Consumer Complaint: So theres 2 problems here I did not know I can file a complaint this way, I had a total of XXXX charged to my account through cash app which was connected to my debit card unauthorized transactions that I did not make my self or allow anyone else to make. I had the physical card on me. XX/XX/XXXX was the first unauthorized transaction in the amount of XXXX dollars to XXXX XXXX XXXX and between that date and XX/XX/XXXX there were a total of 11 transactions totaling XXXX that was sent to this person that I do not know and have no business with. I reported this to Wells Fargo before 60 days had past the last transaction that was made on XX/XX/XXXX of 2022 I made the report on the Transaction XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX and my claim was denied for a reason unknown. To me. The second incident was a withdrawal in the amount of XXXX or XXXX Im not 100 percent sure on the number because I cant access my account anymore due to the closing my account after reporting these fraudulent transactions. I used my Wells Fargo card for a down payment on a car from XXXX so when the money was deducted from my account I didnt think twice about it about 30 days later I get a letter from XXXX XXXX saying if I dont resolve the balance of my down payment my car will be repoed. So I go back and look at the transaction and apparently someone was able to withdraw the money from my account and Wells Fargo denied my claim with nothing on their findings and on top of that closed my account after reporting it to them.

Consumer Complaint: About a year ago, I had multiple account overdraft fees put on my account even though I deposited money before the deadline. Ultimately, I couldn't pay for all of the overdraft fees, the day I tried to login to pay my overdraft fees, my account was closed and all of the overdrawn money was sent to collections. It has affected my credit report permanently, I recieve calls all of the time from collections for money I really shouldn't owe, and now that I'm running a business it's impossible to get financing. I was told there was a settlement regarding the illegal overdraft fees wells Fargo charged people, but wells Fargo never reached out to compensate me for that. How can I get what's owed from the settlement. On many occasions before the final closure of my account, I experienced instances of this predatory overdraft scheme that wells Fargo utilized to steal money from millions of low income families. They should be held accountable and we should be compensated for our losses. It's about time people get credit for all that these giants take from them during hard times. They are feeding on families in there most vulnerable times. Thank you for all that you do. I hope you guys are able to keep doing what your doing. Your service to folks like myself is greatly appreciated. We need more agencies like this to fight these greedy monsters and we need permanent laws to keep them from doing it again! Hopefully one day low income families won't have to work so hard just to be stolen from by bug business. This agency is a great start. To the individuals who fight hard for consumers, Thank you! Consumer Complaint: I bought a 4 wheel alignment from XXXX on or around XX/XX/XXXX. The merchant was named " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ''. On XX/XX/XXXX I went in for the service. They took my car back and I waited for 2 hours during which no one came up to me. The manager viewed/redeemed my voucher after those 2 hours, while still not providing an update. About 20 mins later, a technician came up to me to say that they didnt do the 4 wheel alignment because the back was too hard for them and that I needed parts changed. Again no one told me any of this during the 2 hour wait or before they redeemed the voucher. I was told the only way Id be able to get the full 4 wheel alignment I had already paid for was if I came to them and only them for new parts which would be XXXX $ +. Only then would they do the full alignment. I paid for a service that was not done, my car is still pulling to the right and shaking even worse than before. I was told the only option for me to get the full service was to come back to them within 30 days and spend more money. I first contacted XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX for a refund. I went back and forth with them for nearly a week, during which I spoke to at least 5 different agents who were obviously copying and pasting generic responses, without actually reading my complaint. My issue was finally escalated on XX/XX/XXXX to a supervisor named XXXX XXXX who stated that since the merchant marked the voucher as redeemed they can not process it on their end but I can contact my financial institution and they will assist/cooperate in anyway so that I am refunded that way. I submitted a dispute with Wells Fargo on XX/XX/XXXX referencing the subject XXXX # XXXX Refund which correlates to the email thread I had been communicating with XXXX on. I received a provisional credit of {$82.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from Wells Fargo, claim reference # XXXX. I never got any type of correspondence from XXXX or Wells Fargo after that, until XX/XX/XXXX when I saw an {$82.00} credit reversal pop up on my account. I called WF and they informed me that at first XXXX had been cooperating with their investigation but then they suddenly refused to pay out the claim giving the same generic reasoning I had been given via email. Although I provided a computer generated diagram from the auto shop showing that my alignment was not done. I was instructed by Wells Fargo to contact XXXX again because the claim was closed/denied on their end. I followed up with XXXX for an explanation on XX/XX/XXXX. I again went through the saga of speaking with multiple agents who either refused to help or kept replying with generic copy and paste messages. My issue was again escalated to a supervisor named XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX who again sent me the same exact message I had received from other agents. Although they claimed in their response that I can reply back with any further concerns or " let them know how they can be of further assistance '' my reply on XX/XX/XXXX was ignored and my subsequent follow up on XX/XX/XXXX has also gone unanswered.

Consumer Complaint: XXXXnotifed fraudulent charges on account at approximately XXXX and called WF to cancel card. Further charges were attempted later that day. Called XX/XX/XXXX for update-claim was denied Went to local WF on XX/XX/XXXX and claim was escalated to resolution team Called XX/XX/XXXX for update-claim continues to be denied. Requested documentation used to make this decision. Received documentation XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX phone was used to make charge to a bank in Florida. ( I live in NC, have a XXXX phone, and do not bank with the credit union in Florida ) The IP addresses documented do not match my phone or home computer. Wells Fargo continues to refuse to credit my money back despite having documentation to prove the charge was NOT authorized.

This impacted my ability to work and gain clients because of the XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX I took out personal loans to try and stay afloat, but I could not cover the payments for my business card with Wells Fargo in XX/XX/. I was current on my payments on my personal card and had made nearly {$6000.00} in payments the previous XXXX months. They closed my personal card in XX/XX/XXXX after I made my last payment of {$450.00} on XX/XX/, and expected me to keep making payments. I did not make any more payments as they closed my account that was current and over a decade old. I was defaulting on other payments. Wells is suing me for the XXXX XXXX. I am fighting it because they closed a current account on someone suffering from XXXX XXXX symptoms. Wells doesn't need more profits. They made XXXX XXXX last year.

Consumer Complaint: A fraudulent unauthorized ( by XXXX ) withdrawal took place on XX/XX/ for {$2000.00} from our checking account. We believe our card was duplicated at some point, as my husband had the card in his position at all times. A police report has been filed with the XXXX, AZ police department. We received a call from a Wells Fargo phone number regarding the transaction. My husband stated that he did not use his card as I just had a total XXXX XXXX the day before and he was my caretaker. We have filed claims twice with the second escalating to the fraud executive department. Both claims were closed without explanation and a refund would not be given. We were told there is nothing they can do. As customers for over 20 years we find this unacceptable!!!

Consumer Complaint: I contacted Wells Fargo Mortgage in XX/XX/XXXX to advise them that as of XX/XX/XXXX I had met the criteria to have PMI discontinued to be taken out of my mortgage- loan ending in XXXX since I had reached the required 20 %. I further advised it should not be the customer 's responsibility to track this they should have known considering I have a separate mortgage on another property and Wells Fargo stopped PMI without me having to request them to discontinue taking it out. I requested to have a refund issued in the amount of {$44.00} which cover the PMI of {$11.00} which was taken out from XXXX to XX/XX/. I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that my refund request was denied. I need to understand how can Wells Fargo continue to take out PMI when the mortgage had reached the criteria to have it discontinued. I feel I'm due a refund because Wells Fargo failed to adhere to the terms of PMI.

Note : All payments made on time or early no lateness as agreed.. XXXX ( me ) contacted WF and talked on phone to ( 3 ) different WF Customer Service people about SURPRISE interest. XXXX advised WF this {$850.00} will not be made. Eventually Hi Level Cust Service Mgr agreed loan amount of {$680.00} paid now will satisfy account outstanding balance and close account. This amount had been made previous day XXXX and was agreed as XXXX account balance will be XXXX when payment is received ( mailed previous day ). WF claims payment was received on XXXX ( processed date I am sure ) and reneges on previous agreement claiming the payment MUST be received the same day offered ( XXXX ). No such fact discussed previous. She lied. Made up condition. Account is paid in full. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX'. Asked for confirmation of this or WF can proceed with whatever action. Consumer Complaint: I hope this letter reaches you in good health and spirit. I paid my safe deposit box in the Wells Fargo bank at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, North Carolina, XXXX ( Where my box is located ) on XXXX with XXXX XXXX teller agent and its not reflecting my payment of {$65.00}. I dont wan na be charged a late fee so I took the time out on my sons Birthday to come in and pay the {$65.00}. XXXX XXXX withdrew {$65.00} the funds out of my Wells Fargo checking and told me she paid my safe deposit box with it. It is showing not paid, I do not appreciate it. This has been a nightmare with this box and I have had this safe deposit box since XXXX and never had a problem until this year XXXX. I advised it was a problem with paying different from any year this year XXXX and its like executive department isnt taken my matter serious. I went in and took time out of my busy day on my sons Birthday to make sure it was paid, XXXX XXXX as well and I also went in there with my XXXX year old XXXX. It was only one teller open as well so I had to wait extremely long and the lady before me was coughing bad and I dont want me and my XXXX plus my family at home to catch Covid 19. Instead of someone helping me pay the {$65.00} in the executive branch over the phone to make it easier for me as a XXXX with children they did not do that. Now my payment is not showing up of {$65.00} I paid in full. Im very dissatisfied customer. This whole safe deposit box was not handled properly and the customer I received was very poor. Can you please fix my safe deposit box and apply the full payment I made of {$65.00} so I can go on with my life Im tired of worrying about this for weeks leading to months. Thank you for your time.
