I have a loan with ALLY FINCL and I tried contacting 3 Credit Bureaus requesting a complete payment history with this account for me to review the exact date on which the charge-off was posted. Unfortunately, there was no successful resolution provided nor feedback heard from the concerned Bureaus. There was definitely an error on their part. Please re-investigate this account or simply remove this account PRONTO.

Consumer Complaint: My husband and I applied for a jumbo mortgage from Ally Bank. We have XXXX credit, putting 20 % down, debt to income ratio ( including the mortgage we applied ) is below 20 %. Our loan was conditionally approved within a few days. I was told that we are just waiting for third parties - appraisals, title, otherwise we are good to go. However, Ally later found out that I applied for the federal COVID related forbearance plan and denied our application. I applied for the forbearance program in XXXX. While I was in the forbearance program, I didn't make my XXXX mortgage payment but I started making payment in XXXX ( made XXXX payments in XXXX ) and XXXX and the property was sold in XXXX, 2021. My reason for going to forbearance was because I was worried about losing childcare services and was considering taking an unpaid leave from work to care for my son. Fortunately, I secured child care and stayed at work full time. The loan officer explained to me that Ally has to look into each mortgage forbearance in the past 24 months but they have an exception for COVID related forbearance. They denied my application the following day. I would like to find out who went into forbearance got approved. In my case, I missed one month mortgage payment ( but caught up the following month ) and my property was sold 3 months before I applied for the mortgage.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 my lease with ally was paid off due do an insurance claim. I received multiple calls after about a balance that was owed for XXXX after the payoff. I did not understand why there was a balance and rep could not explain either so I asked for a detailed letter explaining the charges.I did however make a payment for XXXX after the just so I wouldn't have any collections hit my credit report. In XXXX I received a detailed breakdown of fees and it explained that the balance was my insurance deductible which I had believed I would've received a bill from my insurance company. Which left me skeptical, so I reach out to my insurance company to verify which I told Ally I was going to do. Once I received confirmation paid Ally off. The following month XXXX my correct report showed I had been in collections since XXXX for XXXX. I called Ally to dispute and to no avail no a soul understood what I was talking about they just kept saying my account is paid off in good standing but in fact it's not and this has hurt my credit score tremendously. I have never missed a payment and for Ally to put 4 months of collections on my account is not only wrong but big a inconvenience to me.

Consumer Complaint: On XXXX I was denied a personal loan to buy groceries due to Ally bank being the primary reason of rendering over the XXXX XXXX XXXX that was a lemon and the dealership/manufacturer refused to honor the new car warranty and swap out the new vehicle with a non lemon one without ruining my credit rating by running a credit application for a new car swap each time I inquired on a fix prior to a complete vehicle breakdown after a new starter and battery was ordered in which the car ran for 1 full day after XX/XX/XXXX fix then broke down completely with starter and battery wires burnt being the reasons for a non manufacturer new car warranty repair within only 4 months of financing the supposably new car. See prior CFPB.gov unresolved complaints and refer to attachments as a reference from complaints XXXX, XXXX, XXXX. The dealer received {$2500.00} bonus which was used as a down payment though my credit required none at the time of approval XXXX. After rendering over the vehicle, my vehicleinsurance policy paid nearly or over {$2000.00} to Ally bank for additional gap coverage that was in addition to the bill of sales gap coverage inclusion. My car payment which was only XXXX wasn't due upon being rendered over for auction and wasn't past due. Ally bank shouldn't have anything but a positive rating on my credit. The bank received the car, gap coverage money from the insurance company and they sold the vehicle within 2 months time of rendering. My credit rating and outcome of a severely needed grocery/personal medical hygiene/cleaning product loan approval shouldn't have been declined due to their retaliation and/or misunderstanding of how to notate my closed account to rate my credit history properly with valid balance information which should be and is {$0.00} balance, paid on time. They picked up the vehicle in a timely manner no requirement for me to pay the 1st car payment should've been my responsibility.

Consumer Complaint: Ally Bank will not allow me to access my online banking and they have de-activated my debit card. They are holding my money XXXX while they investigate a " fraud complaint '' that they initiated. I called customer service on XX/XX/2021 because I could not access my account online, and my debit card was not working, even though there was not a freeze on the card. The fraud division at Ally refused to give me information on my account ( the balance of the account and recent transactions ) and would not allow me to move the money in my personal checking account at Ally to my personal checking account at XXXX ( which I just opened ) so that I could access my money to pay my rent on XXXX. I had direct deposit set up through my employer, so essentially Ally Bank is holding my money without giving me any information. I was told was that when the investigation was over, Ally Bank would close my account and mail me a check for the remainder of my balance, if there was a remainder. I should be allowed access to my banking account, and be able to see my entire transaction history, and be fully aware of what Ally is doing and why. Ally Bank should not be allowed to deny me access to my money, in my personal checking account.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2021 I paid this loan off from selling it. The purchaser paid me in cash, and when I spoke to Ally originally they said I have the title in 4 days. So I get looking on the website after logging into our account and see that that was true if paid by cashiers check or certified funds. Otherwise it would be up to 10 days. Well this day 14, the lien still hasnt been released. I called yesterday and I basically got the runaround from someone saying well yes the release can take up to 10 days to process and itll take another 7 to 10 days to get the letter of release. Thats not what I was told originally and it SAYS right on the website ( see attached picture ) that it takes TEN days, not 14, not 10 plus another 7 to 10. All titles here now are electronic when it comes to liens, All I need is the stupid letter to release the lien, clearly after 14 days the funds have more than cleared the bank. I have the buyer breathing down my neck about this as well. This is ludicrous.

The man asked for me and told me that my XXXX was late on payment I explained to him ive been in contact with my bank thru email and not sure why he was at my door the guy states he's with ally financial and say he was here to close my loan and to call the bank. I told the man not to ever come to my door again. This man was caucasian in his 50 's for sure. I've been in contact with some guy thru email name XXXX XXXX who keeps emailing me and tell me to call his private phone number XXXX and the email is XXXX. This has really scared me because I just moved to this location and they do not have the address. I feel violated and not safe.
