Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Application denied
Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, I received a promotional offer from Bank of America inviting me to apply for a specific credit card. The communication strongly suggested that I was prequalified for this card. Upon completing the application process, my request was unexpectedly denied. I contend that this outcome is inconsistent with the initial implications of the offer for two primary reasons. Firstly, the promotional material clearly indicated that I was prequalified for the credit card. Such language typically suggests a preliminary assessment of eligibility, leading potential applicants to believe that approval is highly likely, if not guaranteed, subject to formal application procedures. Secondly, upon responding to the promotional offer, I duly completed and submitted a credit application, a step which I believed to be a procedural formality given the implication of prequalification. Importantly, once signed, this application constitutes a valuable instrument. It's not merely a request for credit ; it also represents a securitized agreement, engaging my personal financial information and credit history. In light of this, and according to the terms outlined in Bank of America 's indentured trustee agreement, the submission and acceptance of this valuable, securitized application should have ostensibly resulted in the approval of the credit card. This expectation is based on the understanding that my application, once accepted, holds significant value and, as such, forms part of a reciprocal agreement wherein approval of the credit card is the expected outcome. The incongruity between the apparent assurance of prequalification and the subsequent denial of the application is, therefore, not only unexpected but seemingly at odds with the established practices and agreements of Bank of America. A re-evaluation of my application in this context, considering the value and implications of the signed credit application, would be both reasonable and in keeping with the expectations set forth by the indentured trustee agreement.

Consumer Complaint: AGAIN, I SEE- what you obviously cant. Laws- that require a bank in this case, to have to answer accordingly. Just because I owed SACS accredited colleges, allowing me to teach yes even law. As I tried and tried, in REAL TIME- as the so called mishandling was killing us. Even that generalized statement- of mishandling XXXX XXXX XXXX had to be FORCED OUT under my evidence to the federal CFPB. FORGET my accredited colleges- I tried to stop ALL MISHANDLING- by SHOWING the laws- to BOA XXXX- who proudly stated BOA COMPLIANCE WAS INSTRUCTING HIM TO HUMILIATE DISCRIMINATE AND NOT ALLOW ME TO VIEW MY FEDERALLY PROTECTED ACCOUNTS NOR GET A XXXX. Im not required to TEACH Bank of America laws. Never was never should of ever tried, all it lead to was more self incrimination and over obvious-
