Consumer Complaint: American Express has threatened through an American Express XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to place my account in collections. I am writing to request that my account remain out of collections until XX/XX/XXXX. I expect to make an appropriate payment by that specific date.The current payment due date is XX/XX/XXXX. I was threatened in advance by XXXX XXXX, a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, in reference to interference involving my American Express credit card account. XXXX XXXX claimed that his father worked as a physician and caused severe injury when I was a baby. I have reason to believe his claim is at least partially true. I do not recognize that the father of XXXX XXXX earned any medical degree. XXXX XXXX claimed there was an insurance policy where I was awarded a {$500000.00} payment, yet I could not accept the payment because of my age at the time. XXXX XXXX laughed at me claiming his father illegally cashed the {$500000.00} check meant for me, and his family lived off of the money. XXXX XXXX communicated that he would allow American Express to pay for the {$500000.00} debt through various forms of illegal influence and bias. While all dispute and fraud claims I have made to American Express are true, I was often harassed by American Express when communicating in reference to disputes. More recently, I understand that programming language was used to close my American Express account. I discussed using programming language with XXXX XXXX for the purpose of communicating with American Express customers. XXXX XXXX communicated that he sold my ideas to American Express. I do not recognize that I could have made any statement to keep my American Express account open, since the programming language disallows keeping my account open. I communicated to American Express that there was threatened tampering in reference to available checking account funds for payment. I believe checking account funds should have been available for payment the day my American Express account was closed. I am a XXXX person according to Social Security since XXXX. My XXXX is associated with injuries that others have caused me. I have experienced regular stalking, harassment, threats, carried out threats, drugging without consent, and various forms of physical injury caused by others. I am having severe difficulty maintaining the pace of American Express demands, particularly since numerous individuals are flipping drug filled liquid drops on me in public. I believe that American Express has caused me difficulty in an attempt to prevent me from receiving loan funding to attend a graduate university. My actual net worth should easily exceed XXXX XXXX dollars based on the value of copyrights I should own for original music lyrics that were illegally copyrighted. Instead, I am in debt. Please allow me a XXXX time accommodation until XX/XX/XXXX per the Americans with XXXX XXXX to prevent my American Express account from being sent to collections. I have received 150 % and 200 % XXXX time accommodations from a graduate university in recent years.

I have been a member for 15 years, and have not missed any payments. I pay the account on time or before the due date. I checked my credit report and there is nothing on there that is delinquent.

Consumer Complaint: I have made a purchase of Business class ticket with XXXX XXXX using my American express credit card. On the flight before departure I received a call that XXXX XXXX forgot to book the Business meal and as compensation they will provide me XXXX usd on the mode of payment at the counter at check in instead of money they have a letter saying XXXX will be given by XXXX XXXX after the flight I have contacted them several times to that I do not need points and it was agreed that they will credit my original mode of payment as I do not have an account and don't want it. After a lot of back and forth I gave up on them and contacted the American express to retrieve my money they initially credited my account based on the information which I provided subsequently I have provided them with all the evidence and written communication between myself and XXXX XXXX. After about XXXX weeks time I recieved a letter from American express that they have reapplied the charge on my credit card account based on the info provided by XXXX XXXX. I have called them and verified with them that have they checked my evidences provided for which I was told " oh nobody looked at it " and they said we were told by XXXX that they have provided you points and money which is totally untrue I have no account of this payment or points and American express reversed the payment based on false statement from XXXX XXXX. I'm unhappy with American express because they reversed payment without any proof of points and payment. The letter provided from American Express is also unclear. Hence I'm reporting them as well.

Consumer Complaint: My daughter was given an {$20.00} AmEx gift card for her birthday. Unfortunately every place that we have tried to use it has been declined. I tried contact their toll free number but was disconnected. After searching online I see multiple XXXX posts with this same issue. If these cards are not able to be used in large stores like XXXX, XXXX or online retailers then they should no longer offer them. A purchase for XXXX was recently declined. It appears that their customer service just tell customers to try a different retailer which is ridiculous. Can we just get a refund for {$20.00} since we can't seem to use it anywhere. Consumer Complaint: Once again, American Express has suspended my access to my BlueBird and Serve prepaid cards which is an automatic action their algorithm does. They sent an email like last time ( see previous CFPB complaint in which they reactivated my cards ) requesting me to provide verification of my ownership of an external debit card ( a XXXX XXXX debit card, supported by XXXX XXXX partner institution XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX that I linked to my Serve account. This request cant be answered as it requires me to log in to my online account for my Serve account which also gets suspended when the card is. There is therefore *NO* way to resolve the issue with them. The violation their system is detecting is use of their card for creating spend which I am absolutely not doing.
