Consumer Complaint: I used my brand new credit card from bread cash back American Express to rent a vehicle with XXXX rent a car everything went fine i was billed from XXXX on That card with no problem. A few weeks later in XXXX I get an additional charge of almost {$1100.00} on my Bread cashback card from XXXX I immediately called XXXX they didnt have any record or even understand why I had an additional charge on my card I had to send them info to prove the charge was on my card I then called back bread cash back American Express to tell them this was a fraudulent charge and they said they would look into it I even got a few letters from American Express telling me to be patient they are working on it but as of today XX/XX/2023 and it is still on my account this fraudulent charge occurred on XX/XX/2023 I alerted both companies it was fraudulent charge within a weeks time of that fraudulent charge I dont understand why I am not being helped in this matter by American Express for a fraudulent charge against my account please help Ive spent well over 3 hours on the phone with American Express to no avail. I need help!

Consumer Complaint: I co-signed a card for a friend who was getting {$3400.00} to have XXXX XXXX XXXX. it was a line of credit for medical expense. The person who was making the payment was locked out of her account online and she tried, has several emails back and forth trying to fix that problem. She started paying over the phone because they do not send statements and she has no emails from them. I do not get anything. I found out my credit score went down by more than XXXX points because they reported me for not paying. Although i was a co-signer, i was never given any notification whatsoever that this was going into collection. My credit report shows a collection. When i called the company i found out it is not in collections. HOwever, the statement on this account shows {$2500.00} due. When i called and on my credit report, it shows {$5600.00}. They hung up on me when i wanted a printout of how they added this much to the balance and is it legal for them to ruin my credit without giving me an opportunity to fix it or pay?

Consumer Complaint: Comentity Bank stated I had 3 credit cards New York and Company, Ann Taylor and Victoria Secret. I did have a VS card several years ago that was paid in full with another bank. This company is illegally sending me text messages to my cell phone using a collection company. I sent a letter to the collection company via email attaching police reports. I told the company representing the bank to stop texting me in my email and they just sent another text this am about New York and Company. I Blocked their number but they continue harassing me for old debt that I don't owe. I sent letters and police reports to the bank directly back in XXXX. They still reported me to the credit bureaus and have not stopped. They just keep changing collection companies that have never notified me after I worked with the bank to remove this fraudulent debt. To be candid if consumers did not have your company to help people like myself I believe these kind of issues would never end. It's unfair and has really destroyed my life credit wise.

Comenity Bank was acquired by Bread Financial. They started to bill the late fee plus interest, even after I closed the account. I sent 3 messages about this. They call me day and night3 times this week while on vacationasleep in our hotel. Texting. Its harassment. I do not owe the late fee plus interest : {$46.00} I suffer migraines at age XXXX. I need my sleep. Please make them stop. The fee was excused!!!

Consumer Complaint: I initially submitted a complaint against this Wafair, Comenity Bank, CFPB # XXXX, I was not satisfied with the results and their service, so I paid off the account as soon I could. XX/XX/XXXX, closing statement date showed a new balance of {$570.00} with a minimum balance of {$30.00}, stating, " Mailed payments must reach us by XXXX XXXX ET. '' On XX/XX/XXXX, Wayfair Comenity Bank received my payment of {$570.00}, continued to charge me a finance charge of {$7.00}, and continued to charge another for the next two months. Each time I received a statement, I made several attempts to resolve this and was passed on from their new financial institution XXXX, back to Comeneity, who claimed they could not credit my account since it was closed! Please bot the referenced complaint above Comenity chose to close my account when it was in good standing! Each month I fought to have them remove the fees and was told it would be resolved, and when I asked for documentation, I received none. In XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for a HELOC loan with XXXX XXXX and was declined both times due to these recent past-due delinquencies. I received a vague letter from Comenity apologizing and claiming to fix the error, but no mention of what error. Comenity Bank insulted me by sending check # XXXX dated XXXX for over {$2.00} to credit me for the interest I overpaid. I have also attempted to dispute this thru XXXX, but they do not contact the creditor, only suggesting that I write a statement explaining my side, which is XXXX Someone needs to hold both companies accountable! I've given XXXX more than enough information to overturn this decision, and they updated the inaccurate delinquency from 2 30 days late to 60!!! My creditworthiness is ruined! I have NO delinquencies or past due accounts on my credit except for this inaccurate reporting!
