Consumer Complaint: I wrote this company ComenitycapXXXX and asked them to do an investigation and correct their records. This letter was sent out XX/XX/2022. Today is XX/XX/XXXX and there has been no investigation or attempt to correct their records. Enclosed I will show pictures of the letter sent XX/XX/2022 along with a picture of the certified mail receipt. I am also enclosing pictures of my credit report obtained more than 30 days after they received the letter to investigate and validate the debt. You can see the errors across the reports when it comes to the dates of last activity and payment history etc. This has impacted me and changed my life severely. In the letter I stated that if no action was taken in a timely manner that I would be contacting the cfpb and still no validation of the debt after over 5 months. This is a complete violation of the fair credit reporting act and the FDCPA.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I sent XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX letters asking them to investigate and verify my debt on my credit report just to make sure the names, amounts, dates and everything else involved with the accounts were accurate. I have received the credit bureaus responses and uploaded them to this case. They have stated that everything is verified and correct, and validated correctly, however, my credit report is still showing inaccuracies and inconsistencies. I have highlighted all of the inaccuracies by circling the account name and underlining the inaccuracies and inconsistencies in RED pen. You will be able to see my credit report from before and after their updated reports to show as proof that it is still showing inconsistencies and inaccuracies. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act 15 U.S.C. 1681s- ( A ) ( 1 ), the following accounts have violated my rights, which states that " A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Consumer Complaint: I received an unsolicited Visa Signature credit card from XXXX with a credit limit of {$5200.00}. I did not ask for it, and neither did my wife. I'm sure they checked my credit report before sending it to me, which negatively impacts my credit score. I called them to cancel the card, and told them that I would be reporting this to you guys. They said they couldn't cancel the card without me providing them my home address and last four of my Social Security number. I don't want to give these people ANY more of my personal information. I provided them the card number that they sent to me, and the city that I live in, but they said they could not cancel the card without verifying the full address. I'd like to file a complaint with you about their illegal and unethical business practices, and let you know that I have shredded the card and all accompanying material.

Consumer Complaint: Comenity bank dental finance. Is refusing to put current on my credit report. After I made payments to get it current. They had always updated my credit report current when I would make my account current but they haven't updated anything in the past 3 months. This isn't fair to me when I'm making my payments on time and keeping them current. They're not doing their job in updating my current status and reporting the payments that I have made.

Consumer Complaint: I tried to make a purchase today using my store credit card account. The transaction was declined, and the store called the credit card company on my behalf to inquire. They said that since I hadnt used my card in a long time, the account was closed. The only solution they offered was for me to apply for a new card. I dont recall receiving a notification that my account would be closed. The bank is still reporting it as an account in good standing on my credit report. It seems like theyre treating it as open and closed at the same time.
