Consumer Complaint: We have XXXX business accounts with Wells Fargo. On each of the following dates we had {$25000.00} taken from the accounts. XX/XX/XXXX. ; XX/XX/XXXX. and XX/XX/2024. I noticed on the afternoon of the XXXX. at which time i wen to the bank the next morning ( Thursday the XXXX ). I sat down with one of the bankers and reported it. The banker tried to help me reset the password to the my Wells Fargo App. However, it seemed like someone had infiltrated and programmed and locked in another telephone number. We found ourselves having to close both bank accounts and deleted the Wells Fargo App. Thereafter, the bank representative connected me with the fraud department. At which time they asked me a series of questions ... ... ... .. Did i loose my phone? Did I replace my phone? Did I share my password with anyone? Did loose my debit card? All of which i replied NO. Thereafter, it was conveyed that an investigation would take 10 days. Upon the 10 days elapsing. I tried calling the fraud department numerous times. But was not able to reach them. I went to the bank this Friday again. I was put in touch with the fraud department. They conveyed they though I shared my password... I replied that was absurd! and was NOT SO! I have in touch my attorney since. And have escalated the claim ... May also state. That i have been banking with this bank for many years and have been in business for 25 years and while i have had only similar issues with the same bank ( not other banks ). Its extremely upsetting to know that the bank has such a lapse in security! There is certainly an issue with there online security that needs to be shared with other consumers! Consumer Complaint: I have already filed a dispute with XXXX about accounts that have been charged off. I wrote a letter in the dispute saying that any charged-off accounts are now certification of indebtedness which is now income and income can not be reported on a credit report. Also, the account has been reported to my report recently. Which is a violation of The privacy of 1974, 15 U.S. Code 6802 - Obligations with respect to disclosures of personal information, 15 U.S. Code 1679c - Disclosures, 15 U.S. Code 6803 - Disclosure of institution privacy, and 15 U.S. Code 1681 - Congressional findings and statement of purpose. I will be attaching my letter and there response to just update instead of delete the account.

Consumer Complaint: I XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I contacted wells fargo because I was at risk of having a 30 day late mortgage payment. I have never had a late payment and didn't want to have that on my record. I only need a few extra days, but they suggested that I enter into the process for a home mortgage modification. This is not what I originally asked for but it seemed like a good idea. They specifically stated that this would allow a pause on payments for approximately 2months and it would not report negative to credit. The process was long and arduous but we did get the home modification. However, they kept reporting the payments as late. As a result, I have two 180+ late payments on my record. This has cost me thousands of dollars in denied credit, increased rates, increased insurance rates etc ... As part of the lawsuit Wells Fargo has been sending out checks to people who have had their credit wrongly lowered. In some cases these checks have been {$10000.00}. I believe I absolutely qualify for this. I also need those payments taken off my report. Thank you,

Consumer Complaint: I OPENED A CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT WITH WELLS FARGO CREDIT CARD SERVICES. MY CREDIT WAS PULLED ON XX/XX/XXXX FOR THE APPLICATION. I WAS APPROVED ON XX/XX/XXXX AFTER A LOT OF PROBLEMS THAT WELLS FARGO CAME UP WITH WHICH WERE ALL INACCURATE I USED THE CARD ONCE AND DISCOVERED IT HAD BEEN CLOSED. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND VISITED THE BANK SEVERAL TIMES. AFTER A LOT OF CALLS, I WAS INFORMED THAT THEY DETERMINED THERE WAS FRAUD ON THE ACCOUNT AND CLOSED IT. I SAID THAT I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT THE CLOSURE. I COULD NOT GET ANYONE TO SPEAK WITH ME OR PROVIDE ANY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION TO ME. I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION FROM WELLS FARGO PRIOR TO THE ACCOUNT BEING CLOSED. I WAS LATER INFORMED THAT I COULD RE-APPLY FOR ANOTHER CARD. THEY DID NOT CALL, EMAIL OR CONTACT ME PRIOR TO CLOSING THE ACCOUNT. I ASKED IF THEY WOULD PULL MY CREDIT AGAIN AND THEY SAID YES. THIS IS VERY CONCERNING TO ME. EVEN IF I DO NOT RE APPLY FOR THAT CARD, BUT APPLY FOR ANOTHER NON-WELLS FARGO CARD, THERE WOULD NEED TO BE A HARD INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT, WHICH IS BAD FOR MY CREDIT. WELLS FARGO ACTED EGGREGIOUSLY BY CLOSING THE ACCOUNT WITHOUT ANY COMMUNICATION TO ME, AND BY SO DOING, IS SUBJECTING ME TO TWO HARD INQUIRIES WITHIN 60 DAYS. FOR THAT REASON, WELLS NEEDS TO CORRECT THE SITUATION BY EITHER RE-OPENING THE ACCOUNT OR INITIATING A NEW ACCOUNT WITOUT A HARD INQUIRY ON MY CREDIT. THE EFFECT OF THEIR EGGREGIOUS ACTION WOULD BE 2 HARD INQUIRIES ON MY CREDIT WITHIN TWO MONTHS. IN EFFECT, THE INITIAL INQUIRY WOULD BE FOR NOTHING. THESE TWO HARD INQUIRIES WITHIN TWO MONTHS, WHICH WOULD BE DETRIMENTAL TO MY CREDIT AND THEREFORE, MUST BE AVOINDED. I AM SEEKING THAT THEY BE MADE TO WAIVE ANOTHER HARD INQUIRY WHILE THEY REOPEN THE CLOSED ACCOUNT. THEY NEED TO REPAIR THEIR MISTAKE AND NOT MAKE ME TAKE THE FALL FOR THEIR INADEQUATE POLICIES AND HARMFUL BEHAVIOR TO CUSTOMERS. THEY NEED TO BE STOPPED

Consumer Complaint: In XXXX I was having financial difficulties due to the economic crash of XXXX and I requested a home loan modification from my mortgage company ( American Servicing Company ), a subsidiary of Wells Fargo, I was denied several times, being told that I didn't qualify. As a result, I lost my home that I had paid for for sixteen years, and believe it or not in XXXX of this year ( XXXX ) I received a check in the mail from Wells Fargo for XXXX XXXX dollars and a letter stating that during a review of my mortgage account, they identified they when the loan was considered for payment assistance options, an error may have occurred. As a result, we are enclosing a check for XXXX. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused.
