Consumer Complaint: I called on XX/XX/XXXX and requested a refund for all payments made in 2021, allowed under the CARES act. The total was around {$9000.00}. I was told this would take XXXX days to show on the FedLoan website but could take another XXXX days after that for the treasury to issue the payment and that part was out of their control. I agreed to these terms. I have since called back on XXXX to confirm it was submitted at all and they confirmed my request was received on the XXXX and it would be any day, but soon. I called back on the XXXX of XXXXXXXX XXXX days after the original request and was told it could be XXXX days or possibly XXXX months before my request is sent to the treasury and they were unable to confirm where this was in the process as there are no notes and they don't even know how the process works. I have been given 3 different time lines and each time the eta changes vastly. I asked if there was anything that can be done to speed up this process and they said no. I have been lied to and no effort has been made to rectify the situation.

Consumer Complaint: On XX/XX/2022 I started a consolidation application with XXXX XXXX. They have reached out several times ( now 4 since XX/XX/2022 ) to American Education Services ( my current holder ) for my loan payoff information and AES will not respond with what they need. This is almost 30 days later and time is of the essence. Also I asked that AES update my file to show that in that forbearance period due to consolidation and they have failed to do so. AES should be sanctioned and made to follow through with my request.

My loans were sent to fed loan which are now being transferred to XXXX. No one has any answers for me who can I contact? The money was also added to my loan account balance so its showing I was refunded on my account and credit report.

Consumer Complaint: I co-signed a student loan almost 17 years ago for my oldest daughter. The terms of the loan clearly stated a 120 month re-payment schedule. Now 193 months later the AES is trying to get me to pay the loan, because they kept deferring payments and allowing the interest to accumulate to well over {$20000.00}. I have requested a co-signer release numerous times, but they keep denying it. Now they are harassing me about the payments, and have ruined my credit score. I went from an XXXX to a XXXX in 4 months because of them.

Consumer Complaint: I asked MyFedLoan to reinstate my parent plus loans back in the middle of XXXX for all my payments that were made during the covid pause. They are still not reinstated and they told me it would take 4-6 weeks originally. Please reach out to my email directly to ask for specific details and I can provide you with anything you need. I am tired of waiting at this point and want my money back that I paid the federal government during the pause that I am entitled to.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/2021, i was contacted by Fed Loan Servicing to start a payment plan on my student loan account. I was ordered to pay XXXX to enroll in the XXXX XXXX program. I checked my student account to see if any payments were made, and there's yet to be any made. I see that they are taking XXXX a month out of my account as well. I was told by a student loan processor that i should NOT have to pay money out of my pocket in order to be eligible for this program. Making me believe i have been scammed by cornerstone. I would appreciate it if you guys took a look into this. And I'm hoping i can get reimbursed for the XXXX and also help applying for a new legit student loan advisor.

Consumer Complaint: Not only did AES attempt to collect while there was a federal forbearance in place, they only offered forbearance as a last resort. However, after i took the forbearance, the forbearance counted against my personal forbearance allotment NOT the federal forbearance the gov't put in place. After that they started reporting my loan 90 days delinquent in XXXX which is less than 30 days after the federal forbearance was extended to XXXX!.

Consumer Complaint: Fed Loans Servicing suggests that two accounts were removed from my credit report. In fact, these two accounts were consolidated XXXX months ago with XXXX loan servicing. This situation suddenly occurred after President Joe Biden announced the debt forgiveness program. As a result, this action caused my credit score to drop XXXX points. I have tried to reason with a Fed Loan representative, but without success. The against seemed to not know how to approach my concern. Usually, the accounts show " in good standing. ''
