Consumer Complaint: I applied for a credit card through XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2022 and was approved and used that approval to purchase shoes for my daughter. Since then I have never received a statement or my credit card from the company. They now have my account listed as delinquent on my credit report but show that I made my first two payments on time with no change to the amount owed. I'm not denying that the account is mine, however, I am staying that my account can not be delinquent after making 2 payments on time when I have never made a payment because the company has never sent me a statement. My credit card isn't even activated because I have never received one. I want my account updated to current and all late fees removed due to it being the company 's fault that I have not paid on the account. Once they send me my card and my statement I will pay the balance without late fees in full.

Consumer Complaint: I opened a Victoria Secret credit card XX/XX/XXXX, and fully paid the principal as well as all late fees XX/XX/XXXX. The bank decided to wait to put this towards my balance until the day after another late fee was issued. After {$340.00} in late fees ( which was over double what my account limit was which was a {$100.00} spending limit ) it was sent to XXXX XXXX agency. Comenity bank says they have no access to any payments that were ever made and XXXX says that only the bank has access to my payments and amounts. The collection agency was sold this account on XX/XX/XXXX, yet did not report it to my credit until XX/XX/XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: A former friend of mine mislead me and used my private information to take out a loan at XXXX XXXX & open a credit card in my name at XXXX in XX/XX/2023. I was not at XXXX in person to authorize this yet it was still approved. They had access to my email along with other personal info. {$7000.00} at XXXX & {$6000.00} at XXXX XXXX. I spoke with a supervisor at XXXX XXXX but they are not being helpful. I disputed on my credit report but both were denied. This has been causing me mental distress and I really need this resolved. Consumer Complaint: I received my Sony/Comenity Bank XX/XX/XXXX statement, which showed a balance due of {$1100.00}. I always pay my balance due IN FULL and on XX/XX/XXXX I paid this balance online, from my primary checking account and THE PAYMENT WAS TRANSMITTED to Comenity Bank, as reflected on my XX/XX/XXXX bank statement. When I received my XX/XX/XXXX statement, it showed a previous balance due of {$1100.00}, which I knew to be incorrect, as the payment had been transmitted by my bank to Comenity bank, as was my custom and practice. After researching everything and confirming payment had been sent, in a timely manner, I contacted Comenity by phone and spoke with an Account Specialist named XXXX and was given a reference XXXX XXXX She told me due to a system upgrade, payments had not posted properly. I assumed that they would follow up on my complaint, find my payment and resolve the issue. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. When I received my XX/XX/XXXX statement it continued to show the PAST DUE BALANCE, which was accruing interest and late penalties. I called customer service AGAIN and was told to provide them with the Trace ID number from my bank, for the payment transfer from my bank, which I did, that number is : XXXX Despite my documentation and repeated efforts, I continue to receive statements that show a balance forward, which includes the misappropriated payment, plus accrued interest and penalties. Frustrated that this wasnt getting corrected, on XX/XX/XXXX I sent a letter to the company detailing the issue, my unsuccessful efforts to correct the problem, provided DOCUMENTATION ( bank statement showing the payment, tracing documents showing the transfer to Comenity with internal tracking numbers. On XX/XX/XXXX Comenity responded, by mail, acknowledging receipt of my claim, assuring me that they were researching it. It said to allow them 90 days to complete their investigation, which Ive done. Ive waited patiently for this to be resolved, but every month I receive a statement reflecting the outstanding balance, with accrued interest. Ive contacted them repeatedly by phone, expressing my concerns about this being reported to the credit reporting agencies, negatively impacting my superb credit history and they have repeatedly assured me it isnt being reported. I just received my XX/XX/XXXX statement, which continues to show a previous balance due of {$1400.00}, which consists of my original charges/payment of {$1100.00} XXXX {$360.00} in interest and penalties. This has gone on for more than 8 months now. Ive given them PROOF OF PAYMENT, theyve had my money since XX/XX/XXXX and this needs to be resolved ASAP, so I can close this account and be done with this company!!

Consumer Complaint: I opened up a dispute with this company and they sent you a letter back for me and I called the fraud dept and spoke with a nice lady and she transferred me over to a very rude not helpful man who refused to help me and told me that even though they have me in the system under a different address and other different information, they can not help me because the address is not the address they have on file. I explained to him that the letter ( attached on this complaint ) has my real address and I have NEVER lived anywhere else besides XXXX XXXX XXXX for the last 11 years and before that I lived at XXXX XXXX XXXX and he still refused to assist me. I asked for a signature stating that I authorized this credit card. I am totally confused and feel totally disrespected. The point is it is totally takiing a toll on my life and credit. I am XXXX XXXX XXXX and want to move into a retirement home and I promise I have never been late for anything or not paid on a bill that is truly mine.

Consumer Complaint: I had a credit card through Ulta Beauty, they use Commenity Bank for their credit card. I had applied at the store and used credit for about {$120.00} on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. I never received anything from the bank after that or a card for Ulta Beauty. I was not able to settle my balance because I didn't have access to an account. XX/XX/XXXX comes, and I start receiving phone calls from an odd number who claims they are Commenity Bank and that I own them money. I had never heard of the bank before, so I thought it was a scam and I ignored it. I eventually answer the calls and speak with an employee from Commenity Bank, who through a lot of confusion and questions, I figure out is the bank responsible for my card at Ulta. They inform me of the money I owe, and I settle my payment on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, Commenity/Ulta reports that I have a balance still on the card and that I have missed 4 payments, when I have already settled my card. I spoke with the employee and she cleared the payments from my account and I asked her to close my account. My complaint is that my credit score has gone down significantly due to this misunderstanding. Commenity to my knowledge has put in an effort to get this corrected, but I have not seen any remedy to my credit score, so I am submitting a formal complaint on my own behalf.

Consumer Complaint: My complaint is with XXXX XXXX XXXX and Comenity Bank. I have disputed this issue more than once with both companies and not received as response as to why my information is not valid. There is an account that recently reappeared on my credit report. It is listed as XXXXComenity Bank XXXX The account shows as : Charge-off status update - XX/XX/XXXX Charge Off Amount - {$580.00} This account was charged-off to the company XXXX XXXX XXXX. My problem is that I settled this account in XXXX of XXXX. I paid a settlement amount of {$370.00}. This information does not reflect on the credit report. Another problem is that the credit report status has not been updated since XXXX of XXXX. Another problem is the charge-off company ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX not even listed on the credit report. I have submitted 5 different disputes with XXXX and 2 separate disputes with the XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have provided documentation and when all of these disputes were closed I never received an explanation as to why my information was not adequate.
