Consumer Complaint: Thank you for reading my complaint. When I was buying a plane from XXXX XXXX website, I saw a button to apply for XXXX XXXX credit, powered by AMEX platinum. The ads said it's instance apply and install paying and I can use the new credit card to pay for my XXXX plane ticket. The credit card does come with a membership fee but I thought it worth it since I was purchasing a XXXX plane ticket. However, the website froze as I clicked the button. I received an email saying applying succeeded but I still can't the purchase the plane ticket. I called AMEX and they said the new account department was closed. I called the next day to AMEX and they said I can't use the instant card to pay for my plane ticket. I have to wait for my new card. I ended up paying for the plane ticket with another card. I called AMEX and XXXX later on. AMEX said I won't get the reimbursement, have to pay for the card membership. XXXX said I can't cancel the previous payment and use my new card to pay. Because it's the website froze, technical problem, I think either XXXX should switch the payment to AMEX or AMEX should return the reimbursement as it said on the website.

Consumer Complaint: I, the consumer and natural person, was denied credit by American Express when I applied for a whatever your applied for Blue Cash Preferred from American Express Cardmember Agreement. Adverse action against a consumer is against the law according to the Equal Credit Opportunity Act which is codified in 15 USC 1691c and is pursuant to civil liability under 15 USC 1692k. American Express is subject to criminally liability for violating 15 USC 1691 as I have proof that I was discriminated against by American Express due to the response I received in adverse action letter. American Express is in violation of 15 USC 1642, USC 1681m and 12 CFR 1002 because I, the consumer tendered valuable completed application in good faith, but credit was not issued. Furthermore, because my social security account number ( credit card ) was used and i received NO benefit. This is proof of fraudulent activity ( unauthorized use of credit card ) by fiduciary, American Express.

I attended my new dentist yesterday who XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. You now have photos and a new Report from XXXX XXXX. There are no XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. You also have a witness statement to the fact that XXXX XXXX up was made. You also have XXXX XXXX full report You also have Yearly membership that is on my bill. That shows ive been double billed for XXXX and evaluation as its included in yearly membership You also have letter from XXXX finally after 7 months admitting the NO XXXXXXXX XXXX was done. However I was not refunded off of the {$16000.00} bill they sent me. Amex gave me a credit based on XXXX XXXX Report snd it should still stand. XXXX had no new information so there was no reason to re bill me.

I noticed on that I have 3 pending payments. So I cancelled two of them. I contacted customer service through chat, who assured me that only one payment went through. ( see screenshots ) However, no payment went through and I was charged a late fee. I would like the late fee refunded because I tried to make my payment in good faith. I contacted AMEX through chat and phone and no one was able to help me.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022, I made purchase of the XXXX XXXX XXXX solid gold watch for the amount of {$54000.00} from XXXXXXXX XXXX in florida with American express credit card. The watch was shipped next day under tracking XXXX. Upon receiving the watch on XX/XX/2022, I realized there is no warranty card along with the watch as seller states. I insisted return right away. Seller agreed with my return and provided XXXX label under tracking XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I dropped off my return at XXXX store located in XXXX. And the watch was delivered back to seller on XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX confirmation. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted Seller and was told that they had not received the watch. I called XXXX with the confirmation sent to seller to verify. But seller insisted they never received the watch. After 3 weeks talking back and forth with seller, I opened a dispute with American Express with the reason- return but no refund provided. After first dispute opened, Amex stayed on seller 's favor as shipping weight did not match with the weight on the box. I argued with Amex that seller provided shipping label for 1 lbs. but provided return label for 2lbs. But my actual return is 6lbs because seller shipped my XXXX watch in an envelope. I was nicely putting return in a nice box with all bubble wrap to make sure no damage occurred during transit. Also, the first shipment they delivered to me was 6lbs. Then there is no reason why Amex stayed on seller 's favor. After my dispute was closed, I reopened dispute with Amex again but Seller claimed they received wrong item. At the beginning of dispute, seller was dispute by stating shipping weight did not match to get my return and money. Now they said they received wrong item with AmEx but did not provided any proof of wrong item. Amex closed my case again without explanation even though seller clearly seems fishy on my return. After few months back and forth with Amex dispute, I provided everything as proof to support dispute. At the end of dispute, Amex were telling me there is nothing they can do to help me. Because this was the fact that XXXX lost package which can be understood as third party revolved in this issue, they could not do anything. But once I contacted FedEx for claim and verification, they stated that I must be shipper to resolve this issue. The fact that XXXX lost package. But to open claim with XXXX, I have to be shipper. But Seller insisted they would not open claim with XXXX. Then Amex always states with Seller sides even though everything was clear to them. And Amex later claims that XXXX is the reason why I lost the dispute. Even they promised that They will help me to resolve this issue. Amex is clearly putting me on the edge of loss with this case.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I contacted American Express to close out a small low interest earning CD that has not reached maturity date. I was instructed to submit a form via fax or mail to close out the account. I faxed in my request on XX/XX/2023 indicating I wanted to close out the CD and have all funds transferred to my American Express High Interest savings account. I have called at least 3 times and faxed in my form numerous times. As of today, XX/XX/2023, the funds have not been transferred. When I called yesterday, I was told it could take up to XXXX more days. This is unacceptable for an internal transfer between accounts at the same institution. I don't know of any bank that would allow me to use their money for any length of time without charging me daily interest. I am losing money each day that I am not allowed access to my funds. It says funds had to deposited by XXXX XXXX. I opened the high yield savings account in my name and a deposit was made in the amount of {$25000.00} on XXXX XXXX. The money was held in the account through XX/XX/XXXX as this was one of the requirements. The bonus email was sent to my name and email address. I opened the savings account with that same name and email. I did not already have a savings account with American Express. I was not named on any other bank account with American Express. I called about my bonus on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX and today XX/XX/XXXX. All they can tell me is they will send the complaint to another department. Which they have said before and nobody has got back to me to tell me how I have not complied to get the sign up bonus.
