Consumer Complaint: I have XXXX prepaid XXXX cards ( XXXX for {$100.00} and another for {$220.00} ) by Bank of America that I received from XXXX XXXX that expired at the end of XX/XX/XXXX. I tried to use them on XX/XX/XXXX, but they would not work. I called Bank of America 's Prepaid Card Customer Service on XXXX and after entering XXXX of the card numbers, it stated that the card had expired. When I spoke with a live customer service representative, they stated that the account was closed for both cards. Since this date I have also called on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and on XX/XX/XXXX. Throughout these times I have asked if I could be reissued a new card for the amount minus the replacement fee or if I could receive a check. They stated that both accounts show {$0.00}, even though I did not spend any of the money on either. I called again on XX/XX/XXXX to find out if the money was forfeited to them and they could not answer this for me, even when I spoke with a supervisor. Bank of America basically stated that they could not do anything for me and left it at that. If needed, I have both cards and any additional information needed. I also attached a letter that I previously received from Bank of America for a different prepaid XXXX card where they stated that if the card were to be deactivated, they would mail me a paper check of the remaining balance. This is why I am wondering why they will not do this with the XXXX prepaid cards that I currently have.

Because there is a question why this employee of your company, Bank of America, somebody called XXXX, who do not have any family name, can contact me with this XXXX address, I have decided to notify this fraud. Besides, this same XXXX must have called me this morning regarding something with dispute of CFPB, even though her file # did not exist after checking my account record of CFPB. Also, the telephone number written on this printed paper was same number, those who worked at Bank of America tried to make me call this XXXX, which meant two ladies called me to call this XXXX, who had the number XXXX. Seller initially listed phone on XXXX. Was not able to complete purchase because XXXX required additional documents from Seller - who later contacted me via email. Seller and her mother - residents of XXXX XXXX, Texas - lied and never sent the phone. They bought/downloaded USPS shipping labeXXXX so they could provide tracking # but never actually handed the package over to USPS. USPS tracking # shows " Label created but not in system ''. Filed complaint with Bank of America, XXXX Payment Dept. on XXXX Mailed hard copy of email exchange between victim and scammers to Bank of America, XXXX Payment Dept. on XXXX forming part of record of of complaint. Also filed complaint with XXXX XXXX Texas XXXX XXXX. on XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX called and advised me to ( 1 ) file formal complaint with FTC and ( 2 ) local Police Dept. FTC site also suggested filing complaint with CFPB - since Bank of America refused to refund scammed amount.

Consumer Complaint: The original creditor of this account is Bank of America, and the debt collector is XXXX XXXX XXXX. I learned about this account after I attempted to search the real estate market ; my realtor told me that I had to do a credit check and discovered a judgment against me placed by XXXX XXXX XXXX regarding a fraudulent Bank of America account. I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX and informed them that the account was fraudulent. I requested them to provide me with the original record of the application of this account, but they could not provide anything. Therefore, in good faith, I called XXXX XXXX XXXX again to inform them that I want to find a settlement agreement as long as they remove the fraudulent account from my credit report and file a motion to dismiss this frivolous collection lawsuit despite the account not being mine. I just realized I was willing to settle a fraudulent account that's not mine to get things over with, yet they did not want to settle. I made a reasonable offer to them for {$1000.00}. If they're going to call and harass me again to find a settlement, my offer of {$1000.00} will no longer be valid. My new offer for them will be {$250.00}. They constantly harass me with phone calls and attempts of collection on a fraudulent account. They know that the account is fraudulent, yet they try to collect on a fraudulent account illegally.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a customer of bank of america for XXXX years or so in different accounts ( some closed some open ) and currently I filed a complaint against bank of america because they are collecting from me the loan they did with other people and I do not even have the note or a current statement and they want XXXX for the loan on a loan forcing me to sell myhouse to pay them. I think they got upset because of this and instead of charging back the retailer for product I did not request, they charged my account XXXX XXXX and overdrew my account. I was laid off and I do not have income coming in, so bank of america changed their fees and charged me XXXX $ to keep a savings account open and {$4.00} to keep my checking account open. I need them open because this is the account where I paid about XXXX cash to bank of america for the countrywide and nationstar loans bank of america is collecting in the foreclosure case which is what the jdudge needs to make sure the bank credits us for the mortgage payments as the banks are not telling us how much we owe them or send us a mortgage statement but want to liquidate our assets for the debts of a third person on our house taken when the property was not theirs. We got title insurance. the bank wants to take all our assets for old debt of XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX we are not related to nor cosigned for them. Any way, this particular complaint is about a charge from XXXX XXXX charges on my bank account. I fell down the stairs while on training under the XXXX vocation program ( IPE attached ) and XXXX did not cover as I was out of the state of NM, so I was billed XXXX and could not attend physical therapy or anything until I return to NM and I did to get healed. While waiting for medical resources, and using XXXX, a XXXX link popped up and had a link to a free account to find more about the muscles I injured ( bones were dislocated at the shoulder when I grabbed a spindle on my way down from falling from the top of XXXX stairs down to avoid hitting the wall ). I looked at the information and forgot about it. I discovered I ws charged XXXX dollars or so for the information that was deemed a " free account ''. I did provide my email and the numbers on my card because that was the requirement to get the " free account ''. I then noticed the temporary charge back. the retailer said they emailed us the information that they are using our financial information to do recurrent charges and that they got our email so they can charge and charge and I tried to get them to stop earlier but the would not so that I called the claims department at bank of america and they were not helpful. I have attaached the emails that were discovered in the spam folder and the initial free account offer from a XXXX marketing video. We want the charges removed as this has overdrawn the account. I have no income at the time as we were laid off during covid. I am an older person and have a disabilty so it is harder to get a job for me but I will, I always had and I recently finished the educational part with the division of vocational rehabilitation ( attached ) but need to study for my license and in the meantime I applied to all jobs I could including similar jobs than the one I had a XXXX a pharmaceutical rep, which I was laid off when bank of america XXXX ( loan XXXX ) contacted HR for validation of the debt of 2008 that the XXXX 's took that the loan XXXX wanted to include in my credit as it ws XXXX about 10 years ago but XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) debt collectors are collecting and got a win because mom was hospitalized with covid and I ws sick so we did not know how to respond as we are not attorneys but are given the same power and knowledge level as them being prose. So ini the middle of being destitute, and faced homelessness, there is the productso or merchandise of this retailer on a freee account we want refunded and they do not agree based on having our fiancial information and email obtained for the " free account ''. I do not any longer have unemployment as it ended and I would not and could not afford XXXX XXXX as I am on XXXX and XXXX until I find where my next paycheck comes from.

I asked my son regarding this charge he told me this charge was meant for anime subscription ; however, as you can recognize it on the printout, the merchant category of your bank record said, digital goods, games. Unfortunately, the conversation with my son was performed by text message of my old phone ; therefore, it is impossible to provide the printout. After my question to him, where did you get that company information, the message had stopped with my son. Upon the request of my complaints and disputes, the XXXX XXXX XXXX had already refunded the charges made by XXXXXXXX XXXX for XXXX months totaling about {$48.00}, I seriously consider this charge to my Bank of America debit card must be illegal and fraud. Consumer Complaint: A certified check was mailed out to me for payout of an alimony settlement. It was unfortunately sent to an old address. I was unaware of this check being mailed until many months later when it was brought up in court. I then reached out to Bank of America to start a stop payment on the certified check. The banker at the location of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, DE assisted me in an investigation and gave me a claim number as he told me a Stop Payment couldn't be issued as the Certified Check was deposited already. This was in XXXX and I can't remember the gentleman 's name, but he was a XXXX man. The following day I called the bank with the investigation claim number and they said they can no longer assist me and they won't be looking into the matter anymore unfortunately. I was then hung up on and have had XXXX help trying to track down my certified check from Bank of America. The check was dated for XX/XX/XXXX. it was check number XXXX and it was a sum of {$240000.00}. I'm at a loss for how to recover the funds if the bank won't assist me in the investigation. ( 3 months in ) and they failed to send me the bank affidavit form/doc. so I can file my police report. Never received a status update either. I keep calling the fraud dept. and nothing has been resolved. The local branches by me are closed and do not offer this service. This is handled by the back office. Never mailed me the bank affidavit. UNACCEPTABLE!
