Consumer Complaint: I rented a car from XXXX on a monthly subscription. As per the terms I was able to cancel the monthly subscription at anytime by returning the car before the new 30 days started ( see attached ) I started the rental the XX/XX/2022 ( see attached ) and the car war returned XX/XX/2022 ( see attached ). After returning the vehicle. XXXX CHARGED ME FOR AN EXTRA MONTH on XX/XX/XXXX after the vehicle was returned. I disputed the Charge with Amex for the {$1500.00} charged on XX/XX/XXXX Dispute reference number is XXXX I'm my dispute a clearly provided evidence that I had the right to cancel the upcoming month charge by returning the vehicle before every 30 days. I provided evidence that the rental started on XX/XX/XXXX. And returned XX/XX/XXXX XXXX charged me for an extra month even though the car was returned saying I did not return it on time. It's clearly false black and white. Everything I backed up with clear documents I provided a doc that states the cancelation policy. I provided a doc that stated when I the rental started. I provided a doc of return confirmation. This is black and white if only someone in the dispute department will be willing to look on it. Not just assign blind codes The merchant was only able to provide a invoice that states i was charged the for XX/XX/XXXX day. In no way did they answer up to my claim that the car was returned on the XXXX which shows on that same statement that they themselves provided to Amex! Amex is not investigating anything. As long as the merchant responds no looks even on the document they provided. If they respond they win.

Consumer Complaint: We are senior citizens and have received between XXXX robo-calls during the last month, all using the same voice ( a male with an XXXX XXXXXXXX accent, name and subject matter usually unintelligible, sometimes claiming to represent American Express, with whom we have never done business, insisting that it is important and demanding that we call back, usually from ( XXXX ) XXXX. Some of the phone numbers showed by caller ID include : ( XXXX ) XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX. Calls come at all times of the day or night. Especially intensive bouts of calls frequently occur after we have used the Internet and have accidentally ended up on XXXX sites. We have never done business with American Express, and we never intend to do so.

Consumer Complaint: I responded to special offers sent to me by my American Express card, but never received the promised benefits. Specifically, one offer was for a {$50.00} rebate on wine bought with the card from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. When that benefit did not show up on my card, I called American Express and the representative told me that everything was in order but I just had to wait a little longer for the rebate to appear. Based on this assurance, I took advantage of a new, identical offer for the wine which I received. That purchase was on XX/XX/XXXX. I never got either of these rebates for wine, a total of {$100.00} due to me. In addition, because I got an offer for a XXXX stay, I chose a XXXX hotel and paid with my card for a stay on XX/XX/XXXX. The promised rebate for staying at XXXX and paying with American Express was {$40.00}. Again, I never got the rebate. In each of these cases I first registered my card for the offer with American Express. I have tried calling American Express on several occasions about this but never am able to get any explanation about why the rebates were not forthcoming. Finally, a supervisor said she would submit a one time courtesy payment of {$140.00}, but that never came through either. Further calls to American Express just led to a run around. I feel this special offer program is a fraud. I am owed {$140.00} by American Express.

Everything went well on the first card, then I paid them the fee and signed up for more cards. Somewhere along the line, they stopped paying me 4X points. Every time I called they said they sent me a letter, but they did not. During several of the conversations, the assistant told me that the reason I wasnt going to get my points is that they changed the program and this vendor ( XXXX XXXX ) was suddenly no longer classified as a shipping company to them. Instead, they were simply a 1X points category ( see screenshot below ). I dont have any way to export all the charges to show the total amount of points that I am due. Their website only provides me a summary, so I dont have any way to calculate exactly how many points they owe me, but it is definitely XXXX of XXXX of points they have cheated me out of. The addresses attached to my file not mine. The phone numbers attached to my file are not mine. They are knowingly and willing breaking The Fair Credit Reporting Act in multiple violations pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 1681-1681. I want all accounts listed below deleted with XXXX hours of this complaint being received. All items listed are fraudulent and inaccurate. In accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting act this information has violated my rights. 15 U.S.C 1681 section 602 A. States I have the right to privacy. 15 U.S.C 1681 Section 604 A Section 2 : It also states a consumer reporting agency can not furnish a account without my written instructions. This is in clear violation of my rights. In pursuant to 18 USC 8, I owe no debt. This company is violating my consumer right to privacy pursuant to 15 USC 1681b 2. This company also has NO permission to report ANYTHING using my information pursuant to 15USC1681 XXXX Credit report found unverifiable, invalidated, inaccurate, and questionable items that your agency did not make sure it was reporting 100 % correct. Consumer Complaint: I called American Express on XX/XX/ to report an issue where an elderly XXXX patient accidentally used the points on my card to purchase something. The purchase has been canceled but I never got the points back. The agent proceeds to act like a complete XXXX and cancel all of my credit cards even though I told him they werent compromised and the issue only affected one card. They told me I could call a different line and get temporary numbers emailed to me. I called the other line they told me they couldnt do anything and I was screwed to go get a credit card with another company to use until my new ones come in. And kept telling me how this was for my own good and theyre doing me such a favor and giving me a ton of benefit. I also found out she was lying and i could get the numbers emailed to me online. Then on the morning of XXXX I logged into my Amex account to check when the new cards would be arriving and to get my numbers. I tried to login again 30 minutes later with the exact known working password which probably due to a server issue said it was incorrect and locked my account. I called customer support who told me they couldnt unlock my account until I got my new physical cards. So I cant even login to pay my bill or activate the new cards. American Express customer service has gone out of there way to XXXX me multiple times this year. They purposely go out of there way to make things difficult on customers and act like XXXX during the entire process. Theyve basically locked me out of using every card I pay an annual fee for.

Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern, You already have copies of my statements from a prior report, copies from the past year that I just recently demanded and received from American Express Blue. Let it be known that I was communicating with a XXXX, recorded on their end, who submitted a stack of statements from the past year because I wasn't receiving them. These statements were requested several times to no avail. Upon our discussion, I asked what my interest rate was and he said it was XXXX percent. I asked why when I was at XXXX percent nor did I receive any notification of such interest increase because I did not have my past statements. He said, the promotional rate has expired and based on the economy, they are required to raise the interest. I understood to a certain extent based on the economy. However, I filed a complaint thereafter based on this and now in my XXXX, XXXX ( finally received ), my interest rate jumped from XXXX to XXXX percent, On the XXXX, XXXX statement the interest jumped again from XXXX to XXXX percent. If this isn't retaliation than I don't know what is. This does not happen! A full investigation is necessary and I would appreciate it if you would ask them for the telephone recording as well as the XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX, XXXX statements. Those letters received from my past complaint were never sent to me! Ironically, you were sent copies of letters and statements that I have been requesting and only to be told, the post office may have lost it. Surely, the postman isn't perfect, but to tell me that in entire year the postman lost an entire year 's worth of statements is unconscionable!
