Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2023 XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX XXXX Account Ending in : XXXX Re : Clarification with case number XXXX * Disputing in the amount of {$300.00} *Request to re-open Case *And in question with XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX Regulatory Complaint non related ) response with my claim ( incorrect or misleading response ). *****Before everything isnt it that under Regulation XXXX, that in order to file a dispute claim with an institution is to formally submit a written notice/letter or call in the bank or bank customer service, to file a claim but still need to send a written notice. That is exactly what I did but I wasnt getting any response with Bank Of America after sending them numerous emails and even fax my written notice/ letter in order to file a dispute claim, so I thought about seeking assistance with CFPB. ***** To whom it XXXX concerned ( CFPB ), Hi, I just want to make a formal request for my claim ( case # XXXX ), for which the response letter i received from XXXX XXXX probably being mixed up with other cases because transactions in question with my claim doesnt match and I have full copies of my written notice/letter that I sent out to Bank of America XXXX Department XXXX XXXX XXXX email and fax. I can provide my proof of those documents and so u will find the different dates and time of delivery. I honestly indicate the total right amount that XXXX disputing which is ( {$300.00} ) and not {$340.00} that XXXX XXXX indicated on the response letter I received. I really dont know where that amount came from but XXXX sure and 100 % that the amount XXXX disputing is {$300.00} that I indicated on my written notice /letter, and for several times I sent my written notice to BOA Dispute Department XXXX never receive no response from them so that my claim could be filed and I even tried to call but the wait time is far to long that I have to hung up but they usually reply to my emails when I have certain complaint. Since I never got any response so I could be assisted to get my money back I thought of reaching out to u ( CFPB ) for help. And just to add up with what XXXX XXXX stated on the letter that they cant locate any claims under my name and card number is because I never receive any response from BOA XXXX Department from my written notice/letter that I sent several times through emails and fax and as a matter of fact there is XXXX time I sent my written notice to different Dept. of BOA. I can provide proof of my emails and fax that I sent my letter that includes the day and time I sent and even indicated that every time I fax my letter I always received a feedback that it was received successfully and thats numerous fax that I sent and carefully notified me that it was successfully sent and received by BOA XXXX. and I can prove it. And XXXX XXXX also indicated that {$340.00} was posted in my account on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/2023, first of all where did that {$340.00} came from and did those XXXX dates came from as well because XX/XX/2023 is the day that the ATM did not dispense any cash when I was requesting to withdraw {$300.00} from my checking account and I myself couldnt find that {$340.00} in my account that XXXX XXXX mentioned in the response letter, XXXX totally confused infact I had been calling XXXX XXXX as soon I received an email stating that to give a call so I could verify that XXXX the person who submitted a complaint to CFPB for numerous times and always left a voicemail every time I call for nobody is answering my call and I even sent emails and still no response not until o received a mail. XXXX attached all documents such emails as proof of my written notice/letter that indicate the right amount that im disputing and also a screen shot of the transactions in my checking account so to see wheres that {$340.00} and stating XXXX dates that was posted XX/XX/2023 & XX/XX/2023. Why XXXX!? Hoping my case be reopen right away and also to receive a response from CFPB and Bank of America upon receipt of this email/notice of request to reopen claim/case. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I opened an account XX/XX/2023. I was told I would have control over the account and if I needed help from a financial advisor I would be able to get that. 2 days of having the account and I tried to login again and it states that my account is disabled. Ive tried every week since then to get in contact with someone to find out why this has happened. Each phone call and email has left me with little to no information on who I could speak to regarding this issue. My money has been put into Merrill edge and at this point I do not trust anything they say.

Consumer Complaint: on XX/XX/2023 I requested a reconsideration of a denial to t new application that I made for a separate business credit line. While i requested that I made mention that we are a woman owned small business that has generated consistent deposits on my checking account, I have never made any late payments and kept the account limit decent. a few hours later I received an email stating that my credit card account was closed with no explanation. I had opened that account a couple years prior after giving them secured money for the credit card and converting to nonsecure card after meeting all qualifications. i feel that my account was maliciously and with discrimination closed due to mention of being a woman owned small business. I asked for a small business credit line and then suddenly my credit card was conveniently closed hours later. I have a decent credit score, business generates daily substantial deposits, I have never been late in payments, My credit card was also paid in full weeks prior. My personal credit score has not changed much since they approved the credit card years prior.

WE EACH HAVE OUR OWN ACCOUNTS, WE HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A DIME FROM THE SETTLEMENT ( S ). I CONTACTED THE ATTORNEYS HANDLING THE SETTLEMENT AND EXPLAINED THAT WE WERE CUSTOMERS DURING THE RELEVANT TIME PERIOD AND WERE ABSOLUTELY SUBJECT TO THE FEES THAT B OF A HAS BEEN ORDERED TO PAY BACK BY THE COURTS FROM MORE THAN ONE LAWSUIT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD CHECK INTO IT. WELL, WHAT A SHOCKER. HAVEN'T HEARD A PEEP. MAYBE CFPB CAN TELL ME WHAT I SHOULD DO NEXT IN THIS SITUATION.

Consumer Complaint: Since making my complaint against Bank Of America and bad business practices, for neglecting my disputes and investigating my claims and acting in my best interest against offenders committing deceptive business practices. Bank of America has only completed XXXX claims and paid them out after forcing me to withdraw my claims or risk not having access to my funds for over 45 days. Please reference complaints XXXX, XXXX. My claims were only re-opened and settled after submitting complaints to the cdpb. I had to withdraw claims totaling over {$40000.00} and they have only settled XXXX claims totaling approx. {$14000.00}. I wish my cases to be published and be heard by as many people and bank members as possible to see what this bank is willing to do to its members just simply by not wanting to continue with a fraud investigation.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX I filed a claim with Bank of America of potential fraud. After looking back into the account it was my error so I called to cancel the claim. They credited me four different transactions for the amount in question. {$79.00}, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX the very same day. Being that I cancelled the claim the debited the amounts back the very same day. Now on XX/XX/XXXX they debited the amount of {$79.00}, XXXX times under the same claim that was suppose to be cancelled. Which equals in the amount of {$940.00}. Now I have been missing that money for XXXX business days counting today and XXXX weekends. I've called several times and no answers. They give me the same story. We are looking into it. I have been with this bank since XXXX and never had a problem until now. I just want it resolved and want my money back. It's obviously a bank error and they filed another claim under the same number reopening this claim. It was escalated XXXX XXXX ago and when I called to see the progress they told it was never escalated.

Consumer Complaint: My credit score dropped more than XXXX XXXX points due to a late payment in XXXX after having XXXX years of perfect credit. I called XXXX XXXX to figure out the cause. They said that there was one late payment in XXXX that made it drop. They directed me to call the bank and request to have it removed. I called Bank of America and they told me that I actually had 3 late payments. I told them that during those months, I had a XXXX XXXX, was graduating college, and moving out of my apartment. They told me that those were valid reasons to have those late payment reports removed. I checked my credit and it was still the same so I called XXXX XXXX and asked why my credit score was not restored. They said the bank had not removed them. I then called the bank who said they had in fact removed the payment off of my record. Since then, i have called both Bank of America and XXXX XXXX multiple times asking why my credit score has not been restored. Both companies tell me they are opening disputes to remove the charge and restore my credit and nothing has been done. My credit is still over XXXX XXXX points lower and I don't know who to call anymore to fix it or why the disputes are going nowhere.
