payment. I have done that. I gave documentation that the bill was paid to them and that they had it. Finally, I had my bank stop payment and reissue the payment since they couldn't figure it out. They have been charging me interest and late fees now totaling {$140.00} on a bill that was paid in full and on time. Please note that Comenity-Victoria Secret had an mailing address change. However, Comenity- J.Crew had the same change and I incurred no problem with having my payment debited. I requested my credit card closed and they have done that except they are still requiring payment for the {$140.00}. Comenity-Victoria Secret 's practices are predatory and fraudulent. I should not be penalized for their inability to find a payment that was made to them.

Consumer Complaint: I called Comenity Bank at the end of XXXX about fraudulent charges on my account. They transferred the account to a new account and sent me a new card. I noticed on XX/XX/XXXX that I had not received the card. I called Comenity Bank, and they said I should have received the card by now. The representative said she had to ask me some security questions. She asked me for a previous address, and I got the wrong zip code. I asked for a supervisor, and she asked more questions, and she said I needed to send in some documents to have a card sent to me. I wondered why they didn't ask for records or questions when I called in to transfer the card.

Consumer Complaint: I'm writing to you after reading over The Cares Act provision and seeking forgiveness based on its policy. I noticed that my most recent credit report contains a late payment reported in XX/XX/2023 on ComenityBank/XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX. I want you to know that I understand, and have great respect for my financial obligations. Unfortunately, at the time of the incident mentioned above, I, myself and my wife both were shamefully fighting XXXX. Per a call with a rep of ComenityBankXXXX and in a great attempt to maintain my financial responsibility, I was under the impression that I qualified for a deferment plan. Nothing mattered more to me than keeping my relationship and credit worthiness intact. So I expressed great concerns about the possible cons of opting into such a program. I was assured on a recorded call that all shall be well as long as I operated within the guidelines, in which I did. Sometime later I was alerted by one of my credit monitoring services that this account was flagged as 30 days late. I immediately called in and satisfied my balance. Aside from this unforeseen and unavoidable circumstance, you will see that I have excellent payment record.This has been really challenging to my credit worthiness and stressing for quite some time now. Because I felt so betrayed by this creditor, it took me a while to use this card again. Now, I ask for your mercy under The Cares Act amendment. I understand that this is only something you can rectify. I am planning on refinancing my home and it has come to my attention that the missed payment on my credit reports is hurting my ability to qualify. In my heart, I know that the missed payment doesn't reflect my solvency. I am humbly asking for you to give me a second chance by making a goodwill adjustment to remove the late payment on XX/XX/2023 from my credit reports. As I understand it, you can do so in just a few minutes of your time. I would greatly it. Thank you for your consideration. Have a blessed day!

Consumer Complaint: The XXXX XXXX has been notified of the issue I'm having with the Doctor I've given them the info of dental board complaint case number that being said I told them I didn't receive all services by this doctor but this company hasn't closed this account yet give me a balance due of {$1200.00} now it magically jumped to {$1900.00} ... .instead they are riding out time so they can keep charging me even though they said they would but it on a hold so not to have recurring fee but they adding fees to a bill which they admitted I've paid the doctor off already..but this doctor didn't do what he was Ethically Required to do I have given this company all the information and all the complaintBut they continue to stall so that they can make late fees and add money to this account instead of closing it outMind you I closed the account out once I had trouble with the doctor which was right away

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX of XXXX I ordered a pair of boots from your website that resulted in a charge of {$85.00} on my XXXX XXXX account ( # XXXX ). The boot did not fit and was promptly returned. I received an email confirmation indicating the return had been processed. Since I received the confirmation, I did not pay the bill that was due on XX/XX/XXXX. As a consistent online shopper, the return confirmation issues a credit that erases the bill. I received a bill due on XX/XX/XXXX indicating a credit of {$68.00}, a return fee of {$10.00}, and a late fee of {$30.00} plus an interest charge. I called multiple times ( I was hung up on by two different associates ) and while transferred to multiple people with no resolve. While I have issue with the return fee, Im willing to pay it since it is apparently a new policy of yours. I was told that I would be credited the late fee. Ive since received a bill that was due on XX/XX/XXXX with an additional late fee of {$37.00} late fee and additional interest.

Consumer Complaint: For the last 5 months they are posting my payments XXXX XXXX to XXXX weeks after I have paid them so I occur a late fee!!! I have attached the examples : On XX/XX/XXXX my balance was XXXX due XX/XX/XXXX I paid XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX They never rcvd and posted it on XX/XX/XXXX statement, thus I was charged a late fee plus interest. On XX/XX/XXXX my balance is now XXXX with added late fee and interest. I call and they said they will refund me late fee so all I owed was an additional XXXX, though it didn't make sense I paid that amount. On XX/XX/XXXX my balance is XXXX with a refunded late fee and a new late fee charge and now it's XXXX. I made a payment XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX it was due on XX/XX/XXXX... again they posted XX/XX/XXXX. They called me and I then paid an additional XXXX. Called them again to try and resolve this because I bought 1 item for XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. I asked them what is my final balance on XX/XX/XXXX they said XXXX which i gave them over the phone and I told them to close my account. well that posted late and my balance is XXXX. All I am doing is paying late fees and interest!!!! I can never get ahead!! Please Help me!!!!! It is not reasonable to post payments so late so that I incur this late fee every month. I don't PAY LATE!!!

Consumer Complaint: The Kay Jewlers credit card has a balance that included a promotional, zero interest balance until XX/XX/. I called before my due date and made a payment to fully pay this balance off. The due date came and I called again to make another payment towards the principal, non-promotional balance and found out they did not apply my first payment towards the zero-interest promotional balance and instead applied it to my minimum payment. This means I paid interest of 29.99 % on my promotional balance AND 29.99 % on my principal balance. When I questioned why they didnt apply my payments as I requested the representative changed their answer multiple times. First she said it was because my minimum payment was due ( this is untrue because I called BEFORE my due date ), then she said to apply any payments towards my promotional balance I needed to submit this in writing ( also untrue according to the terms ), finally she said they would escalate and respond. I never heard back from them. Next thing I know I have a late payment indication on my credit report. I called again and they gave me the same run around. I have disputed this with my credit reporting app and no one has been able to address the fact that I have them money, told them how to apply it and they didnt follow interruptions and did what they wanted with my money. It is the principle of the fact.
