Consumer Complaint: Good morning, I hope this message finds you well. My name is XXXX, and I am writing to request the reopening of my credit card account, which was closed due to circumstances that were beyond my control on XX/XX/2022. Last year, during a period of intense personal and professional turmoil, I was the victim of a XXXX XXXX scam that had XXXX repercussions on my financial activities. Not only was I defrauded of XXXX in cryptocurrency in the XXXX prior, but my Wells Fargo XXXX account was also exploited as part of this fraud with XXXX forcing me to give them access to my debit card so they could deposit checks for which they stated generated profit for me. To my surprise, they disappeared after various attempts to deposit checks into my account and I was left with a letter stating my XXXX account and credit card will be closed by wells fargo. As a responsible account holder, I reported these incidents to the XXXX XXXX and the XXXX XXXX XXXX but was left with no answer.. The closure of my XXXX XXXX account was an unintended consequence of these fraudulent activities, which I believe was an unjust consideration of my circumstances. I have always valued my relationship with Wells Fargo and have endeavored to maintain my accounts in good standing. Since then, I have taken extensive measures to secure my financial dealings, including my XXXX XXXX lawyer and setting up a XXXX XXXX in another state to protect my information from them. I am fully committed to restoring my account 's integrity and ensuring such discrepancies do not recur. I kindly ask for a review of my case and the opportunity to discuss how we can move forward to reinstate my XXXX XXXX account. Reopening my account would not only help me in my financial recovery but also reinforce the trust I have in Wells Fargo to support its customers during unforeseen and challenging times. Consumer Complaint: Ive lately had trouble with my Wells Fargo accounts. ( XXXX ) I recently attempted to open a checking account with a XXXX bonus offer from the mail, and the website ate up my bonus offer code when I went to read the e-sign agreement ( the site takes you back to the XXXX XXXX reader and eats your offer code when youre done reading ), and customer service, which I dont know what they even get paid for, has not been able to solve my problem. To finish signing up I had to drive out to my local branch on the same day, XXXX XXXXXX/XX/XXXX, where even though it was an XXXX before closing they had to set me up for an appointment to open a checking account, referring me to the XXXX XXXX at XXXX, the next day with availability. On XX/XX/XXXX I was able to sign up for a checking account with the XXXX bonus offer on the web, and cancelled my appointment. ( XXXX ) I also initiated a transfer of funds withdrawn from this Wells Fargo account before the weekend ; Ive been mobilely banking for years now with XXXX records, and something as fickle as XXXX transfer does not get noted by me any longer. However XXXX XXXX Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX has lapsed without a XXXX moved from my account. ( XXXX ) Ive been using my XXXX XXXX credit card by Wells Fargo since XXXX of XXXX, and everythings been fine, until recently. I called in XX/XX/XXXX, regarding a new account I was trying to add to pay off my credit card, and do note that this is a XXXX before my Wells Fargo checking account even existed. I mentioned that I had the XXXX trial deposits in the account to be added, but Wells Fargo had no recollection of this and there was nowhere to enter in my XXXX deposit amounts. A XXXX customer service representative I spoke to following the first, told me their site was undergoing maintenance. The XXXX attempt at adding the account was never a success and only money by Wells Fargo XXXX was moved. I had to waste more time and by XX/XX/XXXX I finally got a XXXX round of deposits and successfully added the account. ( XXXX ) I didnt mention it, but I also called in yesterday XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX about the untransferred funds from my XXXX account, and also a XXXX credit card charge that apparently was already refunded but didnt appear on my screen yet ( it posted today after speaking with them the day before, despite the refund happening on XX/XX/XXXX ). This caused me to pay my bill XXXX, being XXXX short the first time, because I had only the XXXX debt, along with my other charges on the screen, without the refund, and customer service told me they saw a XXXX refund posted on the XXXX along with some other $ XXXX amount that didnt exist, at least in this month. So I believed everything added up to my outstanding balance of XXXX and I paid it XXXX short @ XXXX believing the refund would post eventually, however, sitting down and number crunching did indeed show the XXXX basically didnt exist and all other debts totaled XXXX. Alas, nothing has been very cooperative, first speaking with XXXX yesterday, where she simply told me to make the checking account transfer again, like I did with adding my account XXXX last XXXX. I went on to talk about my concern about my recent interactions with Wells Fargo, including my experience with adding the accounts to my credit card, and she hung up on me half way without telling me shed transfer and I heard a gentlemans voice asking how he could assist, again I gave them my name as requested and told him I dont even know how I got here, and he asked for my XXXX which was XXXX more piece of information, and I decided to personally call Wells Fargo again. In that call, I was told about the refund that was not on my screen and some other lies about XXXX amounts, which was at least professional, but at the same time maybe scripted. I let them know before I left that its been a roller coaster as of late, and Im left wondering what really is going to happen next? The optimist in me tells me these really are just system hiccups, however I am not a comfortable customer with Wells Fargo as of late, and I do not know if everythings going to come down crashing with my hard earned effort intact. I moved, and would otherwise be a happy customer with my old institution, and the almost XXXX with my XXXX XXXX credit card tell me Wells Fargo knew it. My more seldom than not XXXX credit score is a resume statement, and I just hope I am not the one too many XXXX account customers from a bank that Ive received XXXX? XXXX promotional XXXX from. Going forward I do not wish for us to whittle at each others statures in life and want to further this well oiled mention I do believe we run.

Consumer Complaint: I reported my card stolen, deactivated it and requested a new card, which I never got. Instead, I got an alert on the app that the new card had been swiped at XXXX 's XXXX for XXXX. While the transaction was still pending, the bank told me they could not intercept it. They told me the bank automatically activated the debit card before I received it. I never requested or Authorized this activation. Is this legal?

Consumer Complaint: Starting around XX/XX/22 I have tried to set up mobile banking with Wells Fargo. I was approved for a credit card and tried to add it to my current account I already have open. They allowed me to do a balance transfer that is over {$7000.00}. But when I tried to view it online I couldnt. I made the transfer over the phone. I have called numerous times to have this sorted out and merged with my current account. I have been told people would call back, have been told 5 different things as to why I cant see it. I have been asked to come to a branch when the nearest branch is over 3 hours driving distance. I have had numerous cases opened and not one person has called me back to rectify this. They do how ever call me and send mail about my current $ XXXX account and making payments to it. I am not making payments until I have resolved this issue

Consumer Complaint: I have a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX through wells Fargo. It was brought to my attention that a checking account which does not belong to me has been being charged. Wells fargo refuses to chargeback that card & allow me to pay back the bank myself. i did not authroize those card payments nor did the person whos account it is. Wells fargo basically told me i have to take it up with my bank but i was never authorizing those charges to be paid with that account since it is not even my account and i never added it to my XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. They have not been very helpful and i am open & willing to pay the bank back whatever was charged to this persons account.

Consumer Complaint: I have been trying for many years to settle the fees and to try to extend my loan to pay the missed payment at the end of the loan. They would not help or try to do anything to help. I have over {$2500.00} in late fees. I am XXXX and on a budget. I am also trying to figure out how I took out a XXXX dollar mortgage loan in XXXX. After 20 years It shows I still owe XXXX. It seems like after almost 20 years it should be much lower. I feel it has something to do with the way they post my payments since according to them it is late every month. Someone please help.
