Consumer Complaint: I paid the debt for Ann Taylor XX/XX/2020 received a call this morning from XXXX a phone number registered in XXXX XXXX, VA to call XXXX regarding a complaint # XXXX. I called XXXX and this number is no longer in business. I called XXXX and was threatened with a law suit from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX. First he said he mailed a letter to my current address on XX/XX/XXXX. Then he said he mailed a letter to my old address from the XXXX 's. He said I will be sued in court. I called XXXX XXXX XXXX and they said they do not have a location at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called Ann Taylor credit card and they no longer have a credit card for me and it is showing as paid. The Supervisor said this is a scam and to report the caller. I have records of my paid receipt.

Consumer Complaint: I recently opened this card. I had been making payments online and experiencing issues logging into their website. My XXXX payment was a few days late and the card company called me multiple times without leaving messages throughout the day. I was upset at the incessant calls with no urgency to leave me a message so I shot off the payment online and a message to their customer care on XX/XX/2023. I titled the message Stop Calling me and put in the body of the email that they should try to ensure that their payment systems online were more dependable. I never indicated that this was a cease and desist and I never would have sent the message at all if I had known that the company would take the extreme measures that they have and actually place this irremovable mark on my account without even confirming with me that was what I asked for. As a result, the company will not allow me to use the credit and will not remove the hold. They are not accepting responsibility for the rash decision that their employee made in assuming that I would want my entire account turned off by what I titled a quick email. I acknowledge that I was upset and should have refrained from sending the communication but the response from Comenity is far more irrational that my own irritated response. In fact, they want me to close the account and reapply which will adversely affect my credit score. This is unacceptable to me.

Contacted bank by phone they kept asking for an account XXXX after explaining why I was calling was finally told they couldnt help me. This has brought my credit score down. Consumer Complaint: My XXXX XXXX card used to be with XXXX XXXX XXXX. Comenity Bank apparently bought my card and XXXX XXXX XXXX transferred my information to them. I never received a new credit card. I never received new statements until now. Comenity cancelled my AutoPay and caused my account to fall into delinquency. Comenity has charged me hundreds of interest and late fees. This is not right. I have paid my principal balance now that I managed to register for an online account.

Consumer Complaint: Stopped by XXXX XXXX XX/XX/22 purchased a ring, opening up an account with Comenity Bank, was given 3 option to finance. I chose the 6mos same as cash option with the understanding that it was no cash as lobby as I pay it off within 6 months I won't have any interest. I received my card a month later and tried to set up an account online but couldn't, it didn't recognize my social security number so I figured I'd give it some time since I had 6 months anyway. Didn't have a phone for a few months but when I got one I received threatening phone calls from comenity bank reps. So, I look at my credit report and they gave marked me delinquent XX/XX/22, XX/XX/22, XX/XX/22 & XX/XX/22. That is not accurate and I would like that fixed and my late fees refunded. I pay my bills on time and don't appreciate this treatment.
