I have sent multiple complaints requesting a full investigation of these accounts however I have not received any proof that this investigation was completed. American Express 's stated ( among other benefits ) the following benefits for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX program : {$200.00} in statement credits each year on prepaid bookings with American Express XXXX XXXX XXXX for two {$100.00} experience credit I received the {$200.00} statement credit upon prepayment. I discovered that I was charged {$170.00} upon checkout on XX/XX/XXXX, including {$160.00} for room service breakfast for both days. I called American Express on XX/XX/XXXX, and spent 26 minutes on hold while they researched the benefits. Amex did not disclose that it will report the opened date of the account instead of the original primary account holder information as it is. They never disclosed the right information and what they reported impacted my credit score and the age of the accounts. Amex is not following the same practices that other credit card companies follow. I want to report this so that the Amex policies can be audited.
