Consumer Complaint: I set up the autopay for the American Express card, but it didn't work. It still charged me late fees and interest, leaving a record on my credit report. I have contacted the customer support but it did not solve

Consumer Complaint: I paid my credit balance in full to American Express on XX/XX/XXXX. So at this point the balance is reduced to XXXX. Then on XX/XX/XXXX American Express charges me interest on my balance, but the balance is already XXXX. They charged me interest based on the assumption that I did not pay my balance in full. However the reality is I paid my balance in full two days ago. I tried to explain this to American Express on XX/XX/XXXX but they would not issue a credit for the interest charges. I would like to file a complaint to American Express to get my XXXX interest charge removed.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/XXXX, I had a statement balance due and I paid it in full. So the remaining balance is XXXX. Then on XX/XX/XXXX American Express charges me interest like I didn't pay the balance. When I asked for the interest removed, they refused. How can I be charged interest when the total balance on the card is already XXXX?

Consumer Complaint: Around XXXX XXXX, XXXX I received an American Express gift card for {$100.00} from a relative for a XXXX present. On XX/XX/XXXX I used the card for the first time at XXXX XXXX. They informed me they could only process {$70.00}. I contacted American Express immediately and they told me there were 4 other XXXX charges in the amounts of {$10.00}, {$10.00}, {$5.00}, {$5.00}. They gave me the persons name, address that made these purchases and informed me I needed to contact XXXX as they do not handle claims. I called XXXX on the same day and they said they created a complaint and I would receive an email within 10 days. I did not. I contacted them again on XX/XX/XXXX and was told these were not XXXX charges. I have spoken to two different supervisors of XXXX and spoke with American Express 3 times. Have not received a refund from either companies. I contacted both companies again today with no results. They have stated they recorded all of my phone calls. I have supporting documents with more information if needed. Again I do have the persons name, address and now have their phone number who made these fraudulent charges. Both companies have stated there is nothing they can do in refunding the {$30.00} back to the gift card. They told me I would have to file a complaint with a government office or the police. So I am filing a complaint with you.

Consumer Complaint: American Express Platinum card was locked from use after an unknown 3rd party that was not on my account, did not have access to my card, and who I have no knowledge of their existence, had an unpaid balance on THEIR DIFFERENT credit card. Again, a total stranger did not pay their bill so my unrelated AMEX Platinum was locked for ~3ish months. I paid {$690.00} for a 1 year membership and I was unable to use my card for 1/4th ( 25 % ) of that time. I have been calling and live-chatting since mid XXXX to get my card reactivated, my credit score fixed, my membership extended by the 3 months I was locked out, and my sign up bonus reinstated since I was wrongfully locked out of my account for the entire duration of the sign-up bonus. They continually tell me to wait 2-3 weeks then call back, as I have been doing for 6 months now with no resolution in sight. I would cancel my account but I would lose any chance to get my refund on the wasted, stolen membership. First Declined charge was on XX/XX/22 and no charges would process despite a {$0.00} balance and no notice of locking or anything until XX/XX/22. I've been in contact with them from XXXX with no resolution, just being told to wait.
