Consumer Complaint: WELLS FARGO BANK, N.A., WELLS FARGO & COMPANY, and its affiliate, WELLS FARGO CARDMEMBER SERVICES, wrongfully and deliberately closed my credit card account. Upon doing so, I received deceptive mail fraud from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. indicating that WELLS FARGO BANK, N.A., WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliate, WELLS FARGO CARDMEMBER SERVICES sold the alleged debt, and have been paid for the alleged amount they assume to be due and/or owed, which is a clear indication of unjust enrichment. According to WELLS FARGO & COMPANY 's XX/XX/2023 10-Q form filed with the Security and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) , page 114, Note 13 : Securitizations and Variable Interest Entities ( VIEs ) Loan Sales and Securitization Activity, it conspicuously states : " We ( WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliates ) periodically transfer consumer and commercial loans and other types of financial assets ( asset backed securities, credit card applications ) in securitization and whole loan sale transactions. '' Furthermore, page 116, also of Note 13, Transactions with Unconsolidated VIEs OTHER VIE STRUCTURES, WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliates conspicuously state : " We engage in various forms of structured finance arrangements with other VIEs, including asset-backed finance structures and other securitizations collateralized by asset classes other than mortgages. Collateral may include rental properties, asset-backed securities ( credit card applications ), student loans and mortgage loans. '' Upon establishing the credit card account with WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliates, WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliates, bought, sold, converted, transferred and traded the credit card application ( asset backed security ), also known as commercial and chattel paper, into a security to be bought, sold, pooled, invested and reinvested on the prime and secondary markets in both the public and private sectors. A forensic XXXX audit locating the XXXX to the credit card application ( asset backed security ) and credit card account can and will confirm. Therefore, as an investor in WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and their affiliates, I am due equitable compensation. Regardless of the reason ( s ) the account was closed, I have the right to credit. Withholding my access to my securities is securities fraud. WELLS FARGO & COMPANY and its affiliates are knowingly and willfully operating in dishonor, unjustly, in bad faith and with unclean hands. If we are unable to reach a fair and reasonable agreement within the next 30 days, I will have not other choice but to pursue legal action.

The bank hold the money for more than 6 weeks and requested 4 documents to be signed and notarized. After 6 weeks bank informed me that the money returned to the sender without providing any reason or form of verification document. No the sender has not received the returned wire and Wells Fargo does not provide me any letter or document so i can provide to the sender

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/XXXX An {$8000.00} credit card charge was flagged by me as I believed it to be fraudulent as the vendor name was not recognizable and there was no phone number listed beside the charge. The vendor subsequently contacted me and we agreed it was a legitimate charge. I called Wells Fargo to let them know but they could not process the payment to the vendor in a timely fashion so I instructed them to cancel the transaction as the vendor needed to be paid promptly. I paid the vendor with other funds XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX by wire. Weeks later on XX/XX/XXXX the same {$8000.00} charge appeared on my statement. I called and apparently Wells Fargo had 'investigated ' the transaction and paid it again in error. I have explained this to many Wells Fargo employees, filed multiple claims and eventually on XXXX an Escalations Representative, XXXX XXXX understood the situation and told me this would be resolved properly. That did not happen so I had to open another claim which was denied on XXXX The Wells Fargo claim number is XXXX. The vendor who Wells paid a second time, is not contactable now.

I did 2 years ago but I haven't had anything to do with them in that time frame. Someone from Wells Fargo took that money out of our checking and paid someone's XXXX card. I don't exist with XXXX. Bank said I did it when I didn't ( card doesn't exist ). I ask them where the money is and they don't know. And they have continued to ignore us. Last I heard was that I had to prove that I didn't do it. I did prove it. I don't have a XXXX credit card.

Well Fargo staff helped me claim on XXXX and said hold for investigation. They close 2 accounts, but refused to close the 3rd credit account under my name. I have mail in a reconsideration a week ago but they claimed that they don't have it. I called many times to Well Fargo but it is still unresolved. Recently, It has greatly affected my life. My credit score decreases. I need help.

Consumer Complaint: I purchased shoes from a guy name XXXX XXXX, he goes by the name teddysoles online. He promised me XXXX pairs of shoes plus another one for {$4000.00}. Few months had past and hes telling me hes having issues getting the items to me. He told me he has family issues so I gave him time. Until few weeks past he said that he cant get them and he can refund me. He said he needed time so I gave him time. Not its over a year and still no sign of anything not even a refund. Not sure what to do but to file this claim. I used XXXX to send him the funds and XXXX said they cant help me get it back? Can they at least help me somehow. Im sure they can track down where the money went.. but anyways please help me with this issues on what to do next. Also I saw other people he scammed about the same situation. I bunch of people dealing with the same issue from this scammer.

Consumer Complaint: XX/XX/, at XXXXXXXX XXXX I receive a call from Wells Fargo Bank from a woman saying that someone used debit card in a store in XXXX, Texas. XXXX, XXXX gas station and XXXX. She asked me if I knew anybody in Texas and I said no. After we hung up my wife suggested going to Wells Fargo Bank to stop any kind of activity or transaction regarding our savings and checking account. The same day at XXXXXXXX XXXX I was at the Wells Fargo Bank XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX, CA XXXX and spoke to the branch manager and explain about what happened in the morning. She checked my savings and checking account and said as of now no transaction or activity was going on for both my savings and checking account. She gave me a Wells Fargo phone number to call and follow up to freeze both of my accounts. I requested to change both my account numbers ; she told me that she will set me appointment the next day XX/XX/XXXX to the person who handle the new account. My wife and I were waiting for our meeting to open a new account number at XXXX The manager told me that someone made a wire transfer for the amount of {$8400.00} from my Debit card I called Well Fargo Fraud Protection to explain and find out why the transaction went through since I called yesterday morning to cancel all activity. If the manager of the bank change my account and follow up my request to stop all transaction that day of XX/XX/XXXX I still have my retirement savings.

Consumer Complaint: I went to atm on XX/XX/XXXX and had a cash deposit of XXXX XXXX dollars bills. When I deposited the cash into the slot the atm only counted XXXX for XXXX dollars and spit out XXXX XXXX dollar bill back. So I confirmed the XXXX dollars and proceeded to deposit the remaining XXXX dollars. The atm grabbed the XXXX dollars cash and then had me confirm the amount of XXXX. I confirmed the deposit of XXXX and I waited for the receipt. No receipt generated for me so I tried to print receipt on the atm machine and the ATM machine shuts down and shows on the screen OUT OF ORDER. I called the bank the next morning and explained what happened to me. The agent took my information and he filed a claim dispute and told me that I didnt need to worry because they will take care of this. I told him that Wells Fargo needs to obtain the security cameras to verify that I made the second deposit of XXXX XXXX dollars and they would also see that the atm machine spit out XXXX XXXX dollar bills back. So I hadnt heard from the claims department after 10 days being XX/XX/XXXX XXXX.I called them and was told that it was still being processed. I recieved a letter two days ago Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX stating that the since the original credit was correct, on XX/XX/XXXX, we will deduct the temporary credit of {$300.00} provided to you earlier on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX When you make a deposit at a Wells Fargo ATM, you are prompted to confirm the amount and a receipt is then generated. We recommend you keep the receipt until you see that the deposit has correctly posted to your account. Now I have been banking with Wells Fargo for over four decades now and I believe I know how to make a deposit. I was furious that they were so callous and rude to print something that apathetic to a loyal customer insinuating that I do not know how to deposit money. Plus I just received this letter in XXXX when I deposited the money back in XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately called the claims department on Monday XX/XX/XXXXXXXX and I was told that they had someone come out to check the machine and it was working just fine and that this case is now closed. So Wells Fargo has my {$300.00} dollars and basically is saying that I am dishonest and a liar and they never checked the cameras to verify my claim and my name. Can you please help me get this resolved and have the claims department take a course in the customer is a very important part of their banking business. Thank you so much for the platform to speak out when an injustices happens with peoples rights to earn a living wage only to be told that they are keeping the money. XXXX XXXX

Consumer Complaint: I paid for a product via XXXX, I chose my checking account by accident and was sent another inovice by the vendor. At which point I paid the vendor with a different funding source. The money was stolen from my account by the bank. The paypal invoice shows that XXXX $ of the XXXX was payed to the vendor. I called my bank to cancel this payment they won't, they say the vendor has the money. But the vendor doesn't have the money, XXXX hasn't recieved the money from the bank. No one will tell me where my money went, and I am being kept in the dark. The bank won't issue a temporary credit because now my account is in the negative and no one cares to protect my finances so why would I use a bank because they are not fufilling their commitment.

Consumer Complaint: Around XX/XX/2023, I tried to log into my Wells Fargo account to find that the account no longer existed. I was a little shocked because I received no correspondence that they have done anything to or with my checking account. When I found out about the account closure, it was too late to change my direct deposit to another bank. Wells Fargo " assured '' me that the money can not be deposited into a closed account and that the deposit would be returned back to social security. XX/XX/2023 is when I called social security and inquired about my payment. Social Security informed me that the money has been processed and that Wells Fargo has the funds. I called Wells Fargo at XXXX. They informed me they do not have the funds. Sorry, I believe Social Security over Wells Fargo. I need help in getting my money.
