Consumer Complaint: I made a purchase on XX/XX/30 for to an attorney for XXXX USD and Amex never returned the credit for the voided transaction. As of XX/XX/XXXX the monies was pending crediting to my account and now the transaction of the monies are completely wiped out /deleted from my account history and is not listed in my statement or any documentation that the monies has provided to me. Amex kept my money and decreased my limit and did not provide my XXXX back to my account.. In addition Amex baited and lied to me when I accepted the Amex platinum business and blue card. I had an Amex platinum card set at no limit now Amex has decreased my limit without warning or rationale for all of my card. Without reason since I pay more than what is owed on my account and I am never late. However when I received my business card the limit was first XXXX then less than 30 days it was XXXX and has been decreasing my credit ever since without reason. I pay the fees and charges on time and have never been late. Amex falsely advised me to spend XXXX on the business card to earn XXXX but afterwards decreased my limit as a penalty to their incentive for me to spend. ALL of my cards now have reduced limits and does not allow me to use any of my cards to the full limit. Amex never advised me if I got any credit card that they would reduce my limits and treat it like it was one card even if I pay my credit cards on time. Amex is intentionally abusing my rights as a credit card holder by forcing me to 3 cc from Amex as one overall account like they have are tied together and only have one limit. I have neve4r had this done I have a XXXX account and the limit is XXXX they do not reduce the limit if I spend XXXX on my freedom card but Amex does this without warning or a transparency. Amex also attempted to us info from my bank accounts without my authorization to create a profile on me and my business and falsely categorized my spend from one business account as a source for all of my business activity. Amex mislead me as a customer my offering Amex cards and then reducing my overall credit amount after I accepted the offer, IN addition amex does not allow me to modify my payment when I initiate payment if an error occurred. On more than one occasion a payment was initiated that could not be reversed, deleted or modified because Amex had locked this feature from my account. So if I make an error Amex freezes my account and uses it as an excuse to lock all of my accounts while charging me for services that I have no access to. Amex is racist they took advantage of a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and made our credit fluidity restrictive by using false and misleading practices to have me spend money and then penalized me after I spent the money by reducing my credit limit even though I have never been late and often pay above the minimum amount due!!

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023, I filed a complaint with amex, I think they cheated me. When I applied for the Amex Hilton Aspire credit card before, I clearly remembered that I applied for the card because they claimed that they would give away XXXX XXXX points when they spent {$4000.00} with the credit card in the first three months. I applied through a friend 's referral link, but my application was not accepted because they said I didn't have an SSN so I had to call to apply. I then successfully applied over the phone, and they didn't mention that I was ineligible for the Welcome Offer ( this is in conflict with Amex saying : they reminded me that I was ineligible, because I believe their calls were recorded ). I filed a complaint with Amex, but they don't think they have a problem. I actually don't care about the Hilton points that this credit card welcome bonus gives, I just think that not everyone is willing to spend time fighting for the rights they deserve with big companies because of this trivial matter. As a result, a large company like Amex has a lot of loopholes to exploit when implementing the bonus mentioned in the promotional advertisement. Amex can make an excuse, but in many cases, just like when I applied for this credit card, Amex failed to fulfill its duty of disclosure.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I have received an email from 'American Express ' today afternoon at XXXX XXXX that I've been approved for a new Card, but I never requested for this credit card. Action taken : 1. Since I have NOT applied for any credit card so I called American Express to report this as a Fraud and got this card canceled. I have also asked them to raise an investigation to look into this further. 2. I have also called XXXX to report this fraud activity and raised a dispute. I did a credit Freeze too. 3. Credit Freeze is also done with XXXX and XXXX XXXX 4. I tried to notify the Federal Trade Commission ( FTC ) of the fraud which lead to this CFPB - The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau submission request

I have many disputes everywhere and they have all been in my favor so far, through investigation I found out that XXXX XXXX XXXX stole my identity open accounts everywhere, did a lot of fraud with my name and my credentials. One of mean American Express when I went to XXXX I left my American Express paid off, I had it set to be automatically payments every month, this person went ahead and charge American Express then went back into my XXXX account and made five manual payment in the month of XXXX equaling over {$14000.00}, XXXX XXXX found out about this situation and told me they were not liable. American Express was all they did was pay the bill. I had set up that way. American Express keeps giving me the runaround I have given them all the documents proof of XXXX the letter from XXXX from the investigation. They have all the documents needed. They keep telling me that they dont they dont but when I call they do in the promise me they will get back to me and nobody does, then a few days later, I get an email or a letter saying my front claim is closed due to lack of documentation.. I am not disputing my account that is now closed. I am disputing. The five payments made in the month of XX/XX/2022 equaling over {$14000.00}. I am enclosing a letter from the bank that gives you the routing number of the payments how they were made, this is all information that American Express has already, they have my phone number they have my account number they have my email and theyre saying that they can not get a hold of me which is a lie
