Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I contacted American Express customer service about not receiving my {$10.00} " AMEX DINING CREDIT '' for the month of XXXX. I made a valid purchase on XX/XX/XXXX named " XXXX $ XXXX Mon, XX/XX/2022 '' with the following details " Which Wich Total : {$15.00} Ordered : XX/XX/2022 XXXX Order number : # XXXX Contact Restaurant : ( XXXX ) XXXX ''. This XXXX transaction used my XXXX {$10.00} dining credit instead of XXXX which resulted in me not receiving credit for the transaction made on XX/XX/XXXX. The initial customer support representative was very understanding and told me not to worry. They noted this on my account and the credit will be taken as the XXXX credit instead of XXXX as they will manually credit my account for the XXXX transaction once I've made it. After I made the XXXX transaction for the AMEX XXXXining Credit, I contacted customer support on XX/XX/XXXX to manually credit the transaction. This time the customer representative was not helpful and told me they couldn't. They thought I did not understand how it works. I will provide the timeline of the transactions below : XX/XX/2022 - XXXX order placed for {$7.00} XX/XX/2022 - American Express credits my account for {$7.00} of the {$10.00} XXXX credit XX/XX/2022 - XXXX order placed for {$7.00} XX/XX/2022 - American Express credits my account for the remaining {$2.00} of the {$10.00} XXXX credit XX/XX/2022 - XXXX order placed for {$15.00} XX/XX/2022 - American Express credits my account for {$10.00} for what was supposed to be {$10.00} XXXX credit XX/XX/2022 - XXXX order placed for {$11.00} No credit received for month of XXXX XX/XX/2022 - XXXX order placed for {$10.00} XX/XX/2022 - American Express credits my account for {$10.00} for the {$10.00} XXXX credit I have receipts and further proof if needed. I do not appreciate the hassle to be able to claim this credit when I was initially told it will be given to me by the first customer representative.

Consumer Complaint: I originally booked an airline ticket through American Express XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX for myself and my son. I was alerted on XX/XX/XXXX that the airline had changed aircrafts and demoted our class of service. I called American Express travel to see what my options were, if I could cancel and rebook on another airline, depending on the price of new tickets. Without my permission the agent canceled my flight, which had cost {$2500.00}. I then had to rebook, and the new ticket was {$5000.00}, twice as expensive for a lower class of ticket. I had to rebook because the hotel reservation was nonrefundable. American Express has done nothing to remedy the situation, despite there being recorded transcripts of the call. I have been a cardmember since XXXX, and they refused to refund my annual fee when I tried to cancel, which was paid in XXXX. They should have covered the difference in ticket costs due to their agents mistake.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it XXXX concern, Bluebird has blocked/ closed my account due to valid disputes I filed. Although, Bluebird did not process my disputes. All Vendors with the exception of one, XXXX, has returned funds back to my account. I believe there has been a misunderstanding in communication between Bluebird and I and I am in need of your assistance. Please assist me in 1 ) Reopening my account as I have not violated my user agreement by filing valid disputes. 2 ) Unblock my balance of {$170.00} on my account. As well as my ability to view my transaction history. 3 ) Retrieve {$30.00}. from merchant, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as they state XXXX will only allow the financial XXXX Bluebird to return funds to customers once a dispute has been opened. Consumer Complaint: I would like to file a claim with XXXX XXXX restaurant located in XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida. The reason is that we came for dinner on XXXX XXXX at this Fine Dinning Restaurant ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) with high expectations, but surprisingly, my wifes order - Cioppino was gone bad with the shrimp extremely fishy. Consumer Complaint: On or about XXXX I opened an Amex Bluebird account for their savings-type card and general banking account. Not the prepaid debit account, the other one. After opening, I set up online access and was in the process of configuring personal info, alert settings, privacy settings etc. When I got to the Alerts preferences none were selected so they were able to be 100 % customized to my alerts needs. After configuring I clicked the Save button and moved on to the Privacy settings. When I got to the Privacy preferences, every XXXX of them ( approx. XXXX ) were pre-selected to allow Amex/Bluebird to distribute my personal data unconditionally or in other words every radio button was preselected Yes to allow Amex/Bluebird to distribute my data to whomever for whatever purpose they chose. After changing all the radio buttons to No and upon reaching the bottom of the page where the XXXXave button should be, there was no Save button. At first I tried zooming in and out to see if it would appear but it didn't. After reloading and going back then forward to see if the Privacy settings were saved, they were not. Everything defaulted back to Yes to give Amex/Bluebird total contol over my privacy and data. I have 3 decades of experience in engineering and am more knowledgable than most in the use, configuration and maintenance of PC and PC driven systems and software. I verified this Privacy problem on XXXX up-to-date browsers, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX It appears that this company placed their footer on the privacy page intentionally over the Save button so most would give up attempting to Save their Privacy choices and just let Amex/Bluebird sell and distribute their personal lives across the planet. The footer blocking the Save button only affected the Privacy Save options, none of about 6 or 7 other parts/pages of the account setup/maintenance site had this " No Save '' condition/problem. It was only the Privacy settings that couldn't be saved, I have to believe that Amex/Bluebird is gaining financially from this deceptive, unethical and probably illegal practice. Potentially, e very Bluebird account/card holder is having their data sold and distributed unconditionally against their wishes. Please verify this matter and take appropriate action against American Express/Bluebird . Thank you.

Consumer Complaint: Hi, I have an active plan with Amex for 24 months at 0 % interest rate for the original amount of {$7500.00} ( on my credit card ) Recently I paid part of the outstanding amount i.e. {$1500.00} dollars assuming it will be used against the outstanding payment ( regular credit card balance for the month ) and not the active plan. I called Amex customer care to ask them if they can use that {$1500.00} for outstanding balance for the month and not for active plan as that is not my intention. Customer service representative told that they can not do that and payment hierarchy is such that it would pay the plan balance first if I paid any extra money before the bill due date. Now this is outright deceiving the customers. To me this is common sense, Why would I want to pay off the active plan ( 0 % for 24 months ) before the outstanding balance ( XXXX dollars ). I'd like Amex to use the {$1500.00} dollars against outstanding amount and not plan balance.

Consumer Complaint: In good faith I respectful report an unforeseeable issue with Amex for my personal XXXX XXXX ending XXXX. Prior to the annual fee due date, XX/XX/2022, I advised Amex that I am NOT interested in paying the unreasonable membership fee for an account I do NOT use enough. I was clear I wanted to close the account, which I believed Amex honored as is my right to close and NOT be required to pay the annual fee. Only weeks after I find out that Amex did NOT close my account. AND charged me interest on the membership fee. Interest. Unacceptable. Then Amex claims even if I closed the account, I would be responsible for the annual fee. Claiming 30-day policy to close account. This is the problem. Amex was advised that I did NOT want to pay the annual fee, thus I do NOT want to keep the account. Close the account. Plain English. Close the account. Therefore, I want to close the account. Plain English. Instead, Amex played riddles, misleading me by misinformation that I was obligated to pay the annual fee even if I close the account. Now we are talking about a billion dollar, maybe trillions, international corporation. Playing games for XXXX Assuming me stupid. By coercion of obligation to pay fee and be charged further interest for unpaid membership fee, I involuntarily paid the XXXX Then Amex hit me with a XXXX late fee. I reiterated my original request to close my account and a full refund of my membership. The representative played with words deceiving me to believe I would receive a full refund of my membership. Amex closed my account, THEN advised me NO refund. THEN credited me the XXXX late fee. Simply stated, I deserve and want my XXXX membership refund in full.
