Issue: Trouble using the card
Subissue: Trouble getting information about the card
Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2023 I attempted to log onto my Amex Bluebird dashboard but was met with an error code In response, I contacted customer service and went through the usual protocols to confirm my identity, I then went on to explain that I could not access my Bluebird Dashboard interface thus I could not access my account information to perform payments, transfers or deposits to various vendors. I also explained that I had attempted to access this information utilizing various Internet Browsers but that I still received the same results, I then questioned if there was a problem with the Website or if this was an issue directly related to my account only. At this point I was placed on hold for approximately 20 minutes after which I was told they could not rectify my problem but they would have to escalate the problem to get it resolved. At this point, I asked to be connected to a Technical Support ( in the hope of at least learning a reason or receiving a time line for resolution ). I held the line for 15 minutes with no further involvement from anyone, at which point I disconnected the call and attempted to contact a representative to get connected to Tech Support. On my second call, I went through the exact same process again with the same results. At this point, dealing with Customer Service had cost me close to an hour and a half of wasted time so I went online to obtain some way to contact American Express corporate. I was able to obtain a phone number and was connected to a corporate representative. After explaining my predicament, she assured me that she would relay my issues to Bluebird customer service and they would resolve my problem. After holding another 20 minutes I was again connected to a Bluebird representative, and yet again subjected to the exact same routine. At this point, I had been dealing with the Bluebird customer service department for well over two hours and was still no closer to getting an answer ( or a resolution ) to my problem. In the spirit of in for a penny, in for a pound, I gave it a final college try. I made one final call to Bluebird and once I was connected to a representative, I requested that I not be place on hold under any circumstances and we went through the exact same routine as I had already endured three time prior ( with the final result being EXACTLY the same. At this point, I have decided to refer this problem to a higher authority. I had believed that once I connected to your corporate office, that a resolution was right around the corner, evidently I was incorrect. Whats more interesting to me is the fact that after reporting this issue to four separate representatives ( that swore that they would escalate this problem to resolution ), even after 10 business days have passed absolutely nothing has changed nor have I received any notification of why I cant access my account information.

Issue: Getting a credit card
Subissue: Application denied
Consumer Complaint: 1. I have recently submitted an application to American Express and was denied access to my personal credit due to my private non-public information unlawfully granted to you by credit reporting agencies. 2. My application is a written request for an extension of credit that is made in accordance with procedures used by a creditor for the type of credit requested - 12 CFR Subchapter A part 202. Per your prospectus report, after my application is submitted it is then purchased at a discount rate it is converted into a receivable/treasury marketable security i.e. trust asset per. 3. How and why have I been denied credit? Per the Federal Reserve Act Section 16 ( 2 ), whereas it states " In no event shall such collateral security be less than the amount of Federal Reserve notes applied for. ", I the consumer should not have been denied credit. 4. Per the FCRA, you have employed socioeconomic discrimination against me the consumer. The information American Express used to judge my 'creditworthiness ' was personal non-public information gained by a third party company and by doing so American Express XXXX adverse action against me has caused injury and emotional damage for I have not been able to acquire the things needed for my personal developments and growth. I have been distraught due to these actions against me. 5. Per the Prospectus Report of American Express, there it states that " The primary assets of the trust are receivables in designated consumer American Express credit card accounts and Pay Over Time revolving credit features associated with certain American Express credit card accounts and, in the future, may include other charge or credit accounts or features or products. * The receivables consist of principal receivables and finance charge receivables. '' 6. Knowing all this information, how and why was I in any way discriminated against and denied open-ended credits as I have given American Express legal tender i.e. my tendered, endorsed and signed application? Does the policy of American Express grant it the authority to break the coded rules of 42 USC 1981 whereas it states I have the right to the enjoyment and benefit of my contract? Does the policy of American Express grant it the authority to omit key material information while using legal and highly technical business terminology? 7. Extrinsic fraud is an act of deception or misrepresentation outside the event itself which deprives the victim of material information or participation. Failing to inform the account holder [ omission ] of key material facts during the IPO is securities fraud. My original promissory note served as an application which American Express converted into a receivable/trust asset. This information has never been made known to me by American Express. 8. If I, the consumer may have given American Express authorization and/or Power of Attorney privileges with or without proper consideration, written, unwritten, verbal or non-verbal, I hereby revoke all authority and rescind American Express ' security interest. 9. Per the Prospectus Report of American Express, there it states that " The certificates will evidence undivided beneficial interests in the trust assets allocated to such certificates, representing the right to receive from such trust assets funds up to ( but not in excess of ) the amounts required to make payments of interest and principal in the manner described below. The certificates will be available for purchase in minimum denominations of {$100000.00} and integral multiples of {$1000.00} in book-entry form ... Payments of interest and principal will be made on each related interest payment date to the certificateholders in whose names the certificates were registered on the last day of the calendar month preceding such interest payment date, known as the record date. '' Therefore, if the application/securities/receivables are registered in my name, then all interest and dividends are due to me the consumer. Does it state anywhere in your policy that American Express has the right to extort and steal from the consumer? The actions of American Express against me are actionable per se. If the your answer to this complaint is served upon me by an attorney or any member of the XXXX XXXX XXXX, I would hope they heavily consider their oath whereas it states " I solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of attorney, and that I will conduct myself at all times with integrity and civility. '' Any action against this oath is misconduct and actionable per se.

Consumer Complaint: I received an American Express gift card around XXXX and have since tried to use it online and in person at many different locations. No matter what I do, it is not accepted anywhere. I have tried to contact American Express, but I get stuck in a loop with a robot on the phone. The first place I spent it, XXXX, charged a different account of mine because the gift card suddenly declined. I cant get in contact with anyone, and from reports I've seen online, this is a common problem with the American Express gift cards.

Consumer Complaint: I was gifted XXXX XXXX XXXX gift card by my employer on XX/XX/2023. I can see the card was purchased the day prior on XX/XX/2023 of {$500.00} each. On XX/XX/XXXX I was able to use one of the cards just once and have not been able to since I have tried both online and in store and no luck. There is a balance of {$350.00} on one card and {$500.00} on the other that I am unable to use I have tried XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, XXXX, XXXX and all declined. I called customer service and they advised me that maybe there is not enough funds but I stated there is more than enough ( {$850.00} ) and they said they can not help me. The representative then came back and said it was due to their security measures on the card... I then asked him why wouldn't the card work online ( where most websites ask for the security code and expiration date ) and he responded use the card somewhere else. These XXXX XXXX prepaid gift cards clearly state they can be used anywhere XXXX XXXX is accepted but this is false and they are defrauding consumers and putting out FALSE advertising. All of the retailers I attempted to use these cards through all accept XXXX XXXX but the cards didn't work and customer service couldn't not assist or give an answer as to why the cards are not working ... after being put on hold on and off for an hour, he then came back and said he would give a check refund for both cards and took my name, email and address down. He stated I would get an email in 2-3 business days to complete the steps but I have not received anything. Now when I try to call to check the balance on the cards, it states there is an issue with the cards ... This is {$1000.00} they are holding... I filed a complaint through the state and XXXX XXXX.

Consumer Complaint: XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX the authorized representative of the persons/entities, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX, XXXX, am writing this letter of complaint to the Consumer Financial Credit Bureau and Securities & Exchange Commission, concerning securities fraud, by way of, stealing principal , dividend , and interests payments on debt securities, submitted to the AMEX, for the above accounts. The above principal name, XXXX XXXX, previously named, XXXX XXXX, has been an investor with AMEX since XXXX. Since then, the principal, has been issued several other instruments/cards. The principal/agent, who is also an investor, issued security instruments, a first series, XX/XX/XXXX, certified number XXXX, attention XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who is the CXXXX XXXX XXXX for AMERICAN EXPRESS XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, responded to the instruments, with dishonor. A second series of security instruments was sent to the indentured Trustee, to the attention of XXXX XXXX, who is the XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, certified number XXXX, delivered date, XX/XX/XXXX. No response has been received, in such, its a conditional acceptance. A third series of security instruments were sent for the above accounts, to another address released on the Indentured Agreement, submitted on the Securities & Exchange Commission website, certified number, XXXX, expected to deliver XX/XX/XXXX. Considering no response and conditional acceptance, and rendering extra payments on debt securities, of which as an investor, has not received payments, dividends, or interests on. According to the AMEX prospectus report, the company attracts what is defined as consumers, and access the trust, by use of their credit, by way of the social security number, which is obtained through an application, which is a debt instrument ( commercial paper ). The prospectus continues to explain how debt securities, to include receivables are pooled, and converted into other types of debt securities, with the interests and payments issued to the person whose name is on the debt security. According to banking procedures, the name would be the original creditor associated with the SSN and trust. When the debt securities are securitized and sold as shares and stocks, the creditor became the investor, holding the rights of the issued debt securities. Furthermore, according to the Indentured Act was implemented to enforce the bondholders interests. Securities were sent to the Indentured trustee, with no response. The cardholder agreement when the instrument was issued, states that, payments in the form Floating rate notes, Federal Reserve Notes, and Negotiable instruments are accepted as forms of payments, to receive the interests and dividends on the security instruments, sold on the primary and secondary markets. For almost 20 years, security interests was rendered to AMEX, and refusal to render and issue payments, is securities fraud. A security interests was tendered, which is an obligation of the United States, which gives it a valuable consideration. In addition, securitizations of the debt securities, by transferring the rights to a third party, without consideration of the original holder of the note, of which the notes have fully performed its obligations. I seek remedy by receipt of the payments, dividends, and interests on the debt securities, and unlocked credit.
