The Congress makes the following findings : There is a need to insure that consumer reporting agencies exercise their grave responsibilities with fairness, impartiality, and a respect for the consumers right to privacy. Consumer Complaint: Comenitybank/XXXX is reporting a charged off account on my reports that I have been disputing for a while now. I sent them a letter on XX/XX/2023 requesting validation of this debt and I have not heard anything back. Per the FCRA, the consumer reporting agencies have 30 days to complete their investigation in receipt of my dispute. It has been well past 30 days and have not received any type of communication back. How are they able to report this account on my credit reports as valid when they have not responded or provided any valid proof to me? I am requesting that this account is deleted from my reports as they are in violation of my rights as a consumer to have accurate and valid information on my credit reports and right to dispute!

Consumer Complaint: I am writing this complaint bacause I have been charged extremely high interest all of a sudden on the expiration of an 18 months promo. This is unheard of to me and I was not informed of any such condition by the sales rep at XXXXXXXX XXXXr upfront when I signed up for a credit card. It was presented to me as a 18 months promo with no interest. Given the misleading info I was given, it is my request to have COMENITY waive off the huge ridiculous amount of interest charge {$2400.00}. I have already called customer service XX/XX/23 and paid off in full the promotional balance of {$2800.00} that I actually owed. Please waive off unjust interest charges at your earliest convenience, There is no way I can pay that high all of a sudden interest amount of {$2400.00} when it was not informed to me when I signed up with Comenity Acct number ends in XXXX

I went once and the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The XXXX told me that he was not going to take that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They are holding me XXXX and have ruined my credit. My credit was extraordinary and my XXXX score his drop XXXX points and I got a terrible XXXX and the XXXX prescribed a XXXX instead of the XXXX that I was supposed to have. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I would never go back there. I saw the non closure. And I was to oh nothing but they are charging me {$4400.00} and will not help. Consumer Complaint: A Victoria SecreXXXX Credit Card was reported stolen by perpetrator. This person called into Victoria 's Secret CC ( Comenity Bank ), changed my address, & email & had a card reissued to the address they provided once the card was physically received, they made purchases in person at Victoria 's Secret and their affiliate store, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. According to VS FRAUD Dept, they were able to verify my DOB & last 4 of social in order to commit these fraudulent transactions. These transactions amounted to {$1600.00} ; they are 3 different transactions in the month of XX/XX/2023. I have opened a case today with Victoria 's Secret CC bank, Comenity ( no case # has been assigned yet ) & a police report with XXXX Police Department.
