Consumer Complaint: My name is XXXX XXXX, I am filing the complaint on my own there is no third party involved. On XX/XX/2022 I sent AMEX a cease and desist letter requesting to stop all communication through all mediums. Along with this letter I sent a demand to validate the debt via another written letter. American Express has failed to comply with my request to cease all communication. I have received numerous calls and voicemails from this company since sending and them receiving my letters. I have a green certified mail receipt to prove that my letter was received on XX/XX/2022. Since this date, American Express has harassed my on numerous accounts by calling me, and emailing my person email address.

Consumer Complaint: I signed up for 'Delta Skymiles Gold Card ' from Amex on XX/XX/2021 and it says the sign up bonus would be XXXX miles given I spend {$2000.00} dollars within 90 days. However, they only gave me XXXX miles and said the the bonus offer would be that amount. They asked me for the email that describes the offer that I got but they never sent me the email regarding the promotion and I also couldn't find any information on the website either.

Consumer Complaint: We purchased airline tickets with Amex XXXX. Due to XXXX we had to cancel the flight. On XX/XX/XXXX we cancelled the flight. When cancelling the flight Amex representative told us we would be refunded our {$6600.00} to our card. Additionally they sent an email on XX/XX/XXXX that shows it will be refunded to the card with 45 days. On XX/XX/XXXX I followed up to find out the status of the credit. Amex is now claiming they never said it would be credited to account. They stated they would review the call and provided case number XXXX. We have called now multiple times to follow up on the status of this case. Originally they said that review would be done in 7-15 days. We are now over 40 days and they still have not reviewed the call. We have emailed and called repeatedly and they all end in dead end calls where they say they can do nothing. Please assist as this is a significant amount of money promised to be returned both verbally and in an email.

Consumer Complaint: I am an XXXX XXXX service member and have been since XXXX. For whatever reason when I opened my XXXX XXXX XXXX, specifically the XXXX XXXX and not the standard Platinum, American Express did not apply the Military Lending Act to that card. They have previously applied it to all other American Express cards with no problem, but for some reason did not do so when I opened this account. For the last two years I have tried several times to have them please apply the XXXX to my account with no success. Most of the attempts resulted in a response where American Express mistakenly attempted to apply the Servicemembers Credit Relief Act instead of the XXXX ( as I opened the account after entering XXXX XXXX this does not apply to me ), even when I specifically asked to be reviewed for the XXXX not the XXXX. The last XXXX attempts were successful in getting the account reviewed for XXXX eligibility, but I was then told that the XXXX database did not report I was eligible for XXXX coverage. As this confused me I logged into the XXXX database myself to check and found that I was in fact eligible for XXXX coverage according to the Department of Defense. I then proceeded to check the XXXX database to see if there was a clerical error there and found that I was also accurately reflected as being eligible for XXXX under that database as well. It was at this point I again attempted an XXXX account review with amex for my XXXX XXXX card, except this time I have not even been given a response. Can you please help me? I will attach my proof of eligibility that I received from both the XXXX and XXXX databases below. This is a dispute I have been attempting to put to rest for over two years now and would like it to be settled as soon as possible.

Consumer Complaint: I contacted American Express as they keep denying me of a Bankruptcy that was discharged in XXXX, l called today XX/XX/XXXX to ask what is the waiting period for applying based on this denied application reason in the past spoke to a supervisor names XXXX, she told me they have no information on that and said lets try the application and if denied she would get me to an new account specialist, l was denied and give a reference number XXXX which l gave XXXX and she put me on hold then game back and said l am connecting you to a new account representative, they told me the reason was the Bankruptcy, l told them that it was discharged in XXXX, and other major banks have given me credit cards and l have a A Rating on payments and a score sitting close to 700 with my credit file. He told me that as long as it shows on your report you will be denied, so my complaint is why do the application taking representatives not have that same information as one to not waste the consumers time and two not have an impact on your credit score, this is unfair and unjust. I am filing this complaint for American Express to answer and address this unethical practice.

Consumer Complaint: My compliant is regarding American Express and XXXX XXXX. I received an email invite on XX/XX/XXXX for a American XXXX XXXX Credit Card. I have been receiving this offer for sometime as my family flies XXXX a lot. It offered 12 months introductory period at 0 % APR on purchases and so I applied after some delays i was approved on XX/XX/XXXX. The account was opened XX/XX/XXXX. ( I still possess all the invitation email stating clearly 0 % APR for 12 months and it is attached ). I got the card in the mail and the was no interest on my statement for XXXX the first month, so i thought everything was fine, i notice late XXXX that America Express had charged me interest for XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, so i called the customer service immediately and i was told they would look into immediately and have everything fixed. American Express and XXXX have not looked into it as i was still charged interest in XXXX of XXXX. This is wrong and I would like American Express and XXXX XXXX to Honor the terms of the Card i applied and approved for, 0 % APR on Purchases for 12 months.

Consumer Complaint: I applied for an American Express card on XX/XX/2022. Moments later I received a denial email letting me know that i've been denied. I then called the reconsideration line after receiving that email for further clarification and they told me that I was denied based off of my age of credit. I spoke to management and let them know that based off of that reasoning that is a violation of my federally protected rights as a consumer pursuant to 15 USC 1602 ( p ) under Truth In Lending. The statute states that if the consumer receives no benefit from a consumer credit transaction then that is " unauthorized use '' of a credit card. Management then proceeded to tell me that they had authorized use to pull my credit based off of " terms and agreements ''. I then told them that denying me the right to exercise my right to extend credit is classified as discrimination under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act ( 15 USC 1691 ( 3 ) to which they denied as well. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681k under " adverse action '' no where in the statute does it state that a denial to extend credit will be based off of a consumers age of accounts.

Consumer Complaint: I have new and updated information regarding my previous complaint against American Express for denying my application for credit for an American Express XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX credit card account. I have attempted to mail American Express a request for payment of Arbitration Fees for XXXX however, the letters I have mailed to the address indicated on the Cardmember Agreement have been returned to me twice via USPS. So, I have attached the request here as American Express has violated my right to credit, discriminated against me and violated the False Claims Act by stating the reason for denial of my application was due to an XXXX XXXX from American Express account being closed due to non-payment. American Express also violated 18 U.S. Code 8.
