Consumer Complaint: I had an issue with American Express Serve and Bluebird closing my accounts, they agreed to sent me checks for the remaining balances of {$140.00}. Its been over 50 days and I still havent received the checks. They sent the checks to an old address even after I sent them two letters demanding payment with my new address in the top left hand corner. There customer service phone number is a joke and mailing to a XXXX XXXX is the only option to communicate with them. If this doesnt get resolved I will be filing a Federal Class Action Lawsuit on behalf of all Serve and Bluebird past and current customers

Consumer Complaint: While I went to Delta website to book flight tickets, I saw at the payment page that I will get below benefits if I will apply and approved for The Delta SkyMiles Gold American Express credit card. I have applied and AMEX did a credit inquiry instantly, which ultimately my credit score impacted. I got the digital copy of the credit card ASAP. But I am unable to book the ticket with that card as AMEX declined the transaction of {$8400.00} of the ticket amount I was booking. When I called AMEX support they said that I have to wait 2 weeks to have the physical card to be eligible for ticket purchase beyond {$1000.00}. This is misleading and cheating to people if they have put the advertisement to apply this card to get {$400.00} statement credit and XXXX miles if one applies this credit card while purchasing ticket. Why they didn't mention that they have restriction to buy ticket beyond {$1000.00} for 2 weeks? There is no point putting advertisement to apply during booking. Since I am unable to pay {$8400.00} to buy ticket, I have used my other credit card in order to lock the ticket price. See the exact lines as below, AMEX mentioned while applying. Do they expect, that I will again book one more ticket in 6 months beyond {$2000.00} to get the benefit? Appreciate if you take action on these credit card companies for making false advertisements. Statement Credit Issued Approximately XXXX Weeks After You Make A Delta Purchase On Your Card In Your First 6 Months. Issue: Trouble using the card

Consumer Complaint: I have a BlueBird American Express Prepaid Debit Card. Log-in would not accept a saved username and password on a card I have had for 10 years. We changed the password, used it, and then it locked us out permanently holding my minor child 's money ( MY MONEY ) essentially XXXX. I have tried changing the password, I have tried opening a new account, but it doesn't port the money over. There is no customer service to call because it's automated and it only asks me to activate my card as if it is new and it's over 10 years old. I do not have a 4 digit number to give them to activate it because it is not new, then the automated service simply hangs up on me. There is no chat feature, and there is no email contact. This is not a credit card. I have not defaulted on anything. I need to get into my child 's account. They are keeping me from MY MONEY with absolutely no way to reach them. This is my child 's chore money and her card. Don't they realize this is illegal?

Consumer Complaint: I discovered fraud on my American Express platinum card in early 2022 at which point I made American Express aware of the situation. They at that time informed me they would respond to me with a resolution letter within 30 days at latest 90 days, its now been close to 10 months. I havent received a resolution letter, and I have proof from the vendor acknowledging the charges were fraudulent. American Express has not been getting back to me, even though I have had agents say they sided with me but fail to have credits post to the account. I even mailed my dispute in under the fcba and they failed to even open the claim. it took me hours on the phone to get them to reopen the claim. My ideal resolution would be for the claim to be reopened and the charges that were fraudulent to be credited back to my account.

Consumer Complaint: I have a credit card with american express under my current company XXXX. Prior to this, I also had a corporate card with my previous employer, which I closed in XX/XX/2022 when I changed employers. I have been consistently making payments to American Express over the last few months, but my bank has been sending the money to my old account. American Express never informed me of these unallocated funds sitting on a closed card. I have not received any interest on these funds that they have been keeping. Nor did they allocate the funds to the new corporate credit, even though they're under the same profile and same social security number. When I called them to find out what was going on, and I've been charged {$43.00} as a delinquency fee that they refused to waive. XXXX. They should have informed me of the funds sitting there in a closed account under the same profile. Contact details are the same. XXXX. At least provide an interest income to offset the {$43.00} delinquency charges XXXX. Transfer the money to the right account as its under the same profile.

Consumer Complaint: Good day, I sent the payment of {$700.00} through online bill pay from XXXXXXXX XXXX and the payment was sent on XX/XX/XXXX to American Express. However ; the problem was the card number in online bill pay setting was the account number XXXX that was closed ( formerly owned by XXXX american express, which transferred to XXXX in XXXX ). I didn't mean to pay to that account but since i set up online bill pay years ago, in my mind, i thought i was paying to my current american express account which is XXXX American Express said call XXXX, and XXXX said call american express. XXXX said since 2 years ago, they can no longer check former american express XXXX accounts. American Express said they can no longer check any XXXX account formerly by American express. In early XXXX, I went to the XXXX bank, i spoke with many different representatives from both American Express and XXXX XXXX XXXX including supervisors, and opened disputes. All disputes were closed without any resolution. Both financial institutions pointing at each other to contact. Then I spoke with American express dispute department the person name XXXX XXXX, he said he saw the payment came through XX/XX/XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX but since the account credited was closed, he can not touch it. He opened the dispute for me. He was very helpful ; however, i got the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX stated it will return to originator. So, i asked a representative and XXXX name XXXX if this will return to me. They both said yes, it will return to my bank. On XX/XX/XXXX, I sent a copy of the letter from american express stating the payment of {$700.00} will be returned to originator and if they received any return payment. They responded stating no. So, i called american express again and one representative was very impatient with me stating i have to have my financial institution ( XXXXXXXX XXXX ) send in writing to return the payment. Another representative said i have to contact XXXX XXXX I am being circled around and meawhile {$700.00} is lost and XXXXXXXX XXXX can not retract it, can not recall payment, American Express can not and stating call XXXX and XXXX said call American Express. I would like to get assistance to get my money back please. The case is not complicated but confusing. Please let me know if you have any questions, i may be able to explain better. I have been frustrated mentally. Please help me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, the IRS deposited {$5600.00} to our account for the XXXX Stimulus payment. We did not receive any money in that account and American Express has stated that the money was never deposited. We submitted a form around XX/XX/XXXX for the IRS to do a trace on the money and the IRS shows that the money was deposited into our account. The IRS has reached out to American Express on serval occasions with no response, we have also reached out to American Express and were told that there was no money deposited into our account.
