Consumer Complaint: I'm drafting this because I have contacted the credit bureaus and the creditors and informed them that I've been an identity theft victim and there were fraudulent accounts reported on my credit report. Thus far, XXXX hasn't removed the fraudulent charges from my credit report. I don't have time to contact XXXX every day because when I get them, their representative tells me that they will remove the fraudulent account from my credit report, and then they don't do it. Or they'll let me know we filed for a dispute, and when I call back to check on my argument, they tell me it was never filed. XXXX is the most untrustworthy credit bureau ever. They report fraudulent accounts and fraudulent information to the credit bureau. They break the law by not following proper dispute procedures. In addition, their employees act as lawyers and pretend to know how they can interpret the law, which is vastly illegal because they're not lawyers. I followed the proper procedure and informed them through an identity theft report that I filed with the Federal Trade Commission that states and identifies which accounts are fraudulent and must be removed from the credit report. They continuously disregard my request when I tell them to dispute the fraudulent accounts and remove them from my credit report. Therefore, they deserve the harshest fines and punishment due to committing and being part of the fraud themselves. Again, I'm not saying this to slander XXXX or the banks that opened fraudulent accounts under my name, Bank of America, and XXXX XXXX I'm merely stating that there are fraudulent accounts that must be removed from my report.

According to the representative all ATms had been compromised I want aware of this and many accounts have been hacked. Card had to be closed and remaining funds could not be acquired at all only by paying a fee of $ XXXXand sending it to XXXX XXXXXXXX . Not only I have no money but I have to pay to get what's left. This was my only income and they made it so hard even to release my funds I have to wait and they processed an emergency but they don't know how soon I get my money back. This is really bad practice for this bank that is so large.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/XXXX, I opened a savings account at Bank of America and personally deposited {$18000.00}. However, in XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that my identity had been stolen. A lawyer and advisor from XXXX advised me to notify all my banks and credit card companies, which I did immediately. In XX/XX/XXXX, BOFA informed me that my account had been closed and my funds had been frozen. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve the issue with the bank, and retrieve my funds, I have been unable to do so. The bank has provided me with misleading information, and no one from the branch or the claims/fraud department has taken responsibility for the issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, I visited a Bank of America branch and provided two forms of ID, as requested. However, they asked me to call the fraud/claims department on XX/XX/XXXX. ( 5 days later ). When I did, they asked me to call back again on XX/XX/XXXX. This back and forth has been going on for almost a month and nobody can give me an update on my case. This has caused me significant stress and frustration, as I have been unable to access tmy funds which I deposited.
