Consumer Complaint: Fedloan reports that I was late on my payments for 90 days it more. I started paying my loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX. My account was set to autopay. For 3 months, ( XXXX XXXX ) I would see payments go out of my bank account on behalf of the Department of Education XXXX In XX/XX/2018 I got a email saying no payment had been made, funds were available. I tried calling and could not get a response. I then saw on my credit report I was late. This came as a shocker because I had no idea who they were because I was paying to XXXX XXXX XXXX. The person on the phone was not helpful. So we did not resolve anything. Dead end after dead end and now its XXXX and I finally speak with someone at Fedloan to get things straighten. I started my payment plan and have made payment a every month since. When calling about why I have 3 months of missing payments I keep getting different answers. 1 person said its because my account was set to paperless and they sent the info to my online account but I didnt see it yet because i hadnt even spoken with the company to even know there was a account with them. I agreed with ACT ( account control technologies ) to start repaying my loan which I started immediately doing, non of my information was transferred over to Fedloan, when I finally spoke with Fedloan all of the information on my was incorrect ( email, address, etc ) which ACT had because I was making payments. I have made all payments to Fedloan since then and have tried to get this cleared up. From XXXX I have never been late and current on all payments. During the pandemic Fedloan sold my student loans to another company and again my information like address and phone number was incorrect, and that company had since sold my loan again to another company. Please help.

Consumer Complaint: On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from PHEAA/FedLoan Servicing admitting to legal liability for failure to adhere to my Standing Instructions for my Federal Student Loans, during the period of service between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore, in the final paragraph of the XX/XX/XXXX communication, PHEAA explicitly opened the door to further liability regarding additional issues with my account which may have been unrelated to standing instructions. Following my submission of supporting documentation, I have received a single check in the amount of XXXX to cover the failures in relation to my Standing Instructions. However, I had since documented numerous other forms of financial harm unrelated to Standing Instructions the XXXX} payment was clearly incomplete and inadequate compensation for the harm I have suffered. As a notable example, in XX/XX/XXXX, my loans were re-assigned to XXXX without my consent, following PHEAA 's unilateral decision to exit the federal student loan servicing segment. Following this unplanned transition, my federal student loan balances disappeared altogether from my consumer credit reports, and were only re-applied in the end-of-year context for XXXX. In the meantime, I was attempting to purchase my first home for my household, and was challenged to obtain full and accurate documentation to substantiate my loan balance and prove that I was a borrower in good standing in order to complete the mortgage approval process. Despite my repeated attempts to pursue further monetary compensation from PHEAA, I have been consistently stonewalled. On Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, PHEAA again sent me an email asking me to provide documentation that I had already submitted two months ago. I finally received a third notice earlier today stating that my case had been closed and if I had an issue with the closure to contact PHEAA customer service. I wasted nearly an hour today on the phone with PHEAA team member XXXX ( employee ID # XXXX ) who continued to insist that she could do nothing for me and that I had to contact XXXX, or otherwise the Department of Education to confirm the correct contact information for my current servicer/borrower relationship. XXXX 's malicious insistence that I could only pursue recourse from non-PHEAA representatives was further confirmed when I was told that XXXX 's supervisor from XXXX was present but categorically refused to speak to me since I was not an active PHEAA student loan customer. Since this entire framework to provide contact outreach and fair compensation persons for federal student loan borrowers such as myself explicitly arose as a direct consequence of PHEAA 's earlier unilateral decision to exit this line of business, the attempt of PHEAA to defer providing reasonable compensation can not be logically disputed and the firm is clearly defaulting on their legal obligations per their contact with the Department of Education, which governs their service work on my behalf and the current and future legal consequences of their specific failure to perform.

Consumer Complaint: Hello i have been trying and trying to get this stuff fixed for almost 2 years now. The reporting is just all over the place honestly and you guys are my last resort. In the past Fed Loan Servicing has been pretty decent with getting back to me. However every time the " updated '' something it still came back inaccurate on my credit report. So it's costs me time and alot of money going back and fourth with them for 2 years. get that they are very busy and probably under paid but the illegal reporting is really stressing me out and causing me XXXX XXXXXXXX and everything. Covid really hurt alot of people and i know they are helping people get through it by deferring stuff, but man they have been ignoring me like crazy. As an American, i have rights and my rights are being ignored. They are illegally and inaccurately reporting information to XXXX XXXX and XXXX. Not only did i never receive my consumer reporting rights from Truth in Lending but it is inaccurate reports showing. They are reporting 5 different reports as of today. And i am a private person so i told them i don't want to give up my right to privacy for them to violate that hurts bad. I asked them to remove it many times but they are just too busy to listen. They removed some but not all the ones i mentioned in my letters. I need help

Consumer Complaint: I requested a refund from MyFedLoan for my student loan payments I had made during the pandemic. They processed my refund and said I was eligible for a refund of over {$11000.00}. I called to follow up since I had not received my refund, and MyFedLoan told me that my loans had been transferred to XXXX who would be processing my refund. I called XXXX who said they have no record of me in their system but the transfer should be complete by XX/XX/XXXX and to keep trying to register for an account on their website. It is now XX/XX/XXXX and I am still unable to register for an account on XXXX 's website and they are unable to find a record of my account. MyFedLoan 's website indicates that all transfers have been complete, however my record is not.

Consumer Complaint: Hello, I am filing this complaint against AES because of their behavior with servicing a loan for XXXX. My loan has grown to over twice the size of the amount that I borrowed. The account is supposedly " 962 days past due '' but does not show it is defaulted. I believe AES and XXXX are conspiring to keep it in " limbo '' status. I have repeatedly faxed an authorization for my representative, a certified credit counselor, to speak with them and they continually deny they have received it. We did a conference call with them on XX/XX/XXXX and they asked us to submit any payoff offers in writing, which we did also by fax, and they claim not to have received it. XXXX, my original lender, went bankrupt and their assets were transferred to XXXX. However, XXXX is owned by the same person who owned XXXX. We ask the CFPB to examine the legality of this type of transfer and investigate the companies involved, as well as AES 's involvement in providing cover for them and servicing loans for a potentially fraudulent company. Additionally, I request that XXXX agree to settle the loan for the amount I am offering, which, combined with the amount I've already paid, is more than the original amount that I borrowed. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: FedLoan Servicing Center has reported incorrect information on my ( XXXX ) credit report. I have been unable to reach them to clear it up because the number they have listed/provided ( XXXX ) is not a working number. It immediately disconnects after the first ring. FedLoan recently discontinued handling federal student loans & transferred all their accounts to other lenders ( XXXX & XXXX ). My loans were transferred to XXXX. However, an error ( obviously ) occurred in the transfer. My ( FedLoan ) loans were in an IDR ( Income Driven Repayment ) Plan, with {$0.00} past due & a {$0.00} balance due at the time of the transfer. Note : FedLoan Company is not out of business, they are just no longer a student loan company. Therefore, they should still be contactable. I have a credit dispute that I have been attempting to clear up and resolve but can not reach them. Though XXXX Credit Bureau shows my FedLoan account at a {$0.00} balance, it is still showing up as a delinquent status. I was denied a loan ( from another lender company ) because of this inaccurate reporting on my credit report. This is keeping me from ( re ) starting school ( in XXXX days ). Please see that FedLoan corrects this ( delinquent status ) error immediately. Please contact me asap at XXXX. Thank you, XXXX XXXX
