Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I received a notification that your application was approved for a banking account. I knew that I did not apply for any other account. So I immediately contacted the bank. Which the first person I spoke with could not assist me and forward me over to the fraud department. The fraud department tried to sweep it under the rug and stated that the account was closed. On XXXX I received another email stating that your card is on the way to an address that I used when I opened the account up with the company. I stated to them. My information was already updated in my system and that address has never been used for 11 years since Ive been with the company. Ive contacted the company again on that day and they told me not to worry. And the account has been voided. XX/XX/XXXX I get a letter in the mail with the False bank account that still has not been closed.

Consumer Complaint: Bank Of America who I've been a customer of for about 10 years has had my account on freeze since XX/XX/2023. It is currently XXXX the XXXX as I write this complaint. I own and operate with the help of XXXX employees a farm where I grow and mass produce various fruits and nuts. I filed my taxes with the IRS for my XXXX year ( which i have my transcripts for ) and the Irs and Department of Treasury approved first and issued my tax refund of XXXX to my Bank of America account on XX/XX/XXXX where it processed and Cleared as all and previous IRS Treasury direct deposits do. As I am attempting to issue back payroll payment to my employees that I owe Bank Of America froze my account from use and put it " under review ''. I was originally told by a Bank of America fraud department supervisor it would take 5 business days and at the end of those days I called and expressed my frustrations to another Supervisor from the fraud department that these are my funds and they are unjustly holding them from me. The IRS has done months of due diligence and Bank of America has no right not letting me use my funds. The Supervisor told me that they are expecting my case and that it would take 3 more days. I ask what they are waiting for they said they sent a request to the irs and they are waiting a reply. They say a request was sent out on XX/XX/XXXX. So In those 3 days I got on the phone with Irs it took XXXX min they said that everything on there end about me is verified and that they don't understand why Bank of America is doing this to me. They also said that there is no request for anything on my behalf on there lap from Bank of America. I visited a branch at the end of the XXXX day deadline on XX/XX/XXXX. My funds are still on hold and " under review ''. They got on the phone with the analyst that's in charge of the review of my account direct deposit from the US Treasury and that they are still waiting for a response. The analyst also said another request was sent on XX/XX/XXXX and the issue would take another 5 days and potentially 30 days. This where I get outraged and contemplated gearing up for a lawsuit because the transition of events just are feeling outright illegal. My funds are on hold bills have to be paid. Families have to be paid. I ask why is it that I can contact the IRS in 30 min but it takes a institution with " resources '' DAYS. It legit doesn't add up and it feels like I'm being discriminated against. I called the Irs back and they are saying they have no request from a Bank while Bank of America is saying that they are waiting on a response. Meaning my funds the small customer my funds are on hold. It's not right and Bank of America 's " resources '' are poorly outdated to say the least. There is easily a more efficient way of doing business that doesn't leave the me as a customer out to dry for days either my funds on hold. Everything about my refund verifies. Name Social everything and I have my transcripts for my return. They claim they sent a request to verify the funds/for a transcript to the irs even they say they don't have it! I have my transcripts. They are doing some unjust. I need my funds off hold Bank Of America.

Consumer Complaint: My XXXX credit card payment was sent from my credit union with the incorrect credit card account information. Bank of America was unable to locate the payment and after almost 1 month returned the payment to my credit union as being unable to be applied. I immediately resent the payment with the correct account information ( note : this is even before my credit union credited the money back to my personal account ). Bank of America did credit back the late payment fee and some of the interest, however they did not credit back XXXX interest in the amount of {$20.00}. I have spoken to at least 5 different people regarding the issue and they say there system is not able to credit the {$20.00} back to my account and there is nothing that can be done. I have asked to speak to supervisor and have been told none are available, one stated she did not have the ability to credit the charges, I filed an internal BofA compliant and when I followed up was told that they have no record of a compliant being logged. It is a point of principle that I am fighting this charge. I paid my credit card statement on time but the money was not applied to my account ( but BofA had my money all this time ) yet they still charge my {$20.00} in interest since they can not get their system to reverse the charge. I have asked for supervisors to call be back but none have. I would like your assistance to get this matter resolved immediately. As trivial as this sounds, it is indicative of the way Big Business deals with the small individual... I need your help to get this resolved. Thank you. Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I was in the process of a FHA Modification with Bank of America. I hired an attorney, attended a seminar to meet account specialists, and complied with whatever was needed in order to obtain the modification and remain in my home. During the trial period of the modification, Bank of America placed a recorded a lien with XXXX XXXX register of deeds in XX/XX/XXXX and sold the loan to XXXX XXXX XXXX which then sold it to XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX. Once again, a trial period was demanded with a down payment of {$10000.00} following trial period of {$2500.00} each month. Consequently the loan was transferred to XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX, I decided to sell my home and learned about the partial subordinate lien ( second mortgage ) placed by Bank of America. I reached out to Hud and was informed the case number does not exist. After several attempt to register in the XXXX Portal, I had one person respond via the XXXX XXXX chat that the Bank of America recorded a lien but never filed a clam with HUD. I was also inform to contact my primary servicer and to inquire if they will file a claim if not it can be released. I have reached out several times and I do not get any replies. I would appreciate help from anyone at this time

Consumer Complaint: I cancelled my car XXXXnsurance because medically I was no longer able to drive. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I also, received a letter to show that it was confirmed and cancelled. Bank of America, allowed them to keep taking money out of my account for 9 months. I am XXXX and barely scrape by on my social security. I called dozens of times, to file my dispute and I submitted documentation only to have them say that the merchant did not respond so I would not be entitled to any further dispute. I was told so many times that I would receive a credit to my account if they did not respond. A manager had told me at Bank of America that I needed to file another dispute. The insurance was cancelled and the letter was dated XX/XX/2022 and I called to put stop payment on it in XX/XX/2022 because I had major XXXX and was in XXXX between then I was also unable to handle it any earlier. Bank of America also asked for medical records showing I was in the hospital I dont know if thats even legal. I also called the insurance company and was told that they sold the company to someone else I would have to call that number that new insurance company which they had no record of my account. It was {$670.00} total.
