Consumer Complaint: I deposited a cashiers check to my account at BoA on XX/XX/XXXX, it stated that my deposit would be ready the next day but when I made the deposit, I was told after that I would get it on XX/XX/XXXX. I have no money for XXXX. If BoA was honest about the hold I would have took my check to a check cashing place. Its not right for BoA to do that to its customers, now I cant feed my family or pay my rent. I spoke to multiple agents about this at BoA and they couldnt explain why it would take over a week to verify a cashiers check when the payee is XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: I made 3 large deposits into bank of america, they explained they had to call my Clients XXXX once it cleared I would be set to go. They sent letters to my residence of when funds would be released onl ; y for them to resend me letters extending the hold. 1st incident XXXX XXXX I deposited the first check for {$21000.00} they flagged it. I was OK with the hold until they decided to extend it yet additional days even after it clearing from XXXX. They spoke to my client and gave him their word they would release the funds and held on to them, this caused me fines with my employees and made me fall behind on my projects and lose employees. I felt this was was due to my ethnicity. 2nd incident It happened yet again on another deposit XXXX XXXX with funds released the XXXX after assuring me they would be released XX/XX/XXXX. 3rd Incident XX/XX/XXXX clearing the XXXX this is in total violations of my rights!

Consumer Complaint: I wired {$47000.00} to Bank of America on XX/XX/. When I logged in to verify the payment had been received by online banking was turned off and I was unable to verify they payment has been received. When I called Bank of America I was told a variety of bogus reasons why my banking was turned off, which now prevents from accessing any tax documents or statements, which were there. This practice is unfair and deceptive based on Bank of Americas reliance on the use of online banking. I requested written conformation ( to be received day of not in two business days ) that this payment was received. I was declined this request from XXXX and XXXX. XXXX was especially nonsensical in all of her answers, reasoning, etc., regarding the excuses that she can not do this. Bank of America should NOT turn off someones online banking for paying off their loan.

Consumer Complaint: The issue is that I have been a victim of identity theft. My information was utilized without my consent and authorization to open several fraudulent accounts, and one of them was with Bank of America. When I discovered that a lawsuit had been filed against my name and a judgment had been placed against my name, I was worried. So I obtained the court documents, contacted the plaintiffs and their attorneys, XXXX and XXXX, and informed them that they had the incorrect person because I never had a Bank of America account. I asked them to check the records properly because I have not been their customer, and the account they are attempting to collect on is fraudulent. Any account subjected to fraud and identity theft can not be collected. However, they ignored my request and told me if I was an identity theft victim, then I should have filed a police report instead of calling them. Before I contacted them, I had already filed a police report with the XXXX XXXX Police Department. I have the DR number and will provide it in the end. However, my story doesnt end here. I contacted XXXX and XXXX, and respectfully, I requested them to send me the record of the application that was filed with the account during the opening stages of the account. However, XXXX & XXXX and Bank of America did not comply with my request ; they sent me a couple of statements with the account number on them and the wrong information. I say the wrong information because the statements I sent contained incorrect information. The address on every statement was incorrect and was addressed elsewhere. That raised a red flag and made me look further at the lawsuit documents to ensure what kind of address XXXX & XXXX had when filing this suit. I discovered that XXXX & XXXX also had inaccurate address information, which was why I was never served with a lawsuit. Nonetheless, I have attempted to find an agreeable resolution with Bank of America and XXXX & XXXX. I acted in good faith throughout the entire time when contacting them. I even offered them a reasonable settlement so we could remove this fraudulent account and the derogatory lawsuit could be dismissed as soon as possible. However, they continuously act in bad faith and do not consider attempting to resolve the issue. The police report number is DR XXXX.
