IT HAS BEEN OVER 14 MONTHS SINCE I HAVE SEEN OR USED MY BANK OF AMERICA EDD CARD. Consumer Complaint: I filed a dispute # XXXX with Bank of America on XXXX XXXX XXXX. Booked a room on XXXX and when we arrived we noticed ants, frogs and mold in our room. We reached out to the property and no response so we left and check into another room. Reached out to booking to report problems and they reached out to property with no problem. I faxed in my pictures and conversation to the claims dept through XXXX called and confirmed that they received my fax. Received a response for my dispute almost 90 days later and none of my evidence was included or did they check out my dispute, so I asked to reopen the case. Case reopened and they still denied my case without looking at what I'm disputing. I'm still out of over {$300.00} from this. The claims department really sucks

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 - XXXX XXXX account check from my employer was deposited to my Bank of America checking account, deposit receipt received stating partial funds would be available XX/XX/2023 and balance of deposit would be available XX/XX/2023 at XXXX. XX/XX/2023 - XXXX funds not available XX/XX/2023 - called and spoke with customer service representative at Bank of America who stated the hold on deposit had been extended to XX/XX/2023 at XXXX. XX/XX/2023 - approximately XXXX went back to the bank location where deposit was made and teller verified that hold had been extended and tried to give me a phone number to their " hold department '' and another bank employee whispered to her and then they just gave me the customer service line number which I already had now saying there was no " hold department ''. XX/XX/2023 - approximately XXXX I called the customer service line again and after a long hold time I was given the run around about deposit hold, told a computer put the hold, a bank of america employee could not override what the computer did. When asked to speak to someone who could actually help, I was told I was being transferred to the " hold department '' and then disconnected from the call. XX/XX/2023 - approximately XXXX I called the Bank of America customer service line again after checking my XXXX account online and seeing that the check actually cleared with them on XX/XX/2023. I received the same information from their representatives who said they are waiting on the check to be verified and funds received. I verified that it took less than 24 hours for Bank of America to request the funds from XXXX and for XXXX to clear the check. I was told that it can take up to 7 days for funds to be available in my account with no explanation as to why other than " they are waiting on the funds to clear ''. I will be closing my Bank of America account. They are not customer friendly and do not have competent people working there. If I could give a rating it would be ZERO stars. Bank of America has greatly tarnished my reputation with merchants and institutions I pay bills to by returning ACH checks unpaid because they are holding a deposit without reason.

Consumer Complaint: Less than three months ago, I opened Bank of America 's XXXX XXXX credit card which promised XXXX points if I spend {$4000.00} or more in 3 months of card opening. I was instantly approved for the card online and already spend more than {$4000.00} in less than 3 months. I received XXXX points but when I went to their system/webpage to redeem my points, it didn't allow me to redeem my points. Few days later, when I got hold of one of the customer representatives I was told that Bank of America has closed my card and upon talking to them they told me that they can not allow me to redeem my approximately XXXX points ( XXXX points from bonus and rest from spending more than {$4000.00} on the card ). I tried talking to other representatives but I was denied my hard earned points even though I followed their terms and conditions. One week later, I was sent a letter stating that because of irregular authorized user activity my card has been closed. I only had my wife on this card as Authorized user and I already removed her more than a month ago. The representative told me that the irregular account activity is not linked to my card ( where I received XXXX points ) but Bank of America still decided to close my card and denied me the opportunity to redeem my points. These points are worth {$670.00} so a big sum of money for me and it does makes a big difference to me losing this amount of money. Bank of America still doesn't let me redeem my points and I will appreciate if you can take action so atleast I can redeem my points. Thank you and looking forward for a solution.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX ( XXXX ) I deposited a check via ATM deposit in the amount of {$10000.00} USD. Within hours my account was locked, I no longer had access and my account was closed the next day. I had banked with Bank of America for 10 years and had only deposited a regular check from a judgment settlement amount that went through attorneys and the court system. XXXX XXXX issued the check. The letter of account closure is dated XX/XX/XXXX, no reason given. My attempt to call BofA to learn what had happened has been recorded and ended in the representative hanging up on me. I remained polite and calm trying to understand why a regular safe balance account was closed without a warning or reason given. The representative on the phone said that this was an executive decision made on the highest level and that all my funds are on hold. When I asked for a timeframe to when I would receive access to my funds he said he can not provide me with anymore information and that I'm no longer a client of Bank of America. It appears that this action is politically motivated since I exercised my rights as XXXX XXXX XXXX after my time in XXXX XXXX. Throughout my advocacy I was forced to sue for my rights and submitted to the highest courts. My actions to get help involved reaching out to Congress and the White House. In addition I worked at the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX departments/full-time ) and frequently saw President Trump during daily workloads. XXXX XXXX who was debanked on XX/XX/XXXX came to a restaurant close by restaurant after one of our bigger political events. We had drinks and said cheers once or twice. Other than that I have not been political except to raise a voice for XXXX XXXX XXXX like myself. I served in the military for over 10 years. I was XXXX when I signed up. I moved to XXXX XXXX, CA in XXXX and moved to XXXX Florida during COVID in XXXX of XXXX. I have suffered through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Since this complaint has to be specific I will also attach my handle of my shadow banned XXXX account XXXX XXXX In there it displays a post from XXXX, with a picture of me alongside XXXX XXXX and a picture of the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX. I'm also sharing some of what I have experienced in regards to the eXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that began in XXXX. I kindly request assistance with retrieving the money of both the settlement amount and the funds were in the account before closure. When I kept going back in person, the BofA local branch manager stated that a check of the amount left in the account was cut on XX/XX/XXXX and sent to my address at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX. The check however never arrived. Prior to that I had gone to another local BofA branch to get a better understanding of what had happened to my account and the money in there, the representative stated that " it's a no-check account '' ( which I heard for the first time and made no sense since I had deposited checks to same safe balance account prior ). She also said that the check deposit she specifically called " that transaction '' flagged my account as high risk and immediately triggered closure. In addition she mentioned that usually when that happens a check will be send with the money that is in the account. To this day however I have not received access to my funds incl. the settlement amount, despite multiple inquiries. Please assist me with retrieving funds and to recover damages caused by Bank of America 's actions against me. BofA also reported me to XXXX and so forth so that I can no longer open an account with other financial institutions.

I recently paid/settled this account in XXXX of XXXX where at that time Bank of America then updated my credit reports to show that the account was CHARGED OFF in XX/XX/XXXX. This false and inaccurate information is damaging my credit profile and affecting my ability to purchase a home. I have spoken to Bank of America about the reporting issues with this account and they have claimed that it would be corrected in 90 days and to date that time period has passed and each month this account reports falsely to my credit file. Consumer Complaint: Bank of America issued me a 1099-C in XXXX. I reported this debt cancellation on my XXXX tax return. Bank of America never sent me a lien release. Instead, they sold the XXXX account balance to another company called XXXX XXXX Bank of America preyed on my lack of knowledge of what a discharge meant. And XXXX led me to believe a discharge happened because of a bankruptcy, which was never the case. Both of these companies need to be fined and sanctioned.
