Consumer Complaint: A payment of {$500.00} was made to Bank of America ( BAC ) credit cards on XX/XX/XXXX. This information has not been correctly reported to the credit card bureaus and has caused a negative impact on my credit scores and credit with other creditors. BAC has reported to the credit bureaus that I did not make a payment in XX/XX/XXXX and that I was 30 days late in XX/XX/XXXX. I am attaching proof from my bank that BAC received a {$500.00} payment on XX/XX/XXXX which posted XX/XX/XXXX. I have tried to dispute the incorrectly reported information with the credit bureaus and with BAC directly. In response to a previously filed complaint, XXXX, BAC sent me a billing statement from XX/XX/XXXX ( wrong year- see attachment ) when I asked for a written acknowledgment of the {$500.00} payment they received for XX/XX/XXXX. BAC has not provided information to me showing they correctly reported my XX/XX/XXXX payment of {$500.00} as they are obliged to do by federal credit reporting regulations. I was told by BAC that they reported my XX/XX/XXXX payment to the credit bureaus but the dispute report ( XXXX ) I received from XXXX shows they received incorrect payment information on XX/XX/XXXX from BAC showing a last payment date of XX/XX/XXXX for the XX/XX/XXXX statement closing date ( see attachments ). When questioned during a call on XX/XX/XXXX, BAC representative XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Resolution XXXX Regulatory Complaints, alleges XXXX is not reporting correct information sent to them from BAC. She verbally acknowledged my {$500.00} payment was received on XX/XX/XXXX but did not include that payment acknowledgement in her complaint response letter nor provided statements for the questioned time period showing that payment. I have attached online BAC payment information showing the XX/XX/XXXX payment of {$500.00} was received by BAC. This complaint is stating that BAC did an incomplete investigation of my previous complaint, provided documentation from the wrong year and month ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and not from XX/XX/XXXX, and did not act to resolve its reporting errors causing further harm and distress to me and damage to my credit.

I was notified that I can not reopen an account with them without any reason for explanation, and arbitrarily closing my account, where at no time is any irregular action present. It was reversed but has not showed up on my account. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, at exactly XXXX pm, I used a Bank of America ATM at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, NV XXXX. The ATM ID number is XXXX. I attempted to deposit {$2800.00} cash into the ATM. It processed and said, " Is this amount correct? '' I clicked confirm, then it said " processing transaction ''. The circle spun for about XXXX minutes trying to process until the ATM said " Transaction canceled '', spit out my card, kept my money, then returned to the home screen as if nothing happened. I never got a receipt, and the money was never deposited into my account. I filed a claim with Bank of America and as of today, XX/XX/XXXX, they still have not issued me my money. They keep giving me the run around etc. That money is the rent money that I need for XX/XX/XXXX rent, along with other bills. I have a pregnant wife and baby on the way. We are a single-income family and I currently can not pay my bills. I do not have time to wait for Bank of America anymore and need assistance with this issue.

Consumer Complaint: I have been going through financial hardship for sometime since the pandemic. I have been struggling to the point where today, XX/XX/XXXX I called my credit card company, Bank of America to ask for forbearance on my credit card payments. I asked if they would suspend my payments for approximately six months or less. I have decided to place my apartment on the market for sale. Actually its been already on the market for a few months, but because interest rates are so high, sales have been slow. I am also offering my apartment for rent. My apartment has substantial equity in it and I would have no trouble paying them back which I explained to them. Unfortunately they flat out rejected my requests. I am XXXX XXXX years of age and they are obviously discriminating against me because of my age in violation of part B of the ECOA Law. On their website that I have been using for sometime, there is a section on payment assistance which I will attach, It says WE ARE HERE TO HELP IF YOU NEED PAYMENT ASSISTANCE.Notice on this document there is no option to send a message, only to call, which means Bank of America wants nothing in writing. Bank of America is not here to help especially is one is a XXXX XXXX year old woman. I unequivocally state that I have had a relationship with Bank of America since I first took out a HELOC loan from them on or about in XXXX. Then I opened some credit card accounts at their urging. I have never been late on my payments to them. Bank of America claims I had one thirty day late in XXXX which I disputed. The fact is in my entire life other than this incorrect thirty day late I never had a blemish on my entire credit reports ever. For them to deny me a short forbearance period is discriminatory and disgusting especially for a valued customer that they insist I am.

Consumer Complaint: I got an email from Bank of America to confirm my email address. I haven't contacted the bank before so I called them. It turned out that someone has set up a bank account with them and applied for a credit card under my name using my address, social security number, but their own phone number. I have requested for them to mark it as fraud and close the account. I also have frozen my credit with all the Credit Bureaus.
