Then I contacted the only bank ( XXXX ) that has credit cards and they told me that I had a credit card with Bank of America, so I immediately went to the place but the person who helped me checked and said that I did not have any account or credit card with Bank of America and they gave me a number to make a call to credit cards so I made the call but since I did not have the credit card number they could not assist me by phone.. On XX/XX/2023, I went to the XXXX XXXX again and they informed me that I had related accounts in my credit bureau that I did not know about, so they told me to make a call to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX to report identity fraud. which is why I already made said report. Consumer Complaint: Weve been having continual fraud on our account with the Bank of America card. Whenever we notice a transaction is not ours, we let them know. While some transactions have been refunded, we have {$4000.00} that have not been refunded. Bank of America is disputing legitimate transactions which is causing us problems with our vendors. Despite telling them that the {$4000.00} isnt ours, they keep denying the claim.

Consumer Complaint: After being declined for rate adjustments due to job loss, I was shocked to see online that this same Bank of America put my account on escrow for my XXXX payment. Imagine my shock to see a payment due of XXXX XXXX! Delving in to the statement details, I noticed the escrow amount added. Funds I do not have in my checking account to be debited. Spent over XXXX hours total on phone with Bank of America today. First call, I was told escrow was added due to taxes being late. Excuse me, second half property taxes ARE NOT DUE UNTIL XX/XX/XXXX in XXXX XXXX. I was going to pay that on credit card. I received no notification, no special letter, no escrow analysis, nothing. Second call I made to escrow department ( after being transferred several times ), was told to check my online account, which I did on the phone with agent. Voila, no notification sent at all. If part of the loan mod, someone should add this to the documentation sent to me. And why this was not done the first time I applied for a loan mod XXXX months ago? Can't have it both way.s This is a breach of my original loan agreement. I am agreeing, and still paying my adjustable rate mortgage which tripled this year and increased another {$500.00} XX/XX/XXXX, following the rules, being the long time good client I've always been, and I get pinged with escrow? I never have had escrow my entire adult life, nor was this part of the loan mod. Is the bank trying to get me to abandon my home? I am not attaching the statement of XXXX. XXXX with the escrow line item due to privacy on my loan number.

Consumer Complaint: Bank of America has allow fraud on my account since XX/XX/XXXX and as of XXXX XX/XX/2023, I still have not yet received any documents of what the bank used to to determine why they denied a {$280.00} XXXX transfer claim. But yet they have now withdrawn XXXX transactions from my account in the amount of {$140.00} each. I am a college do it these fees are for my classes and now XXXX cant pay for my classes because the bank decided to take from my account, twice in XXXX week totaling {$280.00} for their banking fees. Arent banks insured and funded? Doesnt my father social security account have funds that they can go after. I just turned XXXX and this is some welcome and Bank of America also take overdrawn fees and monthly payments from those accounts but my account is now depleted and I now have to withdraw my classes.

I had a call with a specialist in Bank of America to close my credit card account after I paid off my credit even though my financial difficulties according to the laid off from my employer. On the next days I shocked to see an interest fee and when I called to check what was the issue the answer was terrible and not logic at all. I knew recently that back of America did the same with a lot customers and now there is a lawsuit against this bank!!!

Consumer Complaint: Sat XX/XX/XXXX I used ATM machine a local bank of america XXXX in XXXX, Florida. I deposited a check in ATM machine for {$2200.00}. XXXX kept my check and did not post funds to my account. This was at XXXX. I went into the branch where no one would help. I get a telephone number to call. I go home I call bank of america. I file a claim. I get no information on when I will get my funds. I call the next day XX/XX/23 and I'm told the claims dept isn't open on the weekends and I should call back on Monday XX/XX/23. I call back a 3rd time to be told that they are back logged and will not give me a temporary credit until someone is able to research and watch the camera to make sure I deposited the check like I said I had. Then I'm told that I will not receive any credit until 2 weeks from now. Also it could take up to 30 days to complete my claim. This is XXXX week. It was a bank of america check, written to a bank of america customer deposited into a bank of america machine. I have been a loyal customer for 18 yrs. I have a credit and savings account with them. For me to be treated this way over a broken ATM machine, especially during a holiday week is unacceptable. I shouldn't have to chose between paying my bills or feeding my family XXXX dinner because of their ATM machine error. I'm beyond upset. The last person in the phone wants to tell me my feelings are validated and that's all they can do. Excuse me? It's XXXX and I need to pay bills and feed my family and your keeping my money and I'm supposed to feel better because my feelings are validated.? I will get this resolved one way or another and never do business with bank of america again.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I deposited an amount of {$540.00} at an Bank of America ATM, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX. The time was XXXX. This is a drive thru atm. The cash went inside the atm machine but the screen just stopped there. I had to make two more deposits but the ATM machine didnt seem to be working right. I waited there in hopes that maybe it will return my cash but it didnt. I did recieve a receipt though that says " We apologize for the inconvienience.We are unable to process your request and can not return your item ( s ) ''. Money didnt showup in my bank too! It was Friday and time was after XXXX so no one picked up the phone when i called the helpline. I had to make two more deposits so i just went to the other atm at the same location that is a walk in atm ( not drive thru ) and deposited the rest of the money there. I was sure this isnt a big issue as the bank will take care of the issue. I called the bank the following week day, explained to them the issue and they credited me {$540.00} saying they will investigate the issue. Today, after 45 days i received a letter from the bank that my claim was wrong and that i didnt deposit {$540.00} but {$100.00} and they will debit the excess amount of {$430.00} from my account. That is a totally false investigation. I dont understand why dont they just the XXXX footage or cameras or make use of their INVESTIGATIVE RESOURCES the correct way! This is a total scam they are doing. If their atm systems can fail and eat up my money then no wonder their investigation team is also similar. The system is flawed. I just need proper investigation and need a fair decision! Also, i have my bank statements with me where one can clearly see that there is absolutely no deposit of {$100.00} to be seen anywhere. Which once again proves their negligence and an attempt to eat my money!

She then attempted to cash in the check using the Bank of America mobile app, and I saw that the money had left my checking account. However, she never received the money in her account even months after attempting to cash the check. Both of us have repeatedly called Bank of America, who acknowledged that my money was missing from both of our accounts and opened a missing deposit investigation. However a week after that, I received a mail letter saying that after the investigation, no adjustments will be made on their part.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 i made claim with Bank of America about my debit card fraud, they gave me a new debit card and told me they would investigate the matter. After they claimed they investigated, they denied me by stating that after researching they saw that i was the one who made the purchase, so i wrote them an affidavit asking them to rebut all which i have stated in it with wet blue ink signature and signed by a notary, and attest to what they accused me of, which they did not. They did not get me any details on how they went about conducting the investigation. By law they must comply with my demands. I will be taking them to arbitration.
