Consumer Complaint: I Recents really realize inquiries on my credit report that I did not authorize I have been a victim of identity theft with my ID and Social Security card was stolen I did send out letters. On XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX asking for this inquiries to be removed from my credit report that I do not authorize. customer service at XXXX or XXXX would not help correct my file by deleting the unauthorized inquiries reporting to my credit report. Consumer Complaint: I have ordered hundreds and hundreds of gift cards online via XXXX on behalf of my son 's school for teacher gifts ( for our school 's parents ' association- we get donations and we purchase cards to give out as holiday gifts, end of the year gifts and raffle gifts ). Recently- we had 3 {$100.00} gift cards come back to us with fraudelent charges. They were never lost or stolen. The charges were mostly paypal charges. It's clear that XXXX was hacked and these specific cards were compromised. I purchase all of my gift cards online. When I called to get replacement cards, I was told by XXXX on XX/XX/2023 that I have to contact the vendors ( i.e. XXXX ). However, we know that will go no where and I believe that XXXX is at faulty for not having proper security. I have been on the phone now for XXXX XXXX hours on hold as no one will address my concerns. Amex needs to stand behind their product. If our cards were compromised because of Amex 's poor cyber security, I should not have to pay for it. Card numbers : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX When I called on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX 's customer service line and bounced from agent to agent I was told that they will not replace the card and instead I need to get reimbursed by the vendor. The vendor in this case were several vendors, mostly payday in small increments probably to hide the fraud and make it difficult to track. That to me is an unacceptable resolution. I will not make 30 phone calls to try to get {$10.00} back at a time. I then escalated it to a XXXX, but she also would not replace the cards. When I asked her to transfer me to her XXXX, I waited on the phone for HOURS. When the XXXX was " ready '' and my phone call was transferred, it only sent me back to the main switchboard. I was on the phone for XXXX hours in total waiting to speak to another XXXX. This should not be my problem, I should not have to hunt down these charges. Amex should stand behind their product and send me XXXX new {$100.00} gift cards as it was their poor cyber security which compromised my cards. Consumer Complaint: I have american express rewards checking account. I scheduled an outgoing transfer from my american express rewards checking account to my ally savings account on XXXX XX/XX/2023. When i tried to confirm this transfer, American express customer service is clueless whether this transfer is happening or not? I told them multiple times but customer service of no help at the first place. On top of it, when i tried to cancel that transfer - I can't do that. Fundamentally American express is wrong that even a basic outgoing transfer is not happening. Then somebody called and talked to my spouse and making all sort of excuses like it depends on other institution. My spouse told that it was started from this american express so tell what is happening and they have no idea. This is the second time this is happening to me with this american express checking account. CFPB should not just act like mere mail forwarder and toothless agency. Ban American express from running any banking. They can only do credit cards and nothing else.

Consumer Complaint: This was a corporate account for a company I had only worked for and had not worked for them since XXXX. They and I have went to court and all accounts were dismissed, I never was an officer, I never filled out an application, I never had access to a bill or made a payment. It was provided by the company. And against n it was dismissed in court as fraud which I have the documents for. They continue to harass me by phone and email and will not take it off my credit report. Even after judge in 17 th judicial court said it was dismissed! Please help my credit has always Been in the 820s up until this fraud! It needs to be removed! The company I was employed by was XXXX XXXX XXXX! There was a president and share holders which I never was one of them. I lived next door. The bills never were sent to me or were ever paid by me or addressed to me until it was in collections! Court dismissed as fraud!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I, the consumer and natural person, was denied credit by American Express when I applied for XXXX XXXX American Express Card. Adverse action against a consumer is AGAINST THE LAW according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 U.S.C 1691c and is subject to civil liability under 15 U.S.C 1692k. You are subject to criminal liability for violating 15 U.S.C 1691 as I have proof that I was discriminated against by American Express due to the response I received. American Express is in violation of 15 U.S.C 1642, U.S.C 1681m and 12 CFR 1002 because I the consumer made an application in good faith, but credit WAS NOT issued. Also my social security number ( credit card ) was used and I received NO benefit. This constitutes fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) on behalf of American Express according to law.

Consumer Complaint: American express cancelled my card because of me having financial hardship and receiving assistance. I am requesting that american express to CEASE AND DESIST on all mediums. According 15 usc 1692c ( c ) I the consumer, the natural person, If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt. In addition, American express is in violation of the GLBA because they never was clear and conspicuous about information sharing of my non public personal information. Please prove that you provided with that. I was never given opportunity and I made uninformed decision when obtaining the card. They coerced me. When we speak on communication on all mediums a consumer report is considered a form of a communication medium also and I have the right to privacy. Demanding to cease and desist. I am not looking for phone calls from your company, do not send me a bill do not reach out to 3rd parties to communicate with me, do not email or contact me on social media. If I receive any communication from Amex on any medium directly and indirectly I will sue you for violating the fdcpa and damages. I am requesting for you to send me out correspondence by mail or through this portal that you are well aware of the cease and desist.

Consumer Complaint: I had fraudulent transactions on my card that used to end in XXXX and now ends in XXXX. I was told that they could not mail me a new physical card because all card numbers were exhausted. I was then directed to the special handling team to get a new account number. I was read a disclosure and was specifically told that I would receive a new account number within that day on XX/XX/XXXX, even though I didn't. I was also told that there would be no hit to my credit report and everything would stay the same. MY reference number is XXXX. I still have not received the new account number, and i was furthermore told today that the current account ending in XXXX will close within 5 business days of putting the request for a new account number, even though the new account number can take up to XXXX busines days to process. So now I'm basically in a situation where I may not have an american express card for some time as one account is closed and the other is still being processed. this makes no sense.

Such as Derogatory XXXX XXXX, XXXX many inquiries, proportion of loan balances to loan amount too high etc. Right away, this alarmed me because this is my second year in business and I just started to establish credit for my business. I have only one American Express Platinum with no balance! This led me to check my credit and sure enough, this company has ran my credit without my permission and this is a violation of the fair credit act! I am asking this company to remove all unauthorized inquiries on my credit, which has affected my credit score. My business is separate from my personal life and you are out of order, running my person credit to determine whether to grant me credit. I clearly stated on the applications my company name, my business EID #, the application would not let me move forward unless I put my Social security number in the field, I can remember thinking, I hope they dont dry to be slick and use my social security number and that is just what happen. I am disputing these inquiring and filing a complaint for because this is the second time this week this has happen, therefore I believe this is done in all cases when businesses apply for credit, and it is not fair, in fact, it discrimination!
