Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo advertised a bonus of {$2500.00} to any customer who opened one of its " XXXX '' checking accounts and brought a total of at least {$250000.00} of " new deposits '' to Wells Fargo. I understood* that the CD I bought ( dated XXXX XXXX, 2023 ) could be counted as a " new deposit '', though it had obviously come from a CD which MATURED on XXXX XXXX. All my new CD 's -- -totaling {$250000.00} -- -were bought well within the date limitations on the bonus offer. Local bank employee ( XXXX XXXX, XXXX branch ) asserts that my latest CD did NOT qualify as a " new deposit '', because it obviously came from the previous CD, and would not count as a " new deposit ''. It was my understanding from a discussion on XXXX XXXX with a different employee ( XXXX XXXX XXXX who usually works in WF 's XXXX XXXXXXXX branch ) that if I bought a new CD -- -when the existing one MATURED on XXXX XXXX -- -it would count toward qualifying me for the bonus offer. *I dealt with XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX when I bought two CD 's and opened up the Premier checking account. When my last CD matured on XXXX XXXX, XXXX had automatically rolled it into a new CD -- -at a lower interest rate, of course -- -but I was well within the grace period for cancelling the new CD. I could have -- -and WOULD HAVE -- -taken the $ money from the CD which matured on the XXXX, across the street to another bank and then written a check on THAT bank.

Consumer Complaint: I had fraudulent transactions on my wells fargo checking account and initiated a dispute for fraud. Wells Fargo said the investigator would call me, and they lied and never did. Instead they closed the dispute. They violated XXXX XXXX, XXXX fraud liability, and nacha. They are trying to XXXX me out of {$12000.00}. If it cant be resolved here, i will file a lawsuit which would qualify for treble damages for violating 15 U.S.C. 1693a ( 12 ), 15 U.S.C. 1693f ( c ), and 15 U.S.C. 1693g ( b )

So my problem is I didn't receive notice of right to dispute and when I contacted them they never responded to verify the debt when I asked for it back in XXXX. I was never notified of the status of the results. This negative information has caused a lot of problems over the last few months because I refuse to pay a debt that does not belong to me.

Consumer Complaint: I called Wells Fargo several times before closing my account to make sure I would receive no penalties and could close my account at {$0.00}. Several months after I thought I closed the account I get an email notification saying my address has been updated. How can my address be updated when I don't have an account with this company? I tried to log in online and investigate but they won't let me log in. It says I'm not enrolled in online banking. So you're changing my billing address without letting me see the account. I want nothing to do with Wells Fargo and want a regulatory complaint that they are still up to the same old bad practices

Consumer Complaint: Wells Fargo. Closed credit card suddenly " reappeared '' and generated fees, had a fraudulent charge from " XXXX ''. Neither the card nor statements were accessible to me on the website nor on the phone app. I called and discovered this card is generating interest... I paid it off and disputed the transaction. Nothing got disputed and I continued to not be able to access online statements regarding this resurrected card. I tried closing my Wells Fargo savings account and sent ACH withdrawal request to my linked bank with the next business day transfer. Instead of the transfer out, they magically transferred that amount IN! And then froze it. Nothing is moving in or out and I'm not able to close this account which is generating maintenance fees... The customer support is backed up and can not cancel this transfer... I just can't seem to be able to free myself from this horrible bank. In the past they also made me pay 6 months for a " deposit box '' in another state that they refused to close. They just constantly do this kind of stuff... I would like to see that bank stop its existence.

You can see my card being used by myself and the scammers at the same time in different cities and different states.
