Consumer Complaint: To Whom it may concern On XX/XX/21, I applied for the XXXX loan forgiveness. My loan was through XXXX for approximately {$7000.00}. I am lacking proof and paperwork due to the fact that all correspondence was through a digital mailbox on the Fedloan website which no longer exists. After verifying my employment, it was deemed that I made 145 qualifying payments to my student loan. In XXXX, I was notified that the loan would be transferred to XXXX. A few weeks later, I was notified that the loan would not be transferred due to the fact the balance was now {$0.00} due to it being forgiven. Upon speaking to a representative at Fed loans on multiple occasions, I was told Iwould receive a refund for the 25 qualifying over payments made. I should expect the refunds in XXXX. It is now XXXX and no payments were refunded. I have been trying to contact FedLoans and the agency who took over to find out about the refund, but no working number exists. Even numbers that I was transferred to through XXXX and XXXX, no one has any leads for me to call to inquire or any loan information for me. I even called XXXX because I was at a loss of what to do. I am owed money and no one can help me get this refund. Please help me. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I had some of my XXXX XXXX XXXX with Fed Loan and in XXXX they were put into what I thought was deferment. However the person who put them into deferment didn't code it correctly so on their end it looked like I missed several payments which they reported to the credit bureau and on my end I was under the impression I didn't have to currently make payments. Fast forward to XXXX when I was in the process of purchasing my house my credit score was pulled and it was brought to my attention that I had several delinquent payments ( XXXX ) on my account that was reported by Fed Loan in XXXX. I contacted Fed Loan and after a short conversation I was reassured that they were going to take care of this situation and contact the credit bureau and have it removed off my report and they realized what the person who put the loans into deferment had done it wrong. Now fast forward to end of XXXX I was notified by Fed Loan that all my loans were being transferred to XXXX. I happen to look at my credit score today and realized it dropped almost XXXX points in a month and half and that the XXXX late payments are showing up on my credit report again. I contacted XXXX regarding my credit report and they looked up what the late payments were and said they were all from Fed Loan from XXXX and to contact Fed Loan and they will hopefully be able to help me take care of it again. However I tried to contact Fed Loan to address this issue and Fed Loan no longer exists because now all federal student loans are out of XXXX. When you call the Fed Loan number it automatically disconnects and XXXX said unfortunately they cant help because the late payments were reported by Fed Loan so only they can remove them. So I am coming to you for help on the situation.. Thank you!

Consumer Complaint: FedLoan reported 16 student loans to the credit bureaus as each having late payments from XXXX - XXXX of XXXX. During this time I had a consolidation loan processing that held up my IDR application and was told verbally that the accounts would be placed in hardship forbearance since there was no way for me to pay such a high amount when I was unemployed at the time. I also stopped receiving emails about payment reminders, so I had no reason to doubt this was the case. Now I am looking to purchase a home, but because each of the loans ( now consolidated ) are showing as individual late payments it is severely impacting my credit and ability to get a mortgage. FedLoan is no longer in business and as such there is no way for myself or the credit bureaus to contact them to have this corrected.

Consumer Complaint: My US Dept of Education and Fed loan all have been paid and closed on my credit report. The loans are closed but is reporting one negative payment missed. This is inaccurate information and affecting me negatively as Im trying to maximize my credit score and profile. These derogatory remarks from these old student loan accounts are creating numerous problems with my new reports I obtained. I just want them removed immediately off my credit report or to fix these inaccuracies payment history, so I can receive what I truly deserve for my credit report.

Consumer Complaint: In 2009 I took out XXXX loans with AES for my higher education. I calculated my payoff time/date and knew when my outstanding balance would be cleared. This company arbitrarily decided, without warning, to under withdraw XXXX monthly payments. A move that was a clear deliberate attempt to prolong my debt and a breach in trust to the indebted, myself, in doing so. My total balance would have been paid off on the XXXX of XXXX had they continued withdrawing payments in the way that I have deliberately chosen to have automatic monthly installments dispersed. They undermined me, my choices, without warning or notification. No email contact, no paper contact through the mail, nor contact by phone. Full well knowing they could squeeze out a few more cents out of me by doing so. They have millions of borrowers nationwide. Imagine how many others they do this to on a monthly basis. You can figure it out with a general idea. By getting over on people like this they are not only behaving nefariously and in bad faith, they are also doing serious harm to people by prolonging their debt. All in an attempt to enrich themselves with a few pennies or a few extra dollars per borrower. Upon calling and speaking to a representative I was told that they can do decide how much to withdraw from me once a single loan in my outstanding balance is paid off in full. So in essence upon seeing that I was about to be paid off they defaulted my withdrawal amount to half of what I intentionally chose and calculated myself to prolong the debt for another month. Complete total XXXX. Absolutely outrageous.

Consumer Complaint: I disputed multiple accounts for false identifying information certified mail ( XX/XX/2022 ), ( XX/XX/2022 ), ( XX/XX/2022 ). I sent the correct information to the credit bureaus to remove the accounts with incorrect or fraudulent information ( XX/XX/2022 ), ( XX/XX/2022 ), ( XX/XX/2022 ). Instead of deleting the accounts from my credit file the companies updated information on the accounts which is a failure to investigate and fraud. I have submitted this complaint to the companies more than once and they still have not deleted the items. They are failing to investigate. This is a failure to investigate and a violation of the FCRA. I have sent this complaint to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX.
