Consumer Complaint: AMEX XXXX They sat on a pile of bunk receipts they couldn't possibly make add up, they sat on evidence my family was being blackmailed, they sat on evidence my family 's lives were threatened, this industry in XXXX is a complete sham, it's nothing but a front for XXXX XXXX, XXXX, fraud, XXXX, it all runs off credit cards daily, and they did nothing but collected every dime so they could make the charges appear legitimate and wreck our lives. I hope one day law enforcement will see this.

Inquiry was made on XX/XX/2022 by AMEX. I did not authorize anyone employed by this company to make any inquiry and view my credit report. This is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act Section 1681b ( c ). This is a serious breach of my privacy rights. - Please validate this information with this company and provide me with copies of any documentation associated with this account bearing my signature, authorizing an inquiry. In the absence of any such documentation bearing my signature, I formally request that this fraudulent inquiry be immediately deleted from the credit file you maintain under my Social US SM BUS ADMIN ODA number. My application did not mention the annual fee and for both cards one was {$690.00}, and the other card was {$170.00} totaling {$870.00}. I did not order a second card I am only one person. These charges were not disclosed to me at the time of application and immediate acceptance. I have spoken to American Express, and they are cancelling the card and charges. Even the XXXX drivers know if they have been in the country for XXXX months. But AMEX collected money from someone who was XXXX assaulted in order to pretend it isn't and justify their paperwork. They lied, they hid evidence, they sent me to a mental ward, they destroyed everything my family worked for to blame someone who dared to question the bogus charges documented many times in thousands of their receipts over the years that are artificially inflated to cover the illegal activity of the XXXX trade. Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I applied for an American Express XXXX Card with an intro offer of receiving XXXX membership rewards points after spending {$4000.00} within 6 months. In the month of XX/XX/XXXX, I met the spending requirement of {$4000.00} within the 6 month timeframe. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted American Express to inquired about the XXXX and was told " I'm sorry, the welcome bonus offer is declined on this card account. '' and " that The eligibility of the welcome bonus depends on various cards you've had with American express. It's considered as a one time incentive who are joining the American express for the very first time. Generally, this information is provided at the time of card application in a pop up. '' I told the Amex rep that I never received the pop-up to warn me of such. The Amex rep then opened an investigation on my behalf to find the real reason for my denial. On about XX/XX/XXXX, I reached out to Amex for an update and was told that my welcome bonus was denied because I also have an Amex XXXX card. I was never informed that having another card would deny my ability to qualify for introduction bonus rewards. I submitted a complaint to Amex and was told that nothing could be done to reverse this action. I believe that this practice by Amex is unfair as I have never been an Amex customer in my life and now have a hard inquiry due to the credit application for the Amex XXXX card.

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX, AMEX increased my credit XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They said it had to do with a decrease in my credit score with XXXX. However, when I checked, I did not have a decrease in my score. I called AMEX to challenge the credit XXXX increase and was not able to get anyone that could change the XXXX back to a more reasonable level. They could not tell me the credit score that I needed to have to reduce my XXXX and they could not/ would not change my XXXX back to the previous XXXX XXXX number. I have been with AMEX for XXXX years and make > $ XXXX. I could not understand how they would treat a good customer like me in this way. There was nothing I could do to talk to someone or change the XXXX. Very frustrating. I would close the card, but the impact to my XXXX XXXX would be quite negative as I have a $ XXXX credit line with AMEX and XXXX {$2000.00} in balance at this time. I always understood that we should be able to call a credit card and they should be able to tell us what credit score we needed to have to change the XXXX. AMEX is clearly not following this and should be investigated for it's deceptive practices serving customers.

Consumer Complaint: AMEX XXXX And the FTC. These people lie about everything. When I protested they sent police. They got me put in a XXXX. We left the state because they destroyed our lives. They continued to pursue the charges relentlessly, hiding evidence of criminal fraud and passing from department to department because no one will ever hold them accountable. They are no better than the criminals. They are even worse, they process the transactions for the criminals.
