Consumer Complaint: To whom it may concern : I received a copy of my XXXX credit report, and I noticed some late payments on my credit report : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Your company is in clear violation of the law. Under 15 U.S.C. 1681 ( b ) permissible purpose of consumer reports, THE LAW CLEARLY STATES : ( a ) IN GENERAL Subject to subsection ( c ) any consumer reporting agency may furnish a consumer report under the following circumstances and no other : ( 2 ) In accordance with the written instructions of the consumer to whom it relates. Did I give you written instructions to furnish this on my credit report? Consumer Complaint: American Express continues to deny me access to capital when I apply for lending products. I have been a customer since XXXX with no missed payments or accounts going to collection. The message I receive when I apply for new lines of credit or credit line increases states : I am past due with another creditor as reported by the XXXX credit bureau. This information is false I have submitted appeals to American Express with updated and accurate credit reports from XXXX that reflect my accurate credit profile. This practice has taken place since XX/XX/XXXX, when my existing accounts are being impacted, having my credit limits lowered. I have spoken to American Express 's Responsible Lending Department ( RLA ), Credit Department, Open Accounts Department, Customer Service, and Underwriting Department. All departments have failed to resolve the ongoing issue and just pass me along to the next representative, having me on the phone for 1-2 hours each time with no resolution.

Consumer Complaint: I have been a victim of identity theft /fraud I have report this over and over to American Express and XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and also XXXX bank I did not sign up for these cards. To save my XXXX XXXX, I went on payment plans. I needed to move out of my home. I have an active DVRO against my ex wife. She likely signed up for these cards without my permission. I have reported this to all the credit card companies. I have reported Fraud through my XXXX account. These credit card companies call me repeatedly to a point of me having a mental break down. I can not afford the debt, and I did not sign up for these cards. I never gave approval. I never even held these cards in my hand. My court filings also state this. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I am demanding a copy of the application that was signed opening up this credit card. I want IP addresses, and proof from AMEX that I applied and wanted this credit card. I have never held it, used it, ever. This was opened by my ex wife without my permission! I demand proof that I opened this account, gave permission to open this account ( i did not ) and with a copy of the application with my signature. This is fraud committed by my ex wife. It does not matter if I lived under the same roof as her, I never gave permission to open any cards in my name! Please provide what I am asking for. I am on a payment plan for this card only to save my XXXX XXXX as I needed to move out of the residences per court order. I should never have done this, as Amex thinks that I am taking responsibility for this payment. I have not opened this card, used it, authorized anyone to open this in my name. I have never held this card in my hand, and do not know anything about it. I want this removed from my credit report and not be responsible for paying this anymore. Please I beg you all, to provide what I am asking for. I need proof from Amex that I authorized this card. I want to see my signature on the application. This is fraud! Please seek the truth in this matter. I simply can not keep paying for something I never opened up, used, or benefited from in any shape or form. I am paying on payment plan {$650.00} which is legit the other {$230.00} payment plan per month is not. That is the one I am referring to.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022, my credit card balance doubled in size due to an unexpected charge from XXXX and XXXX XXXX. I had previously stayed at this resort in XXXX of 2022, however ; I had prepurchased my trip through XXXX XXXX in XXXX 2022. The trip was all-inclusive. As such, the trip included airfare, shuttle, lodging and meals. Nevertheless, American Express allowed XXXX and XXXX to successfully process a charge on my credit card months after my visit without my authorization and no documented evidence or expressed consent of this charge. When I disputed this charge, AMEX requested that I show documentation of me previously paying for this trip, in which I did. They also further reviewed and noticed that the resort had previously credited my account, and I explained that I serious hospitality issues ( discriminatory allegations ) with the resort while on my vacation, in which they compensated me for my stay. AMEX noticed a debit of {$150.00} from my card while at the resort, in which I DID authorize, because I wanted to upgrade my room while at the resort from the XXXX XXXX to the XXXX XXXX ( {$50.00} per night surcharge ). However, AMEX never overturned the $ XXXX charge that was made against my credit card in XX/XX/2022. Throughout the dispute process, I was extremely frustrated as I could not fully understand my case XXXX, and vice versa, the case XXXX was speaking highly technical seemly to place this issue on me. It does not make sense why would AMEX allow a cardholder to be charged something under such circumstances previously communicated and without proof of authorization. Further, I purchase this trip in the XXXX. All incidentals ( i.e. {$150.00} room upgrade ) were paid for while at the XXXX. Why would AMEX allow another business, a non-US business to predatorily charge my account, doubling the balance blindly without warning, without notification and/or without research on AMEX 's part onto a long-standing customer 's account? This charge was out of my customer risk profile and purchasing habits, and should have triggered preventative fraud controls before this charge ever reached my credit card. To make matters worse, AMEX was wanting me to reach out to the merchant to ascertain the charge? Shouldn't this be AMEX 's responsibility as part of dispute? Months later, months after my stay and the incident. I left the hotel with no business card, no direct number, and no incident report.

Consumer Complaint: In XX/XX/2022 I paid American express {$4200.00} for a bill that was meant for my XXXX XXXX XXXX. I contacted American express around XX/XX/2022 and asked for them to send me back the money. They said they would send me a check with in XXXX to XXXX days. I called them XX/XX/XXXX and told them I had not received the check and they said they made a mistake and did not mail it. That they would be sending me a check and I could expect it in XXXX to XXXX days. I asked for a supervisor and asked if they could wire me the money. They said they only can wire money after they attempt to send the check. I told them they already tried to send a check and failed. He refused to send me a wire transfer and said " checks in the mail ''. XX/XX/XXXX I called again and said I did not receive my money. They said that the check for whatever reason was not send out. I asked to have the money wired to me and they said they would do that and said I would receive the money in XXXX to XXXX days. I did not receive the wired money. It is now XX/XX/XXXX I am on hold with Amex on my XXXX call to them asking them where my money is. They said it still has not been sent and I am on hold waiting for them to give me a response. I think this is criminal that they can hold my {$4200.00} XXXX and not return my money. I feel helpless and I feel taken advantage of. How many people do they do this to. How many millions of dollars are they holding XXXX making money off my money and purposely doing this to make additional profit. I have bills to pay and just went thru the holiday and I am getting desperate. I am hoping you can take some sort of action against this company and fine them for this behavior so they don't do this to any other people. I don't know if I have any recourse against this company. Any help you can provide me would be greatly appreciated.
