Consumer Complaint: My acct was hacked with my actual acct number on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told they would close it out after everything cleared. They told me to go open a new acct at the bank. So my husband an i went and opened a new acct. I ask the guy what happens to the money that was taken an the money i have in the acct. He said after everything clears it will go in my open acct. So on XX/XX/XXXX i called an ask why i owed XXXX something to a closed acct. They said its not closed. Now they have been hitting me with fees every month on a acct thats supposed to be closed so i said i want all my money back an take that money u said i owe off i had to get a supervisor who said he t Put back all the fees and money well he didnt. Now again i owe more money on XX/XX/XXXX so i called again and the fraud department said they would take care of this. So yesterday XX/XX/XXXX my husband got paid and he works in XXXX an needed gas he got declined hes beyond XXXX. I call and get XXXX an i told her im sick of this an she said i need to talk to your husband now granted we did the same thing last month and he told them to talk to me for anything she would not help so i hung up and called back this guy said we cant take the fraud pertection off his card. Ive never heard of this its my acct and noone is helping on this closed acct. I have had nothing but problems bouning stuff an its all on bill pay please help us i cant take this bank i need this all fixed an the money they owe me so i can close out an go to my other bank. This bank i have never had this kind of problems. Its also the credit card to. I dont have the acct number for this closed acct

Consumer Complaint: I had an account with BofA that was compromised. I notified the bank immediately and they froze that account then had me open another. Well the account that was compromised had been force closed per my statement dated XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX. On page 1 of 4 on the statement it states, XXXX XXXX. However on page 3 of 4 dated XX/XX/XXXX under deposits it says, FORCE CLOSE ACCOUNT XXXX XXXXXXXXNow below that dated XX/XX/XXXX on withdrawals it says, FUNDS TRANSFER DEBIT XXXX XXXXXXXX. Bank of America is saying I owe them and they are crazy. On another statement that says, FORCE CLOSE ON XX/XX/XXXX it states $ XXXX. So who owes who? Not to mention they placed me in XXXX so Im stuck with them.

Consumer Complaint: CFPB closed the complaint filed by me related to a Civil case filed by me Case # XXXX. They are avoiding providing information about the discrepancy in the card statements and value provided in their website. CFPB seems to be working hand in glove with Bank of America in this corruption. This is the second time CFPB has closed the complaint based on its discretion. Please forward the case filed to Bank of America without closing it on your own discretion. Bank of America hasn't provided a clear explanation for {$1.00} deposited into my account in XXXX. They have closed the previous CFPB case and provided a resolution letter without a writing anything about {$1.00}. I have opened a California Civil rights case in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and this is related to that Case # XXXX I request clear explanation from Bank of America about {$1.00}. They have deposited another {$0.00} into my account again. ===================== I had opened a CFPB case XXXX with information. Bank of America closed that even after i provided valid data. I opened XXXX which was closed by CFPB. I am opening a new case and attaching the data. I have already shared the password with Bank of America. When I tried to check for any discrepancies in the Bank of America credit card account. The actual balance as per XXXX XXXX statement is XXXX but I notice an extra amount of {$1.00} when I calculate difference between all purchases and all payments. I am attaching the spread sheet that explains the discrepancy. On Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XX/XX/XXXXXXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX wrote : Respected Officials, After i replied, there was a XXXX cent deposit into my account today morning. I need proper data about where this interest is coming from and without that i request Bank of America from avoiding resolution to the cases. When a deposit is made, there must be a reference to dispute it is related to. If there is market manipulation in XXXX or USA or any other country that had insiders information about this, it must be investigated. I have an FTC case open XXXX. If Bank of America says that they provided a temporary credit for a dispute, until the dispute is resolved, then why should they charge interest on the expense being disputed. If they indeed received an interest from the merchant then the interest must goto Bank of America. That is the reason i opened the cases and issued refunds. If they claim to provide temporary resolution and gave me the amount disputed then they must not charge an interest on that. To make me sift through their bank statements and file a CFPB case takes time. But closing a case opened saying that they are unable to open a file i sent is not correct. Especially, without officially communicating it to the person opened the case. Bank of America has closed the case the CFPB case XXXX again on XXXX XXXX without any detailed response. So I am logging a new case. They have mentioned that they haven't provided complete details to protect my privacy and they have sent it by postal mail. I request that the company investigate and keep the case open until I receive detailed resolution.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed 3 fraudulent charges on my credit card statement ; a XXXX XXXX charge, a gas station charge, and a smoke/gift shop charge totaling {$700.00}, all occurring on XX/XX/16. I immediately called Bank of America 's fraud department and initiated a fraud claim ; the claim was denied a day later because they claimed the card was used in my presence ( exact wording : We confirmed your card was used for the charge ( s ). The chip was read, your PIN was entered, and/or you signed for the merchandise or service, which indicates you or someone you allowed to use your card was present. ) This isn't physically possible because the card was in my possession and I did not visit those places on XX/XX/XXXX ( and have the XXXX timeline history to prove it ). Bank of America does not do their due diligence in investigating fraud claims ; this has happened to me once before, with the denial being the same reason.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I tried to get a cash advance from my credit card using an atm machine. The transaction was declined and stated unauthorized request. I didnt thin anything of it until I saw the amount withdrawn from my account in the coming days. I disputed the amount with my bank, and thought it was all taken care of and then saw the charge reappear several weeks later. They said the atm. XXXX provided proof that the amount was delivered : I have yet to see any proof and I know that the amount was not dispensed as I never received the cash. Ive tried to call the bank on several occasions but each time I am told a new reason why I cant be helped.
